I sound that way because I don't want to have to suddenly say "Oh, I'm not going to do it because it involves normal people" and be super offending. If I ask now, it clears things up. Also, it's mostly because this is a flashback that I'm asking. It feels to me like a flashback would have more of a chance to have mainly normal people characters.
