I mean, depends on what you're writing, and the tone and theme of what you're writing. Trained armored knights were legitimately monstrous on the battlefield, so looking up how they fought helps.

As much as there's a lot of reasons twitter sucks, I genuinely don't want to see it die for the sake of all the artists who now rely on it. Hoping the shithead stops trying to directly administrate.

It's just a little discussion. ^^;
And, um, like I said, I'm the Co-GM and I want to be able to talk with the main GM before going ahead and accepting anything.
When it comes to something like this, my logic is basically that since it's Science Fantasy, realistic alien races isn't as big a concern since nothing's all that realistic.
... Plus I wanted to make an entire race of magical girls for my player character, and I don't like playing really inhuman stuff. ^^;
Like I said, um, for NPC stuff I was going to write more alien things.
Well, I was actually planning on introducing some very much not human-like races, but I just don't like playing really inhuman things which is why I started with the race I was planning to play.
In any case, once GS is around we'll discuss all of this.
Sorry for any wait, I'll talk to GS about your character and race soon.

@Minder: Well, it's... muscles and bones that are robotic for them and that's mostly it, I think? Maybe some organs. So I think, like Rain said, it'd only be the IS if anything since that comes from the cyborg part.
On another note, I... don't think I can post for anything right now except maybe the two Shadow Eternity girls, and I'd rather not post for only NPC's. But we'll see.
I'm really glad people are still interested in this. ^^;
