Current I think watching fight scenes can help in general terms with writing combat, since it can give you an idea of flow and choreography.

At least if you're writing something you know, with knights.

I mean, depends on what you're writing, and the tone and theme of what you're writing. Trained armored knights were legitimately monstrous on the battlefield, so looking up how they fought helps.

As much as there's a lot of reasons twitter sucks, I genuinely don't want to see it die for the sake of all the artists who now rely on it. Hoping the shithead stops trying to directly administrate.

roleplayerguild.com/posts/5… If anyone's up for fighting some kaiju, why not try out my new RP, Godzilla: YATAGARUSU?

That section's only for approved bios. Also... "entering the internet as an RP character" really does not work for backstory in this RP, I'd recommend reading the OP clearly so you know what works for characters.

Also rewinding time is not so good and that character appears to just be a stick figure. ^^;

I... did accept one but that player has dropped and honestly I don't really think accepting an actual stick figure was a good idea. I wouldn't do it again.
In this case, I'm completely certain that all the irreplaceable magical weapons are safe.

Other weird weapons aren't actually magical.
@IncredibleBee: I don't mean just that. A fair amount of characters wield unique magic weaponry that can't be replaced. That's a line that isn't allowed to be crossed, completely destroying a character's ability to fight is a problem.

If it can destroy those then it does need restraining in some form.
The last word I'll say on the matter of the Dragonslayer is to get its limitations.
I'll try and work out a totally different NPC, then. I'd like to use this one for something else but consider her as having not shown up yet.

I don't completely agree with how you've had the Dragonslayer's capabilities working from what people have told me, but I'm tired of arguing and would rather things keep going smoothly instead rather then taking up more space with this.
@IncredibleBee: I have actually explicitly nerfed Dlanor so that her weapon does not work in that way. I did not see Cinder Fall being able to destroy anything and if that is the case then I must have misread. Kiba's abilities were not listed as he has described recently him and that is one of the problems I have with his current playing, Misaka's gun is still capable of being defended against, and Kakine still has limitations that are the only reason I accepted him.

My issues with how you are playing the Dragonslayer are that you seem to believe it instantly destroys any magic at all, and that the explanation you have used to justify this does not make sense. Not that it can harm or deflect magic.

If it really comes down to it, fine, I'll edit what she said or something.

@Earnest Evans: If that's the case I must have missed it, or misunderstood the extent it was meant to fill, and I apologize. However having spoken with people who read Berserk it does not appear that it goes to this level in canon.
That is because most RP's I have ever been in do not write full blown character sheets for every single NPC even if they're relatively important. Usually the context gives what you need as far as importance goes. On both sides notable NPC's have gotten pictures and more detailed descriptions, for example.

I didn't ask, and nothing in your bio indicated this, as well as nothing you previously wrote in the RP for your character. Maybe I should have, but you could have mentioned you wanted a different character when I first had her show up, or if you had any concerns when I was talking with you over PM's. I'm also honestly concerned about him being unable to interact with any notably supernatural characters if this is how you will play him.

... Also Superman is gone and I'm quite frankly not pleased with having accepted him in the first place, but if he did include planet-busting then I wouldn't have accepted him at any point and I wish I hadn't.
It's less that magic works the same everywhere and more that it has the same effects everywhere. If it worked the same everywhere there would be absolutely no way to reconcile all the various systems for using it.

IncredibleBee, Just as, say... Magic from let's say Lord of the Rings has nothing to do with the Warp from Warhammer 40k, magic from any other universe has nothing to do with the Astral Realm from Berserk.

If your explanation made more sense(blanket antimagic not concentrated on a plane of existence from a specific setting, for example), then I would understand. Even still that would run more on being able to cut her flames then through her weapon but it would be an edge if you seriously want to fight her.

My issues with what you've been doing have been that you've repeatedly avoided any attempts to get you into the RP and attempted to instant-kill a non-faceless mook NPC.

At this point I'm getting kind of frustrated because I did discuss sending NPC's with you to get you involved in things and you didn't at all mention that I had to completely avoid certain types of characters.
Ideally it's still alive but a lot of people just seem to have completely stopped posting.
Dlanor A. Knox – The Museum World

The dodge she had made to avoid the gunfire made her attack miss. Very well.

Dlanor raised the Red Key, the crimson blade of Red Truth humming as she held it out to point towards her enemy. Well, not her only enemy. Many of the people here were her opponents. Few of them seemed concerned for the potential damage they could cause, or for the lives of civilians who could be trapped inside. Dlanor's catlike smile grew wider.

Yes... Yes, she would stay to her word. Their further resistance would lead to their deaths. She did, after all, state she would use lethal force. And what was an executioner for, other then using lethal force to slaughter all those she was deployed against?

Of course, it was then that some kind of strange projectile struck her in the back, causing what felt like cold electricity to crackle through her body. It did not, however, cause any actual damage to her. She turned to look back over her shoulder briefly and attempt to locate the shooter.

There was a reptilian gun-wielding figure, and Dlanor began to move, stepping to her side as she kept her focus on her other enemies in the room. If she adjusted her positioning she would be able to keep an eye on almost all of them.

"Very well," Dlanor said, her catlike smile growing, as the thoughts of their deaths filled her mind, "As an executioner of heaven, I will stop at nothing to kill YOU."

With that, she erupted forward, the red haze around her feet igniting for a moment before she landed on the ground and sprinted the rest of the way towards Kiba. He was still the main target, as he had at the moment used the widest-area attack. Therefore, he should die first to prevent harm to any civilians.

Yes, he was, at the moment, the first victim of Dlanor's Execution.

Bullet – Yggdrasil Thoroughfare

Bullet nodded. Good, her report could get through... that was the most important thing was that her report got through. The medics were quick to set her onto a stretcher, but it seemed she would recover fairly easily. The arm would have to be replaced, of course, but her injuries could be treated.

Meanwhile, Mach Calibur's report would return that there was a quickly and easy path towards the lower levels nearby. Of course, it was a maintenance shaft, but as she was an agent she did have permission to use any means necessary to reach her destination if it was official UMMA business.

The Leader - Shadow Eternity Headquarters

The Leader sighed. She had, of course, known about the secession of those now calling themselves Shocker+. However, she was not aware that they would so quickly mount an attack on her forces. Prior to this she had been content to let them... do whatever as long as they did not interfere, but now...

They would need to be dealt with.

At that moment, there was a request at her door, someone else desired to see her.

"Come in, I'll address you shortly," she said, the door sliding open on its own.
