Father Isaac Keller

NAME: Father Isaac Keller

AGE: 31

GENDER: Male

LIKES: The patron Saint Margaret, feeding the homeless, ministering to the hopeless, pork griot, lifting weights, Chai tea, and hip hop when no one is listening.

DISLIKES: Bigotry, fish in general, fizzy drinks, people who lie, the feeling of wool on his skin, and killing zombies to survive.

WEAPON: A string of heavy chains he removed from the back door of his church after the hope of saving any inside was long gone.

LOOKS: Father Isaac is a bear of a man with dark skin and a well kempt obelisk beard. He wears his black hair cropped short and faded. Isaac's black shirt and slacks are drawn together by the white collar at his throat.

MISC: He comes from a church in Pacifica that had heavy ties to the Voodoo Boys without being under their thumb. He was raised in the district and felt the call to action to help the homeless whom inundated the streets.

Firefly - Second 'Verse

For Captain Cal Strand, the gravy train done left the station. He’s stuck on Persephone, high an’ dry, with a boat needs tendin’ an’ all his crew in the wind. Seein’ as he’s pulled more’n his share of fast ones on the Alliance, the thought of hightailin’ it to the black is all kinds of pleasin’. Of course, he wasn’t countin’ on an engine held together with duct tape and bailing wire, a crime boss sportin’ a grudge, a pithy AI, or a cranky teenager with an itchy trigger finger. The China Doll could be that gift horse whose mouth he shoulda checked, dohn mah?

The year’s 2521. War ended a decade ago. Been 3 years since the Miranda Broadwave riled some folk up, but the Alliance put the boot down on that right quick. It ain’t easy for “naughty men to slip about” these days, but there’s still work as can be had, long’s the price is right an’ you ain’t the curious type.

“Firefly – Second ‘Verse” is an episodic PBP game. Character and plot development will be encouraged and written over the course of each episode. Certain adventures will involve “capers,” live action scenes played out in chat by member players. These scenes could vary from crimes to action to something as simple as everyone talking over the galley table.

We got need of First Mate, Pilot, Mechanic, Medic, and a couple deckhands what know cargo straps and how to shoot. Always room for a Companion, or if you hear the callin’, a shepherd don’t hurt. Passengers, too, but don’t let none of this fence you in. There’s lots of different folk out there. After all...it’s a mighty big ‘verse.

Thanks @Kuro. Lot's of things interest me! But, honestly, I'm mostly bound by whichever characters surface to tell me their stories. I'm a sucker for diving all in to character development. This does, however, make it difficult for me to run more than a couple RPs at a time :-/.

Hello and howdy!

If they would have just stuck with killing monsters, but no they had to throw in angels & demons...I think that ruined the show imo.

There's plenty of monsters,Cryptid, myths, that they never pursued.

I did enjoy the "Monster of the Week" aspect of the early episodes, though, I liked their larger arcs that did involve the larger powers that be because it was compelling. I think the difference for me was that the early angels/demons stuff was focused and had a purpose of leaving Sam in hell with Satan and Dean was meant to live his "apple pie" life broken and pining for his brother, ha.
