Terra Inreperta - Historical Alternate Reality/Fantasy NRP

Alrighty, after thinking for a while, I've decided on voicing my interest in this rp, been also thinking on what to make and I think I got pretty neat one. The idea being an Elven Empire ruling over chunks of the Caribbean Isles as well as a small bits of Mexico. How does that sound?

Funnily enough, that's kind of my nation idea, too.
I planned something like an uniquely developed nation of elves which actually did visit Europe before any of the great explorers.
As such Europe refers to America as Alfheim (Elf Land) or something. They may even have legends claiming the otherworld exists beyond the Ocean or something.
I just wanted to wait
Still, technically you made the claim first. I should've called it before and I forgot that. So it's yours.
But if you can choose a territory somewhat away from the Carribeans then I'd like that.Alternatively we can co-own the territory or have mine situated at a different island groups close to Europe.
Perhaps we can discuss the details via PM collab.

If the game has a co-GM then technically there's nothing we cannot keep discussing in the OOC.

Oh, no, we will have fairly advanced technology - the lower classes all live in tribal society, but the upper classes have state of the art organisation and organisation. Tribes are the lowest rung in the hierarchy of my country - Prince > Duke > Count > Cheif. There are also mercantile and guild influences.

Civilizations are build from the ground-up, not in reverse.
Granted I have yet to see what you mean so I refrain from judgment until then.

We already have a shocktrooper addition with Kyo.
If there's at least one "normal" Shocktroop left then two (three, four, however many are the actual number) make a good combination.
Also I realized that even though my sword sure can't slash through tank armor, it can bend or otherwise damage the gun barrel which is nearly as good.
Granted, it still requires me being lucky to be even getting near the tank.

Shocktroopers technically, but it doesn't matter. Mortar lances were a thing in VC1 if you want to go with that.
That said, we need shocktroopers. Badly.
Also, from now on all new Squad 4 members are to be Private only. We have a lot of PFCs.

Private First Class is generally an automatic title given after 4-6 months of armed service.
It can be also gained if you finished certain forms of education prior to joining or being drafted.
You could say it's just a different form of the Private which pays better.
Given we're militia you probably don't even get much of that. So consider it a "senior" title.

Lance Corporals is a special case in some armies which used that rank. It's generally given for enlisted men who temporarily assumed command position or for various "specialists" like medics, engineers and drivers. Unless they do have the Specialist rank which is in some armies the typical advancement from Lance Corporal.

In my case I was already part of the militia but I'm getting transfered.
Reason? I used forks and spoons as lethal weapons in combat and broke my SMG by throwing it at another soldier.
Kyo is kind of like a young Jack Churchil here.

@JozarinLooks okay so far.
Albeit it's slightly strange how so far our player-controlled European countries are backwards in development.
Granted, they are divided by the sea and the closest foreign neighbors are France and Spain.
I just overall find it kinda amusing.
At this rate maybe America becomes the "advanced power". The exact reverse of how it were in history.

Personally I think it's slightly haphazard and has a number of errors in it but regardless the post manages to get the point across.
At first I planned to make the Captain a tough prideful and maybe even a bit old styled commander while the XO is a sneaky business-like smirking merc.
It would've worked but I found the current Yvon/Cezard duo better.
Either way the Vulture's Claw is going to be an awesome ship.
An awesomely fucked up ship.
