Happy birthday.

Thanks guys. Today's birthday won't be too eventful though, because I had my party two days ago lol
But, in other life-related news, I had a birthday party with my new old friends, and the two people I wrote birthday poems for, whom I did not expect to appreciate my poems much, actually liked them a lot, which made me happy.
Also, our church is doing VBS with almost 600 kids, and it's hectic. I'm working in snacks as usual and it's crazy how much work we have to do. But it's really fun and a fulfilling way to spend my birthday.
I have successfully turned sixteen.
look who's back
back again
jonan's back
tell a friend!
Also, those two times I was online after I left were me remembering that I forgot to log out on my iPad and comp.
incidentally, bed, ned
Also, can't forget; I love you guys. You're still my best friends, and that won't change.

I seriously doubt there's anything in the bible about "don't roleplay" unless it's "don't do it on sunday".

There doesn't need to be. Confirmation and wisdom come in many ways, whether it be a message gleaned from a verse, or an impression from God upon the heart, or even a vision, which I experienced recently. "Don't roleplay" doesn't need to be in the Bible, but something like "God will no longer withhold this" or something similar might be.

regardless, bed, ned
see you all on 28 July for my birthday, ned

No, that believing that feelings you have are god speaking to you. The gist of what they said is that the serpent, as an animal, believed that instincts and feelings that happen within the moment or in reaction to something are god's way of commanding them. It then convinced Eve that this is true for humans as well, so she went with her feelings of wanting to eat the fruit in the belief that it was still following god's will even though he'd told her not to.
So basically their interpretation is that we shouldn't consider feelings to be messages or guidance from god, because we're above animals and that's how god communes his will to animals, not humans. Humans are to be stronger than their feelings.

So obviously that interpretation goes against what you said a few posts back about how you're treating a feeling of unease as guidance.

I'm wording this much lighter than I expected I would. That's good.

Unrest is actually used as a method by God to keep us from doing things we shouldn't. More accurately, a feeling of great apprehension or unrest is a clear call to seek God about a decision. It's not a decision-maker, but instead a "quick, look in God's Word first!" alarm. So if I feel unrest about entering the IC, then I should seek God for His answer.

It's how some jewish scholars interpreted the story of the serpent of eden and how it would basically say you're doing exactly what the lesson is not to do.

Taking steps little by little or something?

I'm honestly genuinely curious about this story that you speak of.
