Current I think watching fight scenes can help in general terms with writing combat, since it can give you an idea of flow and choreography.

At least if you're writing something you know, with knights.

I mean, depends on what you're writing, and the tone and theme of what you're writing. Trained armored knights were legitimately monstrous on the battlefield, so looking up how they fought helps.

As much as there's a lot of reasons twitter sucks, I genuinely don't want to see it die for the sake of all the artists who now rely on it. Hoping the shithead stops trying to directly administrate.

roleplayerguild.com/posts/5… If anyone's up for fighting some kaiju, why not try out my new RP, Godzilla: YATAGARUSU?

<Snipped quote by VitaVitaAR> That's kind of a silly rule. If its Guts' Behelit, then you don't have to worry about that. The only person it's meant to affect is Guts, and Guts can't permanently lose his Behelit.
Honestly, I just think it'd be a bit of a mess for an RP if it was used. If you're not planning on using it at any point, that's fine.
... Okay, just to avoid any of the potential issues it could cause, I'm going to state that the behelit only has any influence or capabilities within the Berserk universe. From what I know it would be kind of a mess if it was allowed to have its full powers.
Alright, um, now I need to figure out how to start.
Um, I am for sure.
Name: Hashimoto Rei Alias: Toriryu/"Street Dragon" Age: 16 Personality: Rei is kind of an aloof girl. Having lost her parents when she was young, she lacks a close bond with her other family members, with the exception of her "younger sister" and the ninja clan back home. She cares about them to some extent, but she never got very close to them. As such, she lacks experience with a real family. Rei is also a rather cocky girl who has no issues with resorting to violence if she feels like it's necessary, and very few qualms fighting, having spent her life as a street-crawling delinquent. If she needs to beat the hell out of someone to reach her goals, she has no problem with that. Even before she had a real purpose she tended to go out at night and stir up trouble. Rei's not the kind of person to go listening to others, blowing off any advice or attempts to help unless she immediately sees how it could benefit her. That said, if someone gets close to her they'll be able to make her listen. She cares very deeply for her "sister". Rei has a short temper and a lack of patience. If someone isn't directly telling her information she needs she'll just get more and more annoyed with them, for example. Powers: Rei has no actual powers. Physically she is a normal teenaged girl, nothing more nothing less. However, she has been trained in various Japanese martial arts, from hand-to-hand to the use of various weapons, though her focus was on swordplay. She is highly agile and acrobatic, and has experience with knock-down drag-out fights on the streets. She wears a pair of goggles equipped with Heat Vision, Night Vision, and flash protection. The main focus, however, is her katana. Kouryu is a very old katana, inbued with the ability to channel electricity as if it was lightning. Its blade is extremely sharp and unbreakable, as well. Rei usually fights with it sheathed, so as she does not cut people in half, only unsheathing it when she's up against targets who are not sapient, living beings(unless her hand is forced). She speaks English fluently, but tends to lapse into Japanese when surprised or insulting others. Weakness: Rei has no powers for herself. She is an ordinary girl, albeit with excellent training. Naturally this means she's rather vulnerable to attack. Appearance: "So it seems you've been trying to hurt these nice people? Tch..." Bio: Rei was very young when her parents suffered an accident and died. Alone in the world, the young girl had no idea what to do... until she was found by people who claimed to be "friends of her family". It was soon apparent that they were no ordinary friends, revealing themselves to be a secret ninja order. She was brought up among them and trained in their ways, eventually earning the right to use the katana, Kouryu. However, she never viewed them as family. They were friends and teachers, but nothing more than that. At least until she met the daughter of the heads of the clan, a girl slightly younger then her, named Masako. They became close friends, and though there was no blood relation between the two, she began to feel like a "big sister" in a way. Not as if they were blood relations, but in terms of caring for the younger girl. At the same time, Rei had begun to use her skills on the streets, forming a gang and earning the moniker "Toriryu" or "Street Dragon". Her gang pursued other gangs and criminals and she became known as a vigilante heroine of sorts. It was not long after this that she discovered that she had family in Jump City, and began being sent to spend a few months out of every year with them. She isn't too fond of these periods, as she's not close to her family and she's away from her gang and her sister, but, well... there's bad guys to beat up anywhere. It sure won't stop her. Arc Ideas: Something with her "little sister"? Meet the ninjas who trained her? Meet her "gang"? Other: Titans Forever!
I think I'll have my bio posted soon, if all goes well.
Well, nothing exciting is happening at that restaurant, but you're still doing stuff there, right?
It's less exciting(again, lots of people wanted downtime) and more I'm kind of confused at why you left the nearest person who could interact with you and bring you into the main plot and went somewhere no-one is really going to go to.
Well, Guts is crippled and uneducated. It kinda makes sense he'd stop by at least once.
Can I have a serious answer, please? I'm honestly just kind of confused, because there was someone coming to bring you into the main events of the RP, and you went somewhere where... there's nothing really happening and no real reason for anything to really happen.
Um, IncredibleBee? I'm kind of confused. Why did you go to a new location when there was someone finally showing up to interact with you? ... Especially a location where there's basically nothing to do?
I hit a wall for the Strike Team. Hopefully I'll have this fixed soon.
