Welcome back to the Guild, Jin!

You're stuck here now!
Roleplays on the left, bathrooms and interest checks on the right, discussions straight ahead, and the exit is directly behind!
Unfortunately, if you try to leave, we'll have to drug you, truss you up by your toes and and hang you in the middle of the Pit of Villians until you decide you'll roleplay again.

@Hael
You say plasma and warp are the main weaponry/travel type things. However... there are many things other than that.

Plasma is built up, contained, and then released in a sudden burst. It'd be 'slower' than lasers, faster than Mass Accelerator Cannons (depending on the type of plasma burst), sure, but it's not exactly the best weapon out there.

For example, particle accelerators could be weaponized to fire streams of near-light-speed particles of various kinds, or even antimatter. And antimatter is very real, even today, if expensive to create. The effect would be your ship sort of eroding under a faintly glowing stream, with whatever it's hitting being lit up rather spectacularly as the antimatter annihilates your armor (and itself). It wouldn't be as effective against shields, of course, depending on what the shield is made of.

And drones/missiles can still play a large part. Even torpedoes- sublight torpedoes. I've always had a habit of having a nation that has a great deal of normal torpedoes, of various sorts, and a couple larger 'sublight' torpedoes. There's nothing special about them, except accelerating so fast that it'd appear to hit instantly, if within a certain range. And, of course, they'd be very, very, very dense. High mass + high speeds = very high impact force. A railgun, today, wouldn't need any warheads, because the impact of its round would be enough to create an equally large explosion as our best high explosives.

Drones can be launched, and can drift on ballistic courses, completely silent, until they open up on an enemy with missiles or somesuch. Likewise, missiles can be sent on ballistic courses too. Given adequate countermeasures, they'd be invisible- too small to be picked up as anything more than debris on radar, too stealthy for any emissions to be detected.

So?
What are your thoughts on all of that?
Plasma can be good, but it has many, many drawbacks. A nuclear weapon impacting your shield might even be enough of an EMP to collapse a plasma weapons' containment shield, and release any weapons' plasma that were about to fire- sorta like a gun self-destructing.

I'm eating a rather laaaarge bowl of mac'n'cheese
and still tired D:
@SouffleGirl123@Fabricant451

And here I am, wanting to be in bed by 11:30.
I used to be able to stay up 'till 2 and be fine in the morning, but now... hell, I'm tired enough as it is x.x
So does this mean I can use Velox to absolutely woo every girl available capture/kidnap more ladies?
@WilsonTurner I mean, I intend to. But I intend to when it isn't 1:30 in the morning and I'm trying to get my ass back to sleep

But it's only 1:33 am!
You have tiiiiime!
...sorta.
Bee stared evenly at Evie, having never been more serious in his life. Immediately, of course, he wondered if he'd be so serious whenever, if ever, he proposed to someone, but he shoved that random thought out of his head and continued on the more pressing topic at hand.

"Evie, I wish I was. Dead serious, I am. Look."

Carefully, he extracted his phone from his pocket, actually using a napkin to prevent him from touching anything conductive on the surface. He held it up to face her, and pressed the menu button- the screen lit up, requesting a password. The top read that there were several notifications, 78% of battery, and the current time and date. Then, with some amount of care- he wasn't actively sucking energy out of anything, but wanted to be sure- he managed to pop the battery out of the back of his phone.

He held up the battery, and gently tried to focus on it. He wanted to drain it, not ruin it, after all. After a moment, he felt a certain... resistance fade away, and he could feel the energy fooding through his fingers and to his hand, arm, body.

Once he couldn't feel any more, he carefully replaced the battery, making sure it snapped in properly, and then turned the phone towards her.

Being very sure of himself, he pressed the button.

Nothing happened.

"I'm pretty sure I didn't use a magic trick to switch the battery. About 98% plus 2% sure."

So hurry up and post.

Eliesmier the White
"White Death"

Name:
Eliesmier

Race:
A White Nature Dragon

Gender:
Male

Age:
Born roughly four thousand years ago, back when man still thought slingshots were new.

Personality:
Loopy, but thoughtful and friendly. Also quite protective, and can be very loving- he's one of the beasts that tend to nature itself, after all.

Summarized Biography:
Born to a white dragon and a silver dragoness (Female dragons- dragonesses- are usually green, but can occasionally/rarely be bluish-green, or silver), he grew up in a rather large mountain range far to the North. His life begun as many dragons of his time did- rather sheltered, rather safe, with naught but nature and its occupants. Despite the groups of orcs or goblins that occasionally passed through, the dragons in the area were peaceful, and left alone.

During Eliesmier's restless phase- after his first fire, before his wings grow- he traveled about like many a drake to find a place to settle and maybe a mate to eventually woo. Having been the first drake to find the ley point residing with a lonely mountain in a rather green forest/plains region, he took up his post here, over three thousand and five hundred years ago. Shortly thereafter, he grew his wings, and 'ruled' the land.

In his time, he watched three empires rise and fall around the region- whether foreign or based around the lonely mountain- and many villages grow, decay, or lay still as if unchanging through time. As other dragons became corrupt, he began forcing the hominids living his lands to give sacrifices, in order to beat off the dragons that might come to steal his ley point, and his life, maybe.

It is here that his latest sacrifice turns out to be something special, and he sets off to take advantage of it, with his new friend!

He's challenging her to keep her mouth shut.

Either she does and gets fifty bucks
Or she doesn't, and will probably bother Phil to the point of either physically lashing out, or using everything he knows to try and hurt her.
