Current I think watching fight scenes can help in general terms with writing combat, since it can give you an idea of flow and choreography.

At least if you're writing something you know, with knights.

I mean, depends on what you're writing, and the tone and theme of what you're writing. Trained armored knights were legitimately monstrous on the battlefield, so looking up how they fought helps.

As much as there's a lot of reasons twitter sucks, I genuinely don't want to see it die for the sake of all the artists who now rely on it. Hoping the shithead stops trying to directly administrate.

roleplayerguild.com/posts/5… If anyone's up for fighting some kaiju, why not try out my new RP, Godzilla: YATAGARUSU?

Well, for UMMA characters there's a contact for anyone who can to come investigate the murder site on Yggdrasil... for Facilier, there's a couple options but I'd recommend prepping to go to Nox, it's pretty easy to excuse being asked to go there and try and steal the Eye of the Serpent.
Alright. Also, a version of King Dedede has appeared but yours is different then that one so yeah. ^^;

All three accepted.
Kirisame Marisa – Battle Frontier

"Haaah, that was awesome!" declared Marisa cheerfully as she clambered out of the suit, surveying her surroundings as she did. It was... more tech stuff! But somehow different tech stuff then what she'd seen in the other world. It looked more... Well, Marisa wasn't exactly good at technology beyond what she had seen in manga, but this seemed kind of different... somehow! She paused for a moment when she noticed who was waiting for them there, tilting her head briefly before hopping completely out of the suit and... poking her in the cheek.

"Is this what you meant by a complicated family situation, Misaka-san?" Marisa asked, looking back over her shoulder at the other Misaka, "Because she looks just like you! If she's got the same name, that'd be pretty damn confu... sing..."

The perfectly ordinary witch trailed off when Kakine mentioned escorting her somewhere, and Misaka talked about cutting off her route of escape. Anyone saying that kind of thing probably didn't have their best intentions in mind.

"... Er... what? Uh, what's this building exactly? Where are you planning on taking me?"

It'd be very easy to just pull out her broom, nice and quick... these walls probably weren't Spark-Proof, right?

Black Rock Shooter

Black Rock Shooter, at least initially, sat calmly with her hands folded on her lap. This seemed quite normal, right? It certainly wasn't unusual for the Otherworld, and who would say that such a thing was impossible in the Human World? Having never truly seen the Human World herself prior to this made it difficult to judge. Needless to say, when the boat started going upside-down and doing such unusual motions, her slender hands tightly gripped the sides. She didn't want to go tumbling out before they reached their destination, after all. The Otherself was, however, unprepared for the outcome.

Moments later she was totally soaked, sitting in the boat and blinking, reaching up to prod her dripping wet pigtails and then looking down at herself.

"... Ah..."

The little girl, however, was clapping her hands excitedly and laughing. "Wow, that was great! I've never been on a water slide before... and I feel a whole lot cooler after that landing!"

She giggled at how soaked everyone else was, and took a deep breath. "Whew... I was kind of angry when you woke me up, but... this is way too fun! ... Aside from those scary guys before."
I'm going to keep directing other new players towards the blood plot, since it's an easy place for new UMMA characters to jump in.

As for Blake, hopefully after this fight some normal socializing can get going.

Edit: Also, waiting on @Lost Cause before I can move Nox forward.
All of them look fine, but there's one thing I'd like to make sure about.

Doctor Facilier's abilities to transform people are only when they make a contract and it is very unlikely to come up in the RP, right? I haven't seen the movie but I want to make sure.
Oh, I'm sorry. ^^; I'll edit in a moment.

Edit: @Moonman and edited.
Saten Ruiko

Ruiko grinned. Naturally, to her, the fact that the perpetrator definitely appeared to be the same as in the pictures meant that the rumor was correct. There was a ghost causing all this trouble! She didn't really know how to stop a ghost, but... this was Academy City, right? They probably had some kind of... anti-ghost project or something! That had to be the case, right? Well, regardless, she simply felt really pretty pleased that everything was fitting the rumor so perfectly. After all, the idea of a ghost going around and messing with Espers totally wasn't completely impossible and far-fetched, right?

Right.

Of course, Ruiko got a bit distracted when she noticed that the smaller girl was squeezing the taller girl's... rear for some reason! Whoa, were they a couple? Obviously it wasn't a problem, but that was pretty bold...

Ruiko paused for a moment and eyed Uiharu's skirt. No, that'd be hard from this angle... Oh well, she'd have to wait to try something like that out!

Misaka Mikoto

So the guy who did it looked just like the guy who was killed in the accident? ... More and more, Mikoto couldn't help but question if there was something going on there. It wouldn't be the first time that something shady like that had gone on by far. But... the only way to really be sure was to find out more evidence, and it didn't look like there was going to be anything they could turn up too easily right now.

The girl was still pretty shaken, too, the taller girl had hugged her...

"There's no wa-..."

...

Was... was she squeezing the... her...

Blushing red, Mikoto quickly turned away. That... that had to be an accident, right?! There was no way anything like that could have... could have...

It... it was an accident right?!
Hmm, how to do this next post...
And so the Amarok Hunter and the Scatterbrained Witch make their entrance.

... Both concerned about similar things, surprisingly.
Esfir Borgoslavia

Even without an active duty, one should always be prepared.

It was for this reason that the white-haired Russian girl, her coat carried lightly in the wind, still clutched her suitcase. The Amarok wolf, face fixed in an intense growl as always, was emblazoned on the side. Surely this was enough for anyone to be aware of her nature. Strictly speaking she was not directly needed... at the moment. But why not be prepared? She was not wearing the Amarok bodysuit, instead wearing a white shirt, a grey vest, and a navy blue skirt, but that didn't matter. She was still prepared. An Amarok Hunter is always prepared.

Her free hand firmly in her pocket as she walked along with her suitcase, Esfir Borgoslavia strode down the street with focused intent. She didn't want anyone to go frivolously talking to her. That would quite simply be irritating. She wanted to go and do what she had intended from the start, and any delays would be met with nothing more than annoyance. She didn't want to deal with anyone who thought she needed someone to talk to, or anything foolish like that. No, instead she kept simply walking down the street.

Because damn it, she really wanted a sandwich.

There was a cafe not too much further down the road. The atmosphere was nice, the food was good, the staff wore nice uniforms and the decoration was cute... not that Esfir cared about the latter two matters, of course. She obviously didn't. The important thing was that she got her meal. Currently she was just on standby in case there was any kind of monster activity in this location, and she certainly couldn't do that on an empty stomach.

Mihama Yukiko

"Haauu... there's no customers!"

Yukiko slumped down on the counter, one arm extended and another folded beneath her head. She let out a long sigh as she did, lying there for a few moments. There really was no-one... was no one interested in her magic? She had some onmyodo too, normally that got people's attention... On top of that, was there really no-one who needed any problems solved? She really was open to anything! Any type of problem she could possibly solve! ... Well, except Western cooking. Yukiko had some serious trouble with some of the recipes... But most other things she was really pretty good at! It was her job, and everything! Why wasn't anyone showing up?

Noticing that her hat was beginning to fall over her eyes, Yukiko quickly pushed it up and notice something a bit... well... improper for a shop/problem solving place... thing! Still laying slumped down on her counter, she had to mention it!

"You can't just sit on the counter, Koneko-san..."

The cat-eared girl looked down, over her shoulder. Named Koneko because 'small cat' seemed like a good idea for a name at the time, the nekomata was something of an assistant to the witch. In spite of being older in both chronological age and appearance. But she was the familiar in this situation, so it was her job to help out! ... And she usually was pretty good at that, except for times like, well... this.

"It's not like we have any customers right now," replied Koneko, taking a bite of her taiyaki. It was red bean from what Yukiko could tell... she could feel her stomach craving some red bean taiyaki for herself. Or anything, really. But she had to stay here... what if someone came by while she was gone?

"That's not the point," replied Yukiko, finally sitting up, "What if someone comes by and they see you sitting on the counter like that?"

She paused for a moment, before adding "And where did you get that taiyaki?"

Koneko smiled, and took another bite. After she swallowed, she gave her answer with a wink and a smile.

"My secret~"
