Current I think watching fight scenes can help in general terms with writing combat, since it can give you an idea of flow and choreography.

At least if you're writing something you know, with knights.

I mean, depends on what you're writing, and the tone and theme of what you're writing. Trained armored knights were legitimately monstrous on the battlefield, so looking up how they fought helps.

As much as there's a lot of reasons twitter sucks, I genuinely don't want to see it die for the sake of all the artists who now rely on it. Hoping the shithead stops trying to directly administrate.

roleplayerguild.com/posts/5… If anyone's up for fighting some kaiju, why not try out my new RP, Godzilla: YATAGARUSU?

Actually... might post for a few scenes and then just leave the ones that need more replies for now. We'll see how I feel soon. ^^;
I didn't have anything planned for the phase of the moon so I flipped a coin and ended up with no.

I'll be posting tomorrow to get things going, hopefully more people in the Nox scene will post before I do.
Let's knock off the random discussions in the signups, okay?
When I said he was a weird choice for a crossover RP, I meant that.

I don't feel Santa, specifically, is acceptable in this RP. The rest was in terms of mythological characters in general.

My wording may have been confusing and I apologize for that. I just don't feel Santa from nearly any media he's known from really works well for a crossover RP as a full-scale character. ^^;
Well, Santa would end up as a weird choice for any crossover RP, honestly.

Again, unless it's just actual mythology.

The explanation was more in reference for any mythological figures.
I'm familiar with Santa Claus's mythology.

But I have to be honest and say I don't feel he's an appropriate character for a crossover RP. Maybe if it was specifically based off of mythology or something(which would probably be a pretty good RP), but not for this.

Honestly I'd feel the same way about anyone using any real-world mythological figure, unless they were being used as a character from a canon setting or from an OC setting that was not set up just to be straight out of mythology(for example, if you used, say, characters from Percy Jackson that would be fine, but not if you just used Zeus right out of Greek Mythology).

I'm sorry, but this is my final word on the matter.
The first I would no longer accept and kind of regret accepting now, all the latter, while fairly ridiculous, are still complete characters.

I can't really see Santa Claus as anything but a joke character when applied to a crossover and don't even see how he could be played aside from a one-off appearance as an NPC.
Joke characters are honestly more suited to one-off NPC's then a full-blown player character. ^^;
I kind of have a villain to write up if not actually use too, honestly. ^^; One who uses weaponized classical music(hopefully not too similar to general sound stuff).

She's one of Blast Girl's villains, a "performance criminal". She's not really about the goal of the crime, and never kills anyone because there's no point if you want them to see your performance. She does, however, cause lots of property damage and theft in the name of her performances.
I'm sorry, but I can't accept Santa Claus.

While he probably exists in the multiverse in various universes, it's kind of silly to actually sign up as him and I don't know what you're expecting to do by playing him.
