Eve nodded, they were right it was a toss up. If they went bqck to the cave the people in town might die but if they went to town they were not totally prepared to fight the hellhound. "You are right, we can at least keep them safe and make them more protected. We can go back tomorrow if we survive the night. Let's move faster though, it's getting cold out here." She said shivering a bit.

"No that spear, the helmet nor the plainer shield have any magical qualities. They are made of good quality but are just normal everyday weaponry."

This is making me nuts. I have to ask. What does "Ittiably" mean? I can't find a definition but I have seen you use it a few times. Do you mean Irritably?

On the way back towards town.
Eve looked up and replied, "I had rather hoped we would be back before sunset. I have no idea how we would do that, although. I am taking a wild guess here but the cloak and the shield with the lion on it are both magical and may well be used to slay the beast. My only qualm is that we must find the sword. There HAS to be one. My guess is that is what is in that other room. So if at all possible we must try not to fight it tonight unless someone is going to stay behind and find that sword."

Valyna took Clay's partial transformation in stride. She had sensed what he was inside the bar. Valyna had dealt with them before. Werewolves were tough and easy enough to rile, but they were excellent lovers. All that primal energy surging through them took all of her inhibitions away.

Valyna was irritated with the little witch for interupting her fun. Seeing that Clay was about to kill her, she knew she had to act fast. She mumbled something and Clay was suspended in mid air with no time to spare and still gnashing his teeth and raging at the girl. "Hang on babe."

Turning to the girl she said,"I can only assume that was an accident? I'm pretty certain you didn't mean to get yourself killed." She offered Keeva a hand up and urged that she leave quickly.

Valyna turned and saw Alex there and she sensed she was trying to do something to Clay and she went on the defensive. She shoved her hand at her and it blocked her telepathy into Clay's mind. "You need to mind your own business, Alex isn't it? I got this."

Valyna spoke softly to Clay and and was able to calm him after several minutes. She smiled, "I guess when you've dated werewolves before you figure out how not to get killed."
