So my character is a tutor for piano lessons. If anyone has a character whose parents would make them take lessons or better yet has a little brother or sister that would be forced to take them let me know and we can work on getting a small back story together. So far my character has openings every day of the week and would usually have two openings per day (One right after school and one right before or after dinner.)

The group was smaller than Devin had thought it would be. Through the rumor mill he expected a class of about 10 or so people. Then he remembered that while Professor Harsiesi was popular he taught an unpopular course. Most must have thought their summer was more important than a school trip for History of Magic. Still he wouldn't have cared if he was the only student. He was in Egypt and he feel how excited he was.

After the welcoming speech and the Disney exit by Professor Harsiesi the only thing left was the first assignment. Moving closer to look at the map Devin tried a few revealing spells and came up empty. "If we are in need of a code word I am drawing a blank..." He muttered to the group. He then heard Dag start talking about seeing the market and going with Zuri. "Before you leave I think you should make a copy of the map or something."

Devin then gave the map another look over. It seemed pretty straight forward. After the shop they would take a right and then a few more turns would have them at the hotel. Hopefully there wasn't too much crazy at the market for them to get lost in. Looking around at the team he was partnered with he gave a half smile that matched his tone. "So who wants to lead the way?" He then realized not everyone knew him as there was a student from another school with them.

"Hey my name is Devin." He said extending a hand to Killian.

Considering the role play is nearing the..... 6 am timeline area I think you be good. Though if a time skip does pull everyone to the class that is something I will need to know as well. I figured something along the lines of "a look at the time told character X they needed to get ready. A XXX, XXXX, and XXXXX later they were ready and out the door" sort of deal would happen :)

Arthur has a dream that he would become a professional song writer. He sees music as the only pure conversation both blind and seeing people can have as it is completely an audio language. He writes a song and will preform it for his YouTube channel and while it has only gotten him a few small jobs writing gingles he hopes to go to college for music and work for a label.

Being given a pity shortcut. More than anything Arthur is scared that he will be given something because he is blind that should have gone to someone else. His first love is music and if someone better were to miss out because he was given it he would see that as a disservice to music and would be crushed.

Arthur was a miracle baby according to his family. They said that because news of him came the day after his parents decided they wanted to have another kid. All this told Arthur was that while unplanned he was at least loved. The news about his blindness was hard for the family to understand, but by the time Arthur arrived the worry had melted away. They welcomed their youngest son with love and a willingness to never quit.

By the time he was old enough to understand the world around him Arthur understand how it was different for him. The obvious parts he was familiar with; but, when he started to interact with people he realized how different it would be . People shouting at him. Others would talk to him like he was five. The ones who he actually respected were the ones who tried and completely failed. At least they treated him as something other than glass

Navigating this battleground was easier with his older brother. 10 years older than him meant Danny was a hero to Arthur. Danny was now in university after finishing an Air Force enlistments and was getting his masters in engineering. The thing that made Arthur so thankful for Danny was how real his brother was with him. He would tell Arthur what other people wouldn't. Danny would tell Arthur the girl looking at him from across the restaurant was laughing was because he had food on his shirt. While growing up Arthur owed so much to Danny.

By the time middle school and hormones were his daily battle he had found passions and patience thanks to his family. His passion was easy enough to find while the patience was a necessity. At times there was bullying, but for the most part it was the lack of bullying that he noticed more. People wouldn't 'bully the blind kid.' as they said. Sometimes a prank would be played on him and Arthur would feel like a regular member of the class. But the thunderous punishments the faculty would throw down didn't teach the kids not to play pranks. It taught them not to play pranks on Arthur.

Arthur Finally coming into his own in high school the young musician has learned to navigate the world by himself. The addition of a seeing eye dog named Ray has been instrumental in his more upbeat personality and social life. After all who doesn't love a guy with a dog? The new year is bringing many things to the student body, and Arthur wasn't about to miss a single second.

Arthur can use a cane to get where he needs to go; however, since his second year of high school he has upgraded to having a seeing eye dog. The dogs name is Ray who is named after Ray Charles.

His favorite food is of course pizza.
