@ChenzorMan, I wish I would've suggested the dwarven ruins, too.
It could've been an even more fun adventure. Granted, two players doing the same would be kind of weird.
on a different note, I don't remember what was the ultimate decision on my "bolters", AKA spring-operated bolt-thrower weapons.
My dwarves were supposed to hunt with something. Same with their culture about wearing armor nearly at all times.
Although I seriously doubt there would be any fight involved next. Or at least I hope.

You could probably have more luck with other RPs, though.
I think we have various fantasy themed NRPs at the moment and others that are semi-active.
Not trying to discourage you though.

Yeah, besides unless something happens tomorrow I already said that I'll write up my post by Friday.
It may be a bit rushed or underwhelming compare to the current two but at least we can get things started. It'd be nice to finish this fight before the summer ends.
Still, a number of key details about the actual battlefield would be nice.
@MelonHead@GreivousKhanDid I just miss some mention or we don't actually know the size of these "rings"?
I also asked Rilla this but perhaps you can help me with a partial answer.
Seemingly what's the limit you can create? How imaginative you could be?
Without a good size reference things are already difficult but I would rather not rewrite my post just because there was a limitation on these personal battlefields which I wasn't aware of.
Okay so I got most of these done... But I'm exhausted now and will finish the rest tomorrow. You guys alright with that?
Hope that was only a joke because technically we waited over a month.
Delaying it a bit would not hurt.

As for special event...well, shoot me I don't know.
Maybe meeting with the Ogres from the camp?
I certainly don't wish to meet with my dwarves' god.
Yngvi is kinda like the Abrahamic God to them. Their faith depends entirely on belief instead of there existing direct proofs on the actions of gods.
You could say that their religion is "fake" in thi sense, an artifice compared to the typical fantasy religion with physical gods doing divine wonders.
Albeit if there's direct proof of a god then technically that's no longer a true belief.
That's why I don't want my dwarves to meet Yngvi, because in likeiyhood he either doesn't exist or its actions are strictly obscure and subtle.

You can't kindly ask me to do anything after ignoring the fact that you're wasting everyone's time and instead asserting I need to get a life instead, as if that is in anyway constructive. You should probably work on being a little less personal if your intent is to debate everything.

Everyone is expected to post as soon as possible, there was no established post order, LeeRoy at least has the excuse of saying he wasn't going to be present for two days, I don't know why you -must- be last as if you're trying to gain some sort of terrain advantage by seeing what everyone else manifests or what, honestly I don't give a crap, just post and stop making shit excuses.

And frankly, if you're so busy you can't spend twenty minutes every other day making a post, don't sign up for an RP.
Um, if you haven't realized it yet your responses are all aggressive so I really can't see upon what grounds you try to give a lecture on "being personal". You're doing that pretty much the whole time and to a greater extend.
If I stung a bad chord with my "get a life" response then pardon me. But I could have a number of occasions to be offended by your responses myself.
I declared my intent even before any one of us made an intro post in the RP. I even offered a solution how could I post earlier to speed things up while keeping my intended posting order but that was rejected. I don't need an excuse.
If you are wondering things didn't went as I planned weeks before because recently I volunteered to help out my relatives. That effectively means aside lunch break and evenings I don't really have much free time for a while.
Yeah, 20 minutes in a day is no problem. Albeit I doubt many of us spend only just that for creating a post.
I'm certain you didn't spend 20 minutes on writing your intro. If you did? Congratulations! You are a highly inspired author and great speed-writer whose native language is English. If I want to be really sarcastic it can be said that's the upper 1% of RPers.
While I don't type particularly slow English is only my second language and I tend be sitting on with multiple ideas and only truly picking one in the last minute.
I never calculated how long it takes me to write a post and it depends on various factors but all included it's probably close to a hour if not several times of that (in split intervals).
So I would advise you to think things through a bit before you start acting selfish.
BTW, 3 days have passed. I just realized this.
No idea what happens when the next in line doesn't make their intro post in 3 days after the previous poster.
But I guess that means I would need to work on my post now.
Expect it tommorrow. It's prettty late here and I have to work till afternoon.
Hopefully @Rilla can answer my question till then.
If not, I'll try to come up with something tame.
No, I'm going to get bored of a fight which moves that slowly and stop wasting my time and creative energy on it. Once again you misunderstand an incredibly simple concept and go on a three paragraph rant about it. If you want to waste everyone's time that's up to you, I'll just kill you off quickly so you're less of an irritation.
?
If you have problems to comprehend my short 3 "paragraphs" here then how can I expect you to have the attention span for the RP?
What you say here is rather counterintuitive.
Seriously, the one who's in a misunderstanding appears to be you. I would kindly ask you to read my previous response again.
Also if you want something to argue then make your point instead of giving a vague reference.

There's no established posting order and LeeRoy said he was going to be away for two days, so as far as I'm concerned we have been waiting for you. Now we have to wait additional time for your post after LeeRoy eventually gets to it, where-as if you'd done it in the two days he said he wouldn't be posting we could get on with things immediately.

Rilla, enforce a post limit or something, three days is going to be too long and drawn out for a 1v1v1v1, I'm going to get fucking bored if I have to wait conceivably nine days for my next post.
And then I'd be the third in line instead of the fourth.
I asked Rilla explicitly that we can decide the posting order regardless the order of our intros.
The answer was no. You reap the results here.

Also get a life or play other RPs while you are at it.
9 days may be long but that's the worst case scenario.
3 days per person is a fair interval because not everybody focuses all their free time on this.
Actually, 3 days is punishingly short if somebody is sudenly away for a week or something along these lines would happen.
Some kind of "vacation" option should be included.
Yup, you may hate that but this game isn't all about you. We waited for a month or so already.
And this option is only a possibility for the worst case.

Anyways, if you are so afraid of the delays then just get rid of the rigid posting order.
I played in RPs where 5-6 people were fighting each other and there were no teams or such aside from temporarily ganging upon people
There was no strict posting order aside from being reasonable and wait until the other combatants post their reactions.
This way you get the same 3 day time limit as in other matches as the clock universally ticks for everyone.
So instead of a posting order a simple "don't get ahead" kind of restriction would do.
All players should have equal number of posts or close to it. But otherwise it shouldn't matter who gets to post first or last.
Would this suggestion be acceptable?

I am kind of waiting for LeeRoy because I said I'm going to be the last.
That and being preoccupied with other things so glad it's technically not me you are waiting for.

@RillaSo we can imagine whatever environment we want for one of the rings, right?
That's convenient but I wonder what are the exact limits on that?
Gotta clarify it.
A supremely boring post made, but it is late AF and I wanted to get things squared away before I write something actually interesting tomorrow. People near me, if they want to be discovered by the Exploration Fleet, should let me know, and we can get our collaborate on.

Also, how are we going to do the deciphering of alien languages?
I have universal translators with a galaxy's wealth of linguistic and other communication knowledge.
With some effort I may even convert the Bitumens' smell-communication to intelligible human words.

@Willy VerebSo, I'll leave it to you whether or not your nation detects the tachyon sensor burst (hopefully I wrote that well enough to make sense in the post). Just thought it might be an interesting way to say "hello."
Well, it'll probably take a good while to reach me but I'll react when it's appropriate, yes.
