Bio

I have been writing since I was 17 years old. I am now 33 and I've been enjoying life. Writing is a passion just as reading is. My favorite genre is murder/mystery, but I love fantasy and I love action/adventure. I have published a collection of short stories that can be found on Apple Books, Barnes and Nobles, and Kindle. I have a trilogy in the works, the first part scheduled for release this year.

and watch as Marcus slowly breaks down his walls and they end up dating..... at least he doesn't have to worry about Marcus cheating on him or stabbing him in the back. If Marcus is in a relationship, he's in it for the long haul, through thick and thin, all that good stuff.
Some people are dealing with finals

I'm still here but let's get the GM and others a little more time.

Damarquis could only laugh at Ronnie's response to his flirting. In the back of his mind, he knew there was never a chance anything would happen between them. Ronnie was straight and Damarquis was gay. Even if by some miracle something happened between them, Marcus wouldn't know if it were real or if Ronnie was simply toying with him. It was hard to read him, even though he was a pretty straightforward guy. If only Ronnie knew that Damarquis had a crush on him since high Freshman year, but hadn't built up the will to tell him for fear of ruining their friendship. Still, there was another he had a crush on, two crushes and not a single one had he told about his desires. Instead, he opted for friendship, believing it to be the way to overcome his inner feelings, and in truth, it had worked, that is until he saw them again.

He put on a charade to mask it, and it worked. He was thankful for his skills and was willing to go throughout life without telling a single soul about his secret. As Eva continued to rest her arm on his shoulder, he wondered if she was getting tired or sore from her arm being elevated for so long. He noticed Penny arrive and was thrilled to spend more time with her. Out of all his friends, he felt that he wasn't as close to her as he wanted to be, but even still he was happy to see her. Everyone was conversing and he didn't interject much during the conversation, a simple yes or no, and perhaps a bit of flare here and there made them aware of his presence, but he still remained in the back of the conversation which wasn't like him at all. Then it hit him. Brandon and Amelia were missing. Just as Alex suggested a few fun things for them to do, he knew that Alex was the last person who actually wanted to partake in the games he had suggested, but Marcus was all for it.

"Ya know I think all of those are good ideas," he said throwing a wink in Alex's direction. "Definitely spin the bottle," he added before Eva began to speak. As the group continued to talk, Damarquis began to wonder where Amelia and Brandon were. Then he heard Brandon's voice followed by a light punch in his arm. "POOH BEAR!" Damarquis screeched as he wrapped his arms around Brandon's neck squeezing as tight as he could before letting him go. "Well you know how I do," Marcus stated with a smirk as he tooted his own horn regarding the graduation speech, "no hard feelings right Pooh Bear?" He asked after Brandon told them where Piglet and Amelia were. He was excited to get things started and knew this would be more memorable for each of them than they thought.

"Wait a minute, where the hell is Fashionista?" He asked. That was his nickname for Jocelyn. She was his fashion sister and he enjoyed talking trends with her. He noticed Bunny and Piglet walking by the foyer and smiled as she waved. She was so innocent and he returned the wave.
I don't know why ya'll insist on getting Brandon into trouble, you know Damarquis is going to bring him out of his shell, he and Amelia... It's on now.... ;)

He looked around the large entryway, or foyer as most called it. The inside of the mansion was beautifully decorated. It was like walking back in time and he loved every bit of it. A single butler came and grabbed his luggage and carried it off, hopefully to his room. He looked around touching various pieces of artwork and pictures. Elizabeth was a beautiful girl, and he was thankful to be her friend. His attention was drawn to a particular picture of Elizabeth when he heard a familiar voice. Ronnie came strolling in, telling him that he'd thought he'd be in Japan to which Damarquis simply smiled while being embraced by the hunk.

"Oh Ronnie don't do that to me boo," Damarquis stated, "you know I love being held by a strong man," he flirted seeing Alex walk in behind Ronnie. When Ronnie released him from the brotherly embrace, Damarquis smirked and threw a wink at him. Then Geneva or Eva as she was known by everyone spoke from the kitchen, peeking around to see what he was wearing.

"Geneva, you know you're always second best dear," Damarquis stated in a teasing manner, "I always slay honey," he added as she came over to him and placed her arm on his shoulder. She asked him about Japan as well and he smiled. "I'd rather spend time with you guys, I mean reality is when it's time for all of us to go off to college we won't really have time to visit will we?" Damarquis said with a sigh, but he kept the approachable smile he was known for. "All I know is I came to have fun, and that's what I'm going to do, and I brought a surprise for everyone."

"Life is what you make it, so make it GRAND!"

Damarquis rolled over in his bed as the sun peaked through the curtains, a few rays managing to strike his face. He groaned as he reached down and pulled the covers over his face. It felt as if he had just fallen asleep, and now it was time to get up, get dressed and go spend a lot of days with his friends. He hoped Elizabeth had a lot planned for them, but he was sure whatever would happen would be great. His alarm clock caused him to finally rise from the bed and sit on the edge of it. He slammed his fist down on the clock causing it to emit a screech followed by silence. He groaned knowing he’d have to replace the expensive clock. It was a gift from his ex-boyfriend.

Sighing, he rose and walked into his large bathroom, stripping and throwing his underwear into the hamper in the bathroom. He didn’t wear anything else aside from underwear when he slept. He waited for the water to heat up before he hopped in, and after a good ten minute shower, he felt refreshed and rejuvenated. He brushed his teeth, combed his dark blue tipped hair and shaved his body before looking at his nude form in the mirror. He was quite proud of his body. He didn’t go to the gym much, but he took care of his appearance. He wasn’t conceited, but he enjoyed what he saw and it put a smirk on his face. He knew exactly what outfit he would wear.

After he got dressed, he grabbed his car keys and wallet. He took one more look at the outfit and smiled. Elizabeth would have a fit, and Amelia would probably turn as red as a boiled lobster but he would enjoy their reactions nonetheless. Elizabeth lived about twenty or so minutes from his house and he was thankful for the graduation gift his parents got him. The mustang sat in the curved driveway in front of the extremely large house his father had built. Five bedroom, five and a half bathrooms, a theater, a game room, a beautiful kitchen, a pool house for guests, and a large pool, all gated in. He was used to this lifestyle, but he didn’t take it for granted. He was very appreciative and it showed. He had packed his clothes the night before and grabbed his two luggage bags and his Christian Louboutin purse before heading out the door. The alarm system activated with a press of a button.

Pulling out onto the highway, he reminisced on the great times he had in high school with them all. He reached down and grabbed his phone, sending a few messages to other people wishing him a safe and happy summer, and congratulating him on his acceptance letter. He was happy, and it showed on his face as he pulled into Elizabeth’s estate. Her mansion was beautiful, reminding him of an old era and he loved it, much different than the technology infused great house he lived in. He parked and got out of his car. His bag was looped over his forearm and his keys danged from the open top pocket revealing a golden colored puff ball. His phone was in the same hand the bag hung on, while his other hand rolled the two luggage pieces, one attached to the top of the other.

He was excited, he was ready to see them, and when he was let into the house, he immediately shouted, “THE DIVA IS HERE!”
@JBRam2002I mean if you want we can go that route with him barely beating out Brandon for Valedictorian.

Would the flirting work though between them? Or would you rather it not occur? I'm just asking cause I don't want to put anyone in any type of situation they aren't comfortable in.

@HylianRoseThank you so much I will do so as soon as possible.

@HylianRose@JBRam2002 I hope this is acceptable.
