Current I think watching fight scenes can help in general terms with writing combat, since it can give you an idea of flow and choreography.

At least if you're writing something you know, with knights.

I mean, depends on what you're writing, and the tone and theme of what you're writing. Trained armored knights were legitimately monstrous on the battlefield, so looking up how they fought helps.

As much as there's a lot of reasons twitter sucks, I genuinely don't want to see it die for the sake of all the artists who now rely on it. Hoping the shithead stops trying to directly administrate.

roleplayerguild.com/posts/5… If anyone's up for fighting some kaiju, why not try out my new RP, Godzilla: YATAGARUSU?

... Well, Fanilly's going to have a lot to deal with after the fight. Berating the people who went "too far", and then suddenly mood whiplash for her.
Once everyone gets a post in I'll reply myself.
There's some other people taken along the way. Fanilly's intent was to leave the man to one of them after the fighting was finished but she didn't have a good chance to say so. ^^;
Well, it's more that intentionally disemboweling someone does not fit with what Fanilly thinks the Iron Rose Knights should be doing. ^^;

... Strictly-speaking so is what Tyaethe's doing, but it's harder to approach a 200+-year-old undead knight about that and the disemboweling is worse.

Nothing against the players, again, just Fanilly might have some issues here.
I looked back through the posts after reading Marianne's reaction, and while I didn't see a lot of it, there are a couple things that I think Fanilly might actually be calling out in my next post.

Nothing against the posters but since she's a captain of an Order meant to be all about justice and compassion she might have something to say about a couple things.
That would be fine.
Pretty much, yes.
Saber, King Arthur Herself

In taking her own meal, Saber had not actually made it back to the table before digging in. She had swiftly taken the 'bear claw', raised it to her mouth, and... it was completely, wonderfully delicious. Before she even reached the table after getting her food, she was already nearly finished. The blonde girl hadn't made a mess or anything like it. No, she'd simply eaten so rapidly that her meal was already almost entirely gone. And as she sat, the last of the bear claw vanished into her mouth.

"... That was good," Saber stated, simply, as if the way she had consumed it so rapidly did not thoroughly clarify her thoughts upon it to her allies. Her eyes slowly drifted back to the counter, at the various pastries that remained inaccessible. She already wanted more, but knew, to her disappointment, that purchasing further pastries was likely out of the question.
We're far past the rat-stomping phase.

Though I will say that the camp itself is going to be quite a bit less easy, though given that it doesn't look like any of the rambush party is going to escape at the moment they won't have a good chance to prepare.
We're not low-level characters in a fantasy RPG.
