There, posted and edited to include Liriia's post. Now to work on Shiori's relations.
Day 0, Class 2-4's classroom.

Blackness. It was all around her, in her eyes, in her ears, in her mind... Until something, something far away called out. At first it was just a whisper, a faraway droplet of water breaking the surface of a massive lake... But gradually it grew, until it was so close you could feel it on the very nape of your neck.

And so, Shiori Mizuhana's eyes shot wide open, and she sat up with a start.

"... Yoshi...da... san...?" Wha...?" She spoke slowly and as if having just woken from a deep sleep, her mind not entirely clear or focused yet.

However, there was no time to be a sleepy-head here. Giving but a brief glance around the strange and alien room that was vaguely remeniscent of their classroom, it dawned upon the girl that something was terribly, terribly wrong here. The fact that some of her fellow classmates and club-members were still lying sprawled on the dusty and sticky floor was another cause for immediate alarm. Just what had happened here? Pushing herself up and taking a moment to stand and take in the scene, Mizuhana's eyes soon caught sight of the outside through one of the classroom windows, and her eyes stared in stupified surprise, confusion and momentary fright. What was this?!

The new transfer student, Shizune Yoshida, seemed to be trying to wake everyuone up in a panic, while at the same time some strangely pleasant music was getting louder and louder. Odd... There was music, but the lights in the classroom weren't working, and that would mean that the PA system and loudspeakers wouldn't be functioning either, so how was music... Well, it didn't matter, now did it? Yoshida-san was frantically trying to get everyone up, and that was a good idea and a reasonable thing to start with.

Walking over with firm steps, she knelt down next to fellow club-member, Shiba, and raised a gloved hand.

"How long do you plan on sleeping, Shiba-kun?" She asked, while giving the boy a firm slap across the face, the sound would have ecxhoed through the classroom had it not been for the violin music which was drowning out most everything but the voices of Shizune and herself.

"Everyone, wake up!" She called with her calm voice, moving to Resan-san next, and giving the kind and bubbly girl a swift slap across the cheek as well.

She then turned her head to Yoshida, seeing as she had been the person who first woke up and was the one who was frantically trying to wake everyone else.

"Yoshida-san, just what's going on here? What's happened?" As usual, her tone and voice was calm and collected rather than panicked or demanding as surely some others' would be once they awoke.

She then heard another voice, a voice belonging to Kabetake-san. Another classmate seemed to have woken up, what a relief. But the unsettling feeling that the music was getting louder and closer was still pressing dow on Mizuhana and she turned her attention back to trying to help Yoshida get the others up and on their feet.
I'll write up Shiori's relations after I make my IC post~

Now to go and be totes freak'd out in-character :3
That's the spirit! Ambition, ho!

Now to go make lunchies while waiting for the thread to become active again - seems we all got very different time-schedules.
Rarity, just use your horn to cast a "Protection from Shyness"-spell (50ft radius), and you'll be fine! We'd be happy to have you - especially since there's only like, 2 spots left open. :o

@Liriia: Awww... I thought it was going to be one of those "relationship-maps" with arrows and stuff that pointed to the portraits of each charaacter. xD
Still a fun read though. :3

I feel as though these characters would be fun to play in a slice of life RP as well: A group of teens in a mystery and occult club work out the strange happenings which appear around school. Me thinks a spin off is in order (; (jkjk)Also, I'm going to make a character relations chart in a few moments, perhaps it'll help organize everyone's thoughts on the matter of friendships and stuff.

Let's try and get the first series up before we start worrying about spin-offs or sequels. ;)

And yay, charts and graphs are funsies~

I can already see Reiko and Shiori staring each other down... xD

"..."
"You're too quiet!"
"... You're too loud."
"You got mean eyes!"
".. You carry around a shinai like a delinquent."
"Grrrrr! I CHALLENGE YOU!"
".... *sigh*"
Lol, reminds me of that show with the delinquent and his buddy.

"Are you getting shorter...?"
"There's no way that could happen, aniki!"
".... Yeah...."
UnendingSquire, methinks you got yer measurements wrong there on the height... I mean, Shiori is taller than Reiko in centimeters, but not in feet & inches? Wat? xD
If she's 5'7" tall, she'd be 170cm, acording to this. :o

Now to actually read the CS.
Is that a veiled compliment at my newly submitted character? Or you just trying to butter up the general populace, hmm~? ;)
Oooh, UnedningVampire! I was worried you weren't gonna come along for the ride... Especially since you have excellent taste.

EDIT:
And here's mah sheetz, bois'n gurlz
Appearance: Text: Shiori is a reasonably tall girl, with a rather slender and slim build. She has very long, violet-white hair, with long sidelocks on either side of her face, blunt bangs and she keeps one part of it braided with the help of a small ribbon. Her eyes are a very pale violet or pale blue color, and have a distinct and sharp edge to them, giving her a very piercing (some would say harsh or intimidating) gaze. Most of the time she wears either a slight frown or a netural face, and when she smiles it's very rare, very brief and very subtle. Due to her light weight and slender physique, Shiori also appears to be the type who looks slimmer in clothes, despite having an above average bust-size. Her skin is fair, a result from spending a lot of time indoors, but she takes good care of herself, making sure to brush and keep her hair tidy, as well as wash herself and stave off blemishes to her skin. That said, Shiori always wears a pair of gloves on her hands - and nobody in her class has ever seen her without them.,

Height: 167 cm (5'6")
Weight: 48 kg (105 lbs)
Hair Color: Violet-white
Eye Color: Violet-pale blue
Skin-tone: Fair
B/W/H: 82/55/81 cm (33/22/32.5 in)
Clothes: Typically wears boots, a pair of dark gloves, a dark Jacket, a miniskirt, a necktie as well as a ribbon in her hair. This is worn together with or over her Hideki High school uniform.

Name: Shiori Mizuhana // Mizuhana Shiori

Age: 17

History: She is the only-child of a professor and teacher at Tokyo University (her father) and a retired journality turned novelist (her mother).. She had a farily well-off life, without having to worry about money or living in squalor, but her parents were often-times busy and the girl was left mostly to her own devices. Having to take care of herself, as well as find entertainment and things to do on her own, she would spend much time sifting through old books and magazines as a young child. Perhaps it was from this, reading one too many horror novel or gossip magazine, taht sparked her interest in the supernatural. Though, of course, her inquisitive nature was also shared by her father, and it's fully possible that he had rubbed off on her in that regard.

Her school life was also fairly normal, getting good grades and doing her homework and projects in a dutiful and proper fashion. She didn't have many friends to speak of though, partly due to the fact that the other children often found or thought she was giving them the 'evil eye', and partly because she didn't really say or talk too much. Of course, Shiori couldn't help how her eyes looked and it wasn't that she was unsociable or unfriendly, she just didn't share the same interests as the other kids her age and thus prefered to keep to her own things. After graduating Junior High, she and her family moved, and she ended up enrolling at Hideki High as a junior.

After realizing that there was no Occult Club at the school, she promptly went ahead and founded one - even though recruitment of the initial members took a bit of work. As stated in the background of the POIR though, most people who joined or were interested in the club quickly left or stopped coming, as Shiori wasn't interested in the actual performing of occult and magical rites or such, but rather the studying and learning about them. Naturally, she had things like wards and amulets made, stashed throughout the clubroom, as well as trinkets and items of mystical or supposed magical origin - but there was never any attempt at summoning the dead or trying to cast spells from a grimoire or such.

She, eventually, managed to get a few friends though and with the arrival of a certain mysterious transfer-student, Shiori has become a bit more sociable lately. It should also be noted that, since she comes froma fairly well-off family, Shiori has taken many supplementary and extra classes outside of school, including things like CPR and First Aid-training, a third language, calligraphy and more.

Personality: Quiet, mysterious and hard-working are all words that describe this young woman. When working, be it on her interests or her school work, she always does her best and works hard to ensure that she achieves the best possible results. Her penchant for not talking to others much, or when she does talk not saying too much, has led some to feel taht she is unsociable or distant, even though that isn't entirely accurate. Shiori simply doesn't like idle chit-chat and prefers things to have a purpose and point, since everything else is a distraction and is time that could be used better or on more important matters.

She is a very open-minded person though, and does not dismiss possibilities or things just because they cannot be explained. Even though she is methodical and rational, often following logic over gut-feelings and emotion, she is not one for making hasty, one-sided assumptions or statements. She prefers to look at things from mulitple angles before deciding where she stands on a subject, and she finds people who hastily come to conclusions, or only look at things from one direction to be quite foolish.

Due to her quiet and few-worded persona, she is not a person to mince words, and speaks plainly and to-the-point. She does speak with a modest amount of politeness though, even if it's minimal. Shiori is a firm believer that the Paranormal and supernatural exist, but does not blindly believe in everything - in fact, that is one of the main reasons she founded the POIR, to filter out the gossip and rumors and hoaxes from the real deals.

Finally, despite seeming cold and terse, Shiori actually is rather nice - especially to those who manage to get along with her and come to understand how to interact with her. She has been known to treat club-members to lunch, bring them drinks and help her classmates with homework and projects when they've gotten stuck or requested her assistance. That said, she is not a person who lets herself get used and doesn't mindlessly offer her hand to just anyone every tie they ask for it. She is a strong, smart, independant and decisive young lady with skin on her nose, a clam and collected demeanor, as well as - thanks to reading ghost stories and the like since she was small - courage.

Quirks:
- When sitting, she will place her elbow on any surface infront of her and rest her chin on the top of her hands.
- Sighs in an exasperated way before speaking to someone who just said something - in her eyes - foolish to her.
- Has very weak/subtle/limited/vague facial expressions

Likes:
+ Iced coffee
+ Books and litterature on the Paranormal and Occult
+ Investigating and researching the Paranormal and Occult
+ Rationality
+ Peace and quiet

Dislikes:
- Sour foods/drinks
- Narrowmindedness
- Overly emotional people
- Arrogance/conceit
- Being interupted while working/studying

Other:
- Shiori is very perceptive, both when it comes to details and reading the mood or atomsphere of a situation. A trait earned by carefully watching others for a long time.
- She is also smart and clever, perhaps not on the level of a genius but well above any average person.
- She has never owned a pet, something she laments deep down as she doesn't have siblings either and can at times cause her loneliness since her parents are rarely at home.
