Wicked refused to come out of her room unless it was a life or death matter. Today she was sitting at her desk in her room. Kronus was helping Enyo pick up the slack in the office. Wicked was distraught and unsure but she decided that based on what she had seen they did care for one another. She continued writing, when she was done she reread it.

It read:

Donovan,

It is with deep heartache that I write to you. I wanted to let you know that something terrible has happened. During a bomb finding mission Shiver was relocating a bomb that would have killed several hundred kids and she was killed. As best we can figure she was teleporting the live bomb elsewhere when it blew up. There is no body to mourn over but we will be having a memorial for her. I know you both cared a lot about each other. I wish I were delivering better news.

She asked Kronus to deliver the letter to Donovan. Kronus nodded and hugged his wife. He had never known her to be so attached to anyone as she had been their daughter.

Nikki Hyatt

Nikki woke up to find Kyle gone. She frowned a little. Where did he go and why? She quickly got dressed and one of the guards said "Nikki? That new guy is messing with a bunch of walkers outside of the fence." Nikki grabbed her coat and sword and ran outside. She watched as she walked towards the fence. He wasn't in any real danger but why was he messing with them?

"Kyle? What are you doing?" Nikki asked him calmly. What she really wanted to know was why he would leave her bed to mess with walkers. True they had not had sex but there is a certain amount of closeness you get from sleeping next to someone or halfway on top of them.

Eden nodded at Kyle and turned to look at Cupid as he came in. "What don't you remember Cupid?" She looked at his appearance and became concerned. "What happened? Are you alright?" Eden pulled Cupid to the couch and urged him to sit down. She looked up at Kyle. "Do you have any idea what this is about?"

Eden got up and walked to Kyle to get rid of the body. "You should teleport it to a volcano and that way there would be no tracing it to the HQ. This one had nothing to do with us." Eden looked out into the hallway as Enyo came out of her room. "Someone has a new boyfriend and he is blue?" Enyo looked up and actually blushed. Eden thought it funny because Enyo never blushed. She was the most confident person Eden had ever met.

Eden smiled, "Enyo? Who is the blue guy?" Enyo's eyes sparkled as she said, "His name is Zuy." Enyo pulled Zuy out of the room by the hand. Eden saw him and thought Wow! When Kyle looked at her she said, "He is very tall."

Enyo laughed at Zuy's expression as he watched cartoons. He seemed to totally think they were real. Enyo crawled up onto the bed and began kissing his neck teasing him as she tugged lightly on his ear. "Zuy, are you really going to ignore me?" She whispered into his ear huskily. Enyo continued to tease him and when she started stripping and dropping clothing around the room she had his attention. She laughed as she was lifted into the air and kissed until she was breathless.

Eden smiled and reached down to take his hand in hers. "I love you too Kyle." She thought about what he said and she wondered. "What if we filled your other half with light? Could that turn Kieran's anger into something more ...pleasant? Could we try it and see?" Eden wondered if she could do it. In theory she could but in reality? She waited to see what he thought about it.

Eden looked at Kyle. She was immediately worried and sad and there was a feeling of helplessness too. "I don't really understand how you ended up with Kieran to begin with. Tell me how you ended up with a split personality and how you lose control over your own body. How do you know Kieran won't try to kill me?" She looked at him and his expression told her he had already worried about that.

Nikki slept well for the first time in weeks. She felt safe with Kyle and she cuddled up with him. She knew she just met him and she needed to wait a while before they got too close but she liked sleeping in his arms and decided that would suffice for a while. She needed to get her head on straight, not jump too fast this time. Nikki had decided they would get to know each other really well before they had sex.

Something was eating at her and she couldn't quite place it. She shrugged her shoulders and closed her eyes as she cuddled with Kyle.

Eden looks at him with a hurt expression. "Your BROTHER? You are worried about him hurting me? What about YOU hurting me? Who is going to stop that from happening? Kyle...this won't work if you are not totally honest with me. What is going on?"
