<Snipped quote by MelonHead>

I haven't posted the rules yet, but I am doing a limited capacity on firearms to 5 round magazines, with a 10 magazine limit per firearm. Now I will also limit the number of firearms to something logical and not have walking armouries.

A limit to caliber or bullet weight would be nice too, since otherwise, one could also just bring in a shotgun with a 200 millimeter barrel, firing a shitton of pellets at once - pretty much the equivalent of a machine gun in its unaviodability.
It would be marvelous if whoever takes charge of next month's tournament posts a required tier/power level for the participants' characters ASAP. While a lot of people here have a very diverse range of fighters, some (me included) will probably have to write a new one, so it'd be nice to have as much time as possible to polish the concepts and ideas behind them. It's just so much more better when one's abilities and powers are meant to work with each other, instead of being a mish-mash of related, but ultimately unfitting tools.
@GreivousKhan

Actually he planned and gambled on him jumping from the start, cause why wouldn't he? (heck I even mentioned this plan to DJ a week ago, Think I can't predict what your going to do? I can send you a pic of our Pm's and it's all time stamped if you don't believe me.)

I had no idea, as a player, that melon was going to jump, therefore you baseless claim that I somehow read melons mind is to absurd. XD

Cm'on Khan. It's not a baseless claim from my point of view, so no need to laugh me out.

Also, you've perverted the meaning of my own post, since i was making an entirely different point. I genuinely thought you knew of Melon's plan, so what i was trying to say was that while it could've been a predictable move to you, since you've seen Melon fight before, it wouldn't be an obvious one to Tordor at all. From that perspective, it is indeed metagamey.

Basically, my post is an answer to this question:

cause why wouldn't he?
@GreivousKhan @Melonhead

It largely depends on how thick the floor is. I do have doubt in the nether's ability to corrode stone so fast, as it seems to spread in form of flame. In that case, unless the floor has rather large cracks in it, it would take much more than a fraction of a second to penetrate far enough into the stone.

But nevermind all of the above: this move looks quite out-of-character to me in the first place. While Khan may know of Melon's penchant for kicks and knee strikes, Tordor has absolutely no reason to suspect Judgment of such a thing. All Tordor knows, is that one of his opponents is a large behemoth clad in armor and wielding a greatsword - and that isn't a premise from which you could reliably infer a jump attack. On the contrary, Tordor can only expect him to never let his feet leave the ground, using the sword as a weapon instead, as even kicks are seldom advocated in swordfighting, not to mention anything that involves jumping. Heck, Melon even mentioned himself that a horizontal slash to the torso was possible instead of the knee strike, meaning that the prediction is borderline metagaming.

The only way i can see Tordor moving the flame in time to get it underneath Judgments feet, where it would spend just a fraction of a second corroding the stone, is directing all of his attention away from Listia to catch the jump on pure reaction speed.
Fine. I'll go re-do my post to show her getting hit. Not gonna argue or anything. Pointless cause I'm clearly the weaker one here.

Maybe that's for the best. Your initial version of the post actually opened Itsuki up to a far more vicious follow-up than just a knee strike, so you might as well just be trading your pawn to keep the queen safe.
@DJAtomika @MelonHead

Judgement's attack would lead him to crash into your character -as- her hands touched the ground

This is my only concern. Though i may as well question in return Judgment's ability to achieve such perfect timing on his attack.

But otherwise, i'd rather let Itsuki have her dodge, than let a dispute rise over this. FYI, her move still remains highly punishable, even after the dodge.
tl;dr
@DJAtomika

If it's the latter portion of the post, after she draws her blades, then i don't see any problem with that.
Mind if i join?
Soundless, the teleport pieced his body back into existence, Vos arriving into the battlefield - which he noted to be slightly more barren than the previous arena. With nobody in line of sight, he turned his head around careful not to even make the leather jacket creak, only to be be met with quite a disheartening reveal: his opponent was there, just about 8 meters away, and by their posture - the characteristic hunching of the shoulders - Vos could guess what weapon they were wielding. If he was right, then the fight promised to be a harsh one, brutal and short.

Deeply inhaling, he turned around, drawing his sword and a stiletto dagger, then stopping in a sideways stance, right side facing Jok, heavily exhaled. The creaking of the leather, the sliding of Danwarge against its sheath, the rustling of the ground underneath his boots, his own breath - all would be a dead giveaway, and Vos readied himself for the gunman's attack, both dagger and sword held in front of his body.
