Kino

Placing some food aside in her bag, carefully wrapping it to keep it fresh until she found a better storage solution, Kino decided it was best to approach her fellow... 'players'. At least, that was how they had been referred to. Taking Hermes' handlebars, she walked him over to the nearby tree, which appeared to sprout a large amount of bento boxes, complete with all kinds of food. The blue-dressed woman and the red-wearing martial artist were in the tree, enjoying the inexplicable bounty. Stopping shortly before the base of the tree, she looked up towards them. She noticed the one girl from before suddenly engulf an entire hill of pancakes... into the back of her head, but that was not the strangest thing she'd seen since arriving.

"This is certainly a different type of world, isn't it?" she said, "Growing food is nothing new, but I've never seen it like this before..."

Kino couldn't help it. Even with her internal frustration at being constrained somewhere against her will, this was still giving her that feeling... That feeling that she thought birds must have. That feeling of travel. Certainly, it was no substitute for traveling to other countries, but she had never, ever before seen something like this. It was entirely new to her.

Sakura Kyouko

One. Two. Three. Four. Five. Six.

The agility of a magical girl was pretty useful. One by one, Kyouko snatched the potato chip butterflies out of the air, swiftly crushing the insect part and preserving the snack food by yanking it free. Certainly, she was ticked off about being dragged off somewhere, but why would she ever pass up this opportunity? There was food everywhere! Tossing another potato chip in her mouth, the redhead bit down with a crunch, pulling out a plastic bag to keep the ones she had gathered in. Normally, it was for food she'd taken from people who obviously had less use of it than she did. Who left food lying around so unattended, anyway? They were practically begging for her to take it. And this... this was totally ridiculous, but the sheer amount of food was nothing to ignore.

Swallowing, Kyouko took another potato chip from her bag as she looked over her surroundings, a fanged grin on her face. That pocky flower thing looked pretty promising for her next stop...

She paused for a moment when she heard a voice calling out, and grasped the shaft of her spear, swiftly pulling it from the ground as she spun towards the source of the voice. The spear swiftly raised as she directed the point towards the source. Huh. Some redheaded guy, asking for help or whatever. Jeez, he looked like a loser.

"... Askin' for help's pretty dumb if ya ask me," Kyouko commented, keeping her spear pointed towards him, "Does it look like anyone'd have a clue what's goin' on here? 'Sides, anyone with half a brain'd pass up a loser like you."

As if for punctuation, she popped another chip in her mouth. Damn, they were tasty.

Okay, um, since people may have missed this, anyone can suggest future challenges(like the Toriko thing we have going right now). Any player at all. I'm assuming you'd also have some control over them since you came up with the idea.

That being said, GMs have the right to veto ideas.

Also Kyouko has to far been very fun to write.

Shi, the Quiet Killer

Shi managed to maintain a firm grip on her book as she held it up for inspection. She'd liked the cover, she had to confess, and upon reading what it was about she couldn't resist. A magical girl who transformed powered by her love of cats? And then she fought monsters? It was kind of appealing to Shi, for certain... especially the cats. She couldn't manage to watch Kazumi's reaction as she held the book up, still looking away, but when she heard the taller girl say she might read it sometime she looked back up with shining eyes. It was, well... someone else liked a book she liked, and that was a good thing, right? ... Even if it was only by looking at the cover.

However, Shi immediately found herself rather embarrassed, her cheeks flushing as she looked away again. "... Y... y-yes, it's g-good..."

After a few moments of silence, still clutching the book against her chest, the white-haired girl walked towards her home. Pausing for a moment, she took a deep breath, quivering slightly as she turned once more to face Kazumi.

"... Th..."

This was the only thing that could be said to someone after they took time to walk you home, even if it wasn't necessary...

"... Th... thanks..."

With that, the girl pushed open her door and vanished into her home.

The walls were blank. There was no television, no furniture of any sort. A simple futon was the only piece of furniture in the first room. Many of the others were occupied with supplies of all kinds. The doors and windows were warded, not by Shi herself, but by her handlers. Her knowledge of magic had been deliberately limited, and was impossible to expand. She had to be assisted on matters like that...

Shi quietly placed the book next to her futon. Near it, many other books of all different kinds were neatly stacked. She didn't have a bookshelf to store them. And she only had time to drop them off. Shi headed to the back of the house, through a hallway until she reached what would normally be a bedroom. Many boxes with various labels were arranged on one side of the room. One was a small suitcase.

Shi opened it, and from it she took it. The familiar cool, black metal of her pistol. She placed it gently aside as she placed her nearby hat on her head.

A few moments later, the white-haired girl was finished.

She had only to pick up her final weapon. It was late enough that she should not need to use magic to move covertly.

Shi left through the back window, sealing it from the outside as she did. She was already late.

That's going to be an incredibly difficult mission to fulfill.

It works now. I don't know too much about Gunslinger Girl beyond the basic premise and Triela being a really popular character among fans of it. ^^;

Like I said, though, @Grey Star would be all for Tailred. As she has demonstrated.
