A Little Lore for the Lost Lambs:

P.O.I.R:

The Paranormal and Occult Investigation and Research club, or POIR for short, is a club in Hideki High that's been around for a while now. The students who first joined the club were under the misguided assumption that it would do things like try to summon ghosts, perform spooky rituals and chants, search for boogeymen and play with one of those ouijo-boards. You can thus imagine the let-down and feelings of dashed hopes when they soon found that the current President of the club had no interest at all in such things. Rather, all the President seemed to do was read books on the matter, study trinkets she had somehow acquired and made notes and jotted down memos .- in short, the Club was exactly what its name implied - a place to research and learn about the occult and supernatural.

Most members, after a brief period of time, left the club by resigning. Some were too lazy to do even that and simply stopped coming at all, resulting in the club still having members, albeit mostly ghost-members. Now only a handful of club members remain, including the president. However, with the arrival of the new transfer student to their class, something unexpected occurred. The usually terse President actually went out of her way to invite the newcomer to the club, something of the utmost rarity. Even though the new classmate ultimately refused to join, the President persisted in talking with her, eventually becoming close friends.

To others, the POIR clubroom is a mostly a dull and eerie place, with shelves and books and knick-knacks of strange design and origin, but it's also a treasure-trove of knowledge. In addition, the few club-members that remain know thatwhile sheseems distant and self-absorbed, the President is genuinely a good person and is actually passionate about what she does, she just doesn't show it very much... Or say it very often...

Membership:

If your character is a member of the POIR Club, you will start with the following minor additions:

- Slightly closer relationship with Shizune
- Closer relationship with the Club President (my character)
- Closer relation with any other Player Characters also in the club
- Free access to the POIR Club-room

Finisher:

You are not obligated to join the POIR. This group is merely a group that exists for background purposes and flavor. You are always free to determine your relationships with other characters on your own.
