I would die for a Charlie Puth and Lewis Capaldi collab song.

My therapist mentioned referring me to a psychiatrist for anxiety medication, then at the next appt. said it wasn't a good idea as it doesn't the issue. I would've loved the temporary relief though...

Started calisthenics today; not to lose weight, but to get toned and get a little stronger. It's a 5x/week type deal ChatGPT drew out for me, but my snap, crackle, pop knees sure do love to complain..

That's awesome! Edibles don't do anything for me, maybe cause I'm a big guy I dunno.

And I'm the opposite, being a small woman and all. Plus I had the whole damn thing.

As long as you're fine with it and you're not hurting anyone along the way...it is YOUR life...live it.

I remember every detail and honestly, I'm good. It was a one-time thing because I'm a crazy curious person.
I once ate a whole edible brownie. Let's just say I had an existential crisis, I was freaking out for absolutely no reason, time slowed and an hour felt like half a day, I cried my eyes out, and I went to bed at like 6 pm to try to make it go away. The next morning some of paranoia lingered. Yep, never again.
A few months ago, I made a huge professional decision and it's been increasingly haunting me as of late in my dreams. It's at a point where if I'm not dreaming about it everyday, then it's certainly every other day. The funny thing is that I'm fine with my decision, but I don't care much for the comments others have made. Family, friends, and colleagues have given their input and I wish they would leave me the hell alone because doubts have started to creep up on me, but it wasn't exactly a decision I could hide and of course, word travels fast.
Please no more mopey, sad, depressing cry cry memes. :(

I just can't take anymore.

It was so quiet you could hear a pin drop. Lily approached the base of the stairs with caution, making sure to open the door ever so slowly as to not catch the attention of the undead. At first glance, it seemed as if the lobby was empty, but the girl knew better than to make such an assumption given her previous experience, a mistake that would be etched in her mind until she too passed away.

Lily practically hugged the wall as she made her way to the exit, her eyes darting from the main counter to the tables that were knocked on their side to practically every other sort of obstacle that was large enough in size. It was then, while Lily was mildly distracted by her surroundings, that she felt someone tugging her hard by the arm and pulling her into another room. Lily tried to scream purely out of instinct, but the hand that covered her mouth beat her to it.

"Don't make a sound, you got me?" James whispered, noticing the girl had a gun on her waistline. She simply nodded in response. "I found my sister dead, with a bullet hole in her head. You wouldn't have anything to do with that now, would you?" This time, she shook her head. James eased up his grip, shoving Lily just the slightest to create some distance between them. "You wouldn't—"

Suddenly, both of them heard growling, and they stared at each other for a moment.

"We should probably go," she finally said.

My boyfriend trash talked a bit yesterday when we went go karting. He's a mechanic and like almost every other teenage boy back in the day, he was out racing and drifting cars and whatnot. Well, we put on our helmets, get in those electric go karts, and wait for the green light. Yours truly got 1st place, while he got 4th out of 7. His excuse? He was drifting so they slowed down his kart multiple times. Well, I unintentionally crashed and kept going and they slowed down my kart for one lap. I also got slowed down a few other times but I imagine that was for everyone else too. Did I brag about it publicly on FB and tagged him? You're damn right I did.
It took a brief moment for her to register Philip's presence, but eventually Denise recognized him. The moment he draped his jacket over her, she hugged it tight around her body, trying to stop her quivering but failing nonetheless.

"I...I don't know what happened." She replied softly with a blank, unfocused gaze. The horrors which she'd just been through wouldn't stop replaying in her mind. Initially, Denise might have thought that a victim wouldn't hold any recollection of their possession, but she was proved very wrong in that aspect. She didn't move nor did she say anything else until she heard someone else show up. Denise craned her neck, seeing Dr. McPherson having a quick word with Philip. She took a deep breath and tried to move, but everything hurt.

It was then the man approached her, and she was relived. Hopefully he had some pain meds to help her. Apparently the wounds she had suffered required additional care beyond slapping on a band-aid or two. That would explain the pain she was feeling as well. "Thank you, doc," she replied with a faint smile which almost looked fake, but Denise wasn't in the mood to entertain, especially after hearing his last statement: "it's over for the moment". Since it had happened once already, would she be susceptible to becoming possessed again? The thought alone made her sick, and Denise swallowed hard.

"Please, doc, you can't let this happen to me again," she urged him, going as far as grabbing him by the edge of his jacket with a rather tight grip.
