Bio

Hello! Nice to see you, eh?

I'm Yami, a college student and sometimes decent artist heavily influenced by anime/manga styles. Um...I'm not that interesting, really. I do some cosplay stuff and can get really into anything that interests me enough, but that's about it.

I might be in a bit of a slump right now, actually. I'm looking for something really fascinating to pique my interest once again, help me get back into the swing of things. I'm into crazy fantasy situations, especially.

History

"Grr...Stupid Papa...who does he think he is? 'Sweets are only for weak children and...' yada-ya! Making fun of me like that, I'll show him! I'll become top of the class at the magic school and take any sweets I want whenever I want! Then we'll see who's weak!"

Having been raised by a very strict parent with very stiff expectations, it was only a matter of time before his free-willed child's frustration reached its peak and brought about a few unreasonable expectations of their own. Being expected to fight for anything worth having in this world, she grew up stubborn and determined to get back at both her father and the rest of the world for what she sees as "past transgressions" against her, no matter what it takes.

The main transgression, of course, being the ban on candy that her father placed her under.

Upon entering the magic academy, she's made it her life mission to prove that she can and will get whatever she
feels like she deserves, in spite of what anyone else thinks. Unfortunately, even though she tries to act great, she's only capable of so much on her own, and can get into trouble easily by not knowing when to give up.

What your dream is

"I just want an empire's worth of cookies and no judgements! And maybe a princess dress...and a room full of fluffy pillows...Aw, what the heck; I'll just take over someplace and build a kingdom of sweets or something. No one will get between me and my sugar again!"

What kind of magic you have

(Still Deciding...possibly TBR)
@Blizz

If you haven't moved the CS to the Characters tab, could you take care of that, please? It will make it easier to access necessary information for posting purposes later. Things like appearance and such.
@KatherinWinter

Oh, you're right! I ought to go through these again, it seems like I can't remember who anyone is properly.
@Teknonick did I get it wrong? @YamiCuoreLaroux yes there would be one at the end of the hall.

Probably just a typo. I think the name was Alfie.

Also, thank you for the direction!
@KatherinWinter

I kinda assumed that there was probably a bathroom somewhere down the hall on this floor. Is it alright for me to make one up?

Kyo shook his head as the young girl tried to help him, not really wanting to drag people away from the demonstrations for this. Besides, the door wasn't that far, was it? He could probably make it... No, who was he kidding, this was taking far too long. As the other boy who was called up arrived to help as well, he gave in and just accepted the assistance. It was a bit surprising how easily he handled the weight; even if he wasn't quite at the weight he figured he should be yet, he hadn't thought he was that light. Then again, there were two people supporting the weight, even if one of them was significantly smaller.

As they were leaving the gym, he found himself distracted by the newcomer showing off his ability. Turning his head granted him a glimpse of the shadows he hated so much. The ones that kept him from sleeping so often when he was younger. A demon somewhat reminiscent of the ones that had haunted him in his previous home seemed to form around the kid. Let me out! I don't want to be here, let me out! Auntie!

But even that old fear completely vanished at the sight of what else had been made with that power. That figure he sliced...like some sort of twisted parody of the crying goddess...

It made him feel more numb than his own legs at that moment. A goddess, an actual goddess, had deigned to descend to this place where those gifted with no other fortune were lucky enough to have ended up instead of a ditch somewhere or worse. And yet people were still depraved enough to do nothing else but threaten her further after already having thoroughly upset her somehow. It was heartless. Heartless and unwise.

As he was dragged out of the gym, he couldn't help but feel something colder than the melted ice sprout within him. Demons did exist outside of his mind. And they were here now, too. It almost kept him from hearing the two helping him down the hall completely, though he did eventually manage a slow nod to Josive when he finally registered the statement regarding his name. It was hard to offer a shaky half-smile back, but he was able to focus long enough try pointing to a door a little further down the hall away from the stairs. At least his legs were starting to feel something again.
@Blizz

He makes enemies easily, doesn't he?
Already there!
I'll try and post sometime today. My sister is getting married, so it may not be until later on.

That's wonderful! Congratulation to your sister, and I hope you have a good time.

@YamiCuoreLaroux
Oh, yeah, same tree. I'll edit it. I wasn't exactly sure when I had written that post, and I didn't have internet when I did, so I couldn't confirm.

No worries! It was kind of vague the way I wrote it, anyway, and it's been a while since his powers have actually shown up in the thread.

<Snipped quote by YamiCuoreLaroux>

"Wait, werewolves? Well, how many are there? Maybe you and I can take them on."

"Or maybe that was a bad idea and we should probably just stay put until then."

"Y-yes. They live in certain parts of the forest...they're not normally a problem, but they've been oddly aggressive lately." The young man sighed a bit, trying to remember exactly how long they had been like this. While what he had said about them not being any trouble was usually true, even to the point where he had met with a couple of them on occasion, he hadn't dared to go anywhere near where they often appeared for some time now. How long had it been, anyway? A couple of months?

"Um...not that I've really counted...but I'd guess a lot. There are at least two packs, though the possibility of running into both would be highly unlikely..." Tristyn shuddered a bit, not exactly fancying the thought of somehow getting between them both. He had been guessing at a territory dispute for a while, though he had yet to confirm it. "A-at the very least, I would wait until after the full moon in a couple of days. I have some items that can be used to defend against them, but I'd really rather not end up in the middle of their issues. Not with so many of them out at once. If we go directly after then, though, we'll probably stand a good chance of avoiding them altogether. They're usually not as active for the first few days after the full moon. They tire themselves out or something, I think."

"It would be easier if Raziel were here, but I'm not sure when he'll return. He was gone by the time you got here, I think."
