I wonder what would happen if the elves discovered that it was the PRK that bombed their stuff, and if they didn't escalate the Tin conflict into a full on war.
They would use this information to practically blackmail PRK since such action likely would hurt their relations with the other nations a lot.
PRK's ideologies clash with my nation and they're pretty much unpredictable.
This can give me the means to exert my influence over PRK a bit which could come quite handily in the future.

As for the escalation. Yllendthyr would do everything it could to avoid a war unless the odds swings to the elves' favor considerably.
If they can manage to get Avalia to participate in the war and if needed even force PRK then they might attempt this and can even do it while claiming moral high ground.
You actually have a better chance for peace if Yllendthyr doesn't realize PRK planned this whole incident.

Imperialism is capitalism on an international scale. Larger, wealthier and more powerful countries exploiting smaller ones for their resources and manpower. Instead of robbing individual people of their wealth and labor, you're robbing an entire nation.
Soviet propaganda also liked to refer to the West as imperialist to put them in a more negative light.
So yeah.

Also, the only problem with this RP is that due to fairness we have ended up with a whole bunch of roughly equal power nations, with a few exceptions.
I don't think we are that much equal and it's going to show when the actual RP starts.
Yllendthyr and Tin are for example shaping up here in the OOC as the two giants in politics.
Avalia has ridiculous amount of influence too. And if you look at his military, they're surprisingly advanced.
PRK would likely fit as the fourth such nation.
So we do have the classic "power blocs" here.

Also I mention this again because it's really ironic. I wanted Yllendthyr to be a modestly powerful nation which may even be absent from much of the world politics.
I was also supposed to be more domineering.
Developments in the OOC gradually changed this image to that I'm basically the UK now.
Well, going from India to UK sounds like a pretty nice progression, actually.

Well, it looks like Eisenkreis could flip to either side. I suppose we'll see how that goes once Tin starts talking to them IC.

I was originally thinking to have Tin get in good with the elves, but with the island conflict between us that's probably never happening. So at this point Tin has good reason to hold a grudge against every single nation in that triple alliance.
Yeah, I didn't plan to have hostile relations with Tin, either.
Basically I was at war with 3-4 nations in the past (Yamatai, Umbraisis and some NPC factions I leave ambigious for now) and happy to have bought a temporary peace with them.
If possible the elves wish to avoid war with another large nation at all costs.
They also have issues with the colonies so they have enough on their plate.
Worst case scenario is that while they're busy fighting Tin, Yamatai or Umriasis will kick the armistice out of the way and strike Yllendthyr in the back.
Elves might be more diplomatic in their approach but we still talk about a nation which continously expanded. They have enough enemies.
They're just also good at making friends.
If we are at religion, Yllendthyr's religion while resembles the cosmology from Tolkien's LotR/Silmaril and has structure similar to the Roman Catholic Church, they are actually surprisingly open. Basically they just shrug and accept deities from other religions as probably one of the countless Ainur who worked along with Eru Illuvatar to create the world. Preferably the said Ainur are refered under mistaken names. They aren't completely vocal about this opinion, though. And it's used more as an excuse to reduce religious tensions.
@Murtox

Well you already hate Tin because they're imperialist, plus you are with Yllendthyr. So Tin would love to steal your business, though whether Eisenkreis would even want to jump into this bucket of worms is another question.
That's not how it works, I suppose.
The only reason his nation has better relations with Yllendthyr because I don't burn rifle-armed rebels with flamethrower tanks.

Yo dawg, we herd you don't got tanks. Well, today be yo lucky day, cause we got tanks. We got tanks for days. You want tanks? Bam. You got tanks. Tell you what. Boom. Now you got tanks that carry tanks. Look at that. Now you can go to war, while you go to war.

In all seriousness, making a trade pact with Eisenkreis is not nearly as difficult as it is made out to be, you just really have to gain the trust of Marianna, and there happens to be a really easy way to do that. I'll give you a hint. Make friends with Csilla.

Would this count as a sign of friendship?

That is a thing that must happen for the PRK.

It would be particularly funny if that was our first plane a few years down the line, just skip the propellor age entirely
Yeah, that plane is just amazing. It's literally just a an engine and wings.
The pilot also happens to be sitting in one of the wings and right above the jet powerplant.
Then again, Lippisch is the inventor of the Me 163 Komet, AKA the rocket fighter which tended to blow up more times during takeoff than blowing up enemy planes.

Well, as you can see with the various colonies the elven navy is also considerable.
Albeit my ships are neglected in comparison to my air force and their primary duty is to escort transports.
They tend to be rather light in comparison to ironclads or other classic ships of the line.
All my ships have runaway pads to allow some types of aircraft to take off from them, though.
And there are motherships with their entire deck designed to launch aircraft.

The PRK primarily relies on their naval power (since they have very few land borders, and those are the nations they are friendliest with). We have one of the most powerful navies in the world with radar and sonar systems installed on every ship and amphibious landing craft akin to Higgins boats, but our propulsion systems are all still coal-based. Our air force and land military are mediocre at best.
The fastest jet fighter in the entire WW2 was powered by burning coal.

The former probably makes the most sense, which would mean that in the last hundred or so years we probably fought some minor wars with small nations in the region, but that's probably not quite what you're looking for.
Nah, I got the part with tanks sorts of covered.
Avalia and few other nations also seems to have quite advanced vehicles in general which could motivate me to start upgrading my military, too.
As for air combat, I have a cold war like situation with Umbraisis. Among others that nation has elves and we periodically fight in the skies. So the arms race is there, too.

Still, if any nation had a war in their recent history or other important events, then say so.
It'd help me and others a lot to make their stories fit more organically with the RP.

I do not have tanks...
I see.
Given your mecha-horses I thinkmaybe you can add a heavier walker unit to fill out that role.
Either that or just rely on your air power.
Your gyrocopters are almost a nightmare to WW2 era tanks.
