THANK KHORNE YOU'RE ON MY SIDE
I would hold off Melon, we are trying to get the newer people who showed interest involved so they can understand how a fight flows. But *sigh* it seems that people pop in, show interest then vanish.

Yeah, and truth be said, i'm getting somewhat impatient. At the risk of sounding like an utter arsehole and hypocrite, i propose that once someone else confirms that they will be participating, they will be given a 3 day limit to write their CS. After all, the CS is rather short, and finishing it should take no longer than typing a proper post - and if they're unable to do that, then why trust that they will be able to keep up with the roleplay itself?
BTW, how powerful is Ghoukas and his followers?

@MelonHead, @Stekkmen, @Dymion and @ImportantNobody might still be joining, so i've sent notices to you guys to see who's in.

Bring it on, Arena.

SHOW ME YOUR MOVES!!!

or character sheet, that will do too. you kinda need one to participate, and it better be detailed, or we'll nitpick it to bits and pieces.

Again, many thanks!

I'm assuming that it's a good rule of thumb to be on the lower end of this spectrum then?

Low to mid is where most characters are, with mid being somewhere around street levels of destruction - demolishing cars, bringing down buildings, but still not powerful enough to wreck havoc on a whole city block.
Would i be allowed to post in the lobby as well, seeing as Ijok is supposed to be in the tourney? Might as well be a good way to start off something with him.
I was just looking at the Arena battles recently and apparantly these people have fought to the death like 20 times before. Explained away because of THE MULTIVERSE! How about instead of "people fighting to kill the other guy because of tournament" we have actual in-story problems, like a feud between two clans or something, and that is our motivation to fight eachother.

Actually, that's what the multiverse is trying to achieve.
Alright, can someone please give me the rundown how this arena business works? Any volunteers wanna run me through a tutorial fight?

The only things necessary to start off are knowledge of the basic combat rp rules, which can be found here, and a character sheet with a good amount of detail - you can look here for some examples. The rest can be picked up along the way.

EDIT: it's also a good idea to have a healthy amount of detail in your own posts: stance, direction of your attacks and the like, since it is key to convey the image you have in your own mind to your partner.
