Hello! I'm Yankee.
I'm usually down for pretty much anything: action, adventure, romance, horror, taboo, comedy, smut, gore, slice-of-life, etc.
I like cute, fun stories just as much as dark, gross, traumatic stories. I love fluff and whump in equal measure (well... maybe whump a lil more)
I enjoy creating original characters for RP, but I get as much enjoyment writing as canon characters in fandom-based games!
On that note I like comic books, cartoons, and videogames. I'm also very into cosplay and art!

I am a very slow writer, so my preferred posting pace is once per week or less. I usually post on weekends.
I like to have fun while writing, so I prefer relaxed partners who don't take things too seriously.
Remember: fiction =/= reality.

Feel free to PM me if you like,
however I do not check PMs immediately. Might take me a day or two... or ten to get back to you.

Forward all complaints to @stone

Cadet couldn't really say that he'd been out past this side of Lumbridge before. The view was pretty nice though, at least for the first bit. Once the little living bullets started taking potshots at their ride, it was decidedly less nice. Still, most of the critters they drove past were of little threat to the Grimm and it's passengers. Luckily the others in their entourage didn't seem to have any major problems with them either. Some in their party took shots of their own at passing keese, and Cadet egged them on, wanting for one of his bowguns. He swatted at the few bat-like creatures that got through Linkle's onslaught, but they quickly poofed into either dust or low level spirits, and the Brother Grimm raced on, leaving the remnants behind. Kamek did say something about being really precise with trying to take pieces off of enemies, otherwise they'd just turn into spirits, and honestly that was still the thing Cadet found he had the hardest time wrapping his brain around. Thoughts for another time though, as the truck was quickly approaching a wide canyon, their destination on the other side.

The hunter peeked around the truck's cab from his spot in the bed. Quite a gap that was, he could tell even from here. Cadet wasn't exactly familiar with the inner workings of the monster truck, but if Euden said they could jump it then he believed him - and when Peach put them in reverse only to put pedal to metal a moment later, Cadet whooped out his approval, "Right on, Princess!"

It was a hard landing, much worse than the crash from the other night, but Cadet kept a firm hold on the edges of the monster truck and pulled himself back into the bed just as he was nearly flung from it. There was barely time to take a breath before enemies began appearing from the void, bubbling up from dark goo-ish puddles. Being that the red headed man was still brimming with energy from earlier, he wasted no time hopping out of the vehicle and brandishing his sword and shield. He overheard some vague words from Bowser and company about recognizing the many weird looking foes, and Cadet took that as good news - if some of their squad had dealt with these types of things before, it shouldn't be too difficult, right? So of course, Cadet headed right on into battle.

"Okay! Let's - !?" The hunter's enthusiasm was cut short from an unexpected blast of wind. For such skinny guys, the Borboras certainly had impressive lung capacity. The trumpet-headed enemy managed to catch Ace Cadet totally off guard with it's wind blast, sending the red head tumbling backwards... and backwards, backwards still, until the Borboras was handily taken out by others in their group. Cadet was pushed nearly to the cliff's edge before the Borboras was defeated, but as soon as it's wind stopped the hunter got to his feat and dusted himself off.

"Okaaaay, gonna try that again," he grumbled to himself before jogging back into the fray. The group had expanded in a big way - it seemed anyone that was capable of summoning allies had done so. It closed the gap between numbers, making it harder for the "subspace" things to gang up on anyone person, which was great news for those like Cadet that didn't have a horde of minions in their pocket. The hunter did his part, slashing at Feyesh overhead when they swooped in low to attack. A poorly timed jab gave one of the fish an opening to zap the Cadet, it was painful and stunned him for a moment, but it's power was far less than what he was usually zapped with if he was being honest. The flying creatures' tentacles came cleanly off with a swing of his blade, and after being left defenseless they were easy enough pickings... but still they kept coming, and not just the Feyesh - all of the enemies were intent on attacking, sort of mindlessly even. It would have been a bit unnerving if there weren't so many of them to fight through.

Ace Cadet managed to push up back towards the bulk of the group, bashing and stabbing any of the little Primids that happened to get past the others. With just his melee weapon on hand, it was slow going, but he made just in time to lay eyes on the bulbous thing with two wicked looking scythes attached to it rolling towards them - though it was doubtful he would have missed it anyway, seeing as it was quite a bit larger than most anything else on the battlefield.

"Whoa, heads up!" he called to the group at large. Two thoughts quickly passed through the Cadet's head: the first, can I take that thing? and the second almost immediately after, yeah I can probably take that thing. The Greap looked like it was made of solid steel, it would be tough, but even if the Cadet was unable to beat it alone he could at least distract it so it didn't catch anyone with their hands already full. As soon as the red head broke off towards it, the scythe wielding creature set it's eyes on him and rolled forward to meet him, it's weapons held high overhead... then swiftly brought down, aiming to slice the Cadet in one fell chop. The weight of it's blades and the momentum of it's swing brought the scythes down hard, and the Cadet's shield was the only thing between him and the sharp end of it's arms. It's strike was heavy, putting the young man into the dirt and knocking the wind out of him, but his shield held strong. The Cadet was pinned, unable to throw the weighty scythe off of him until the Greap rolled backwards and raised it, preparing for another blow. The hunter's torso would likely be a mess of dark bruises after that first attack, a second would probably crack a few ribs and then some - so as soon as he got the chance, Cadet threw himself out of the path of the Greap's blades, rolling around the side of it as the point of the scythe came down in the spot he'd just been lying in.

The quick action had the hunter wincing for just a moment before he forced the pain out of his mind and raked his eyes over the large enemy for any sign of a weak spot. It's head was a safe bet, but it would be tough getting up there even with his slinger - it's body was smooth, it wouldn't be easy to latch onto. Then, maybe it's arms? Or whatever it had that passed for arms, the things connecting the scythes to it's round body were thin enough that perhaps they could be broken. Worth a shot! Cadet thought to himself, bring his sword down onto the connectors as the Greap attempted to pull its' weapons out of the earth they'd gotten stuck in.

Still in, just got a lot going on, slowly getting back to RP and wondering whether to wait for the last intro post before continuing or not.

The assault that would become the Austrian sniper’s final act was truly a terrifying one. With each pull of the trigger the woman demonstrated the tremendous skill she had in her lethal craft, each bullet hitting it’s mark and then some. Pinging off of trees at just the right angles to send the rounds in different directions, yet exactly where she intended them to go - at least, that was the impression Taras got; that their yet unseen assailant was completely in control of the situation even now as the agents were on the cusp of breaching the fort. The tank that he and Yonaka took refuge behind offered little cover given the gunman’s impeccable aim and supernatural sight. Worse yet, it seemed she was gunning for him.

They spotted「Bad Case」, the Russian decided. That was the only possible option, given that both Yonaka and Oscuro had much bigger prescenes on the battlefield despite being physically smaller than himself. Dodging bullets was a hard enough feat on its own, but coupled with the enemy’s ability it was virtually impossible. The projectiles tore through Taras’ flesh, narrowly missing vital points due to the man’s great effort to put the war machine between him and the woman gunning for his life.

”Ah, eto pizdets,” Taras growled under his breath as he willed his stand up through the old fortress. The stand was relaying it’s vision back to its user. The inside of the fort was mostly unremarkable. With its low field of vision, tripwires were seen on the stairwells but posed no threat to「Bad Case」 itself. The metallic insect climbed up three levels before it made it to the roof top where the shooter, a woman in furs, was stationed.

What resulted after the brief confrontation was a short lived chase through the fort’s interior. Understandably, the female that had served as the group’s enemy didn’t want to die. She was smart and though「Bad Case」 was small, she took it seriously. Fast too - and when she escaped past the bug-like stand down into the body of the fort, it gave the agents outside a reprieve from being fired upon.

Taras notably untensed as the gunfire stopped, seeing as he had a direct visual inside and knew exactly what was going on. "She is on the run," he informed the group, his words a bit pained as he kept pressure on his bullet wounds. The sooner his stand found its target, the sooner he could patch himself up. He really needed a nap after this, and a drink or three. Or four.

Eventually,「Bad Case」found its mark, stabbing the woman with its proboscis as soon as it had an opening. She didn't go down without a fight, but it was futile - only a stand could affect another stand, and if the wicked eye piece she wore was hers then it wasn't well suited for stand-to-stand combat... no matter how effective it was to help its user combat humans. After「Bad Case」connected itself via needle, the stand managed to stay attached and force the trick shot's inner body to cooperate with Taras' whims. One by one blood vessels were closed off, tied in knots, and clotted themselves. In her heart, her lungs, her brain. It wasn't a quick process, but as soon as she was dead the small stand extracted itself and hurried back outside to its master. It climbed up Taras' leg and moved to inject him but he stopped it by holding up a hand. "Wait," he commanded, and it waited. Of course,「Bad Case」had not personality of it's own, but that didn't stop the Russian from speaking to it at times. With practiced movements Taras wiped the proboscis before nodding and letting the stand go to work, using his own skin to patch up his wounds.

"I suppose it is over."
I collect so. much. shit. I love collecting. I am not a "hardcore" collector but I do enjoy having something cool, or rare, or just a lot of something and pointing at it and saying "look! I have the most boring hobby of all... collecting!"

I have two collections I am quite proud of it. One is a collection of character merch of one specific anime character. Will gladly post photos if asked, nothing risque so no worries. My true pride and joy is my "money" collection. I phrase it like that because while it's primarily coins, I do have some foreign bills too. I have some cool coins I've gotten a hold of! Nothing insanely expensive but I like it. My most valuable piece is an old Canadian coin worth about $40-50.

What's your favorite vine/tiktok/funny viral video? The one that never gets old for you?
Still interested.

"Thank you for your hospitality." Flynn's voice was light even if their words were heavy with gratitude. Sleeping on a futon was so much nicer than in a tree. Not only that, but Flynn had been able to wash their clothes. Some still had holes, but at least they didn't smell anymore. The barest touches of a smile came to Flynn's face as they bowed gracefully, and the old woman at the other end of that bow giggled and shook her head.

"It was nothing, we all have to help each other in these times," she said, "I saw your Oddish wandering around by the road early, seems it wants to get going. Stay safe!"

Flynn watched the woman's back as she made her way back inside. They took note of the address and their expression faded to blankness as they considered the woman's words... oh, right.

I suppose it is 'my' Oddish, Flynn thought, I never really wanted it, but it's been with me through a lot... and it has a name.

"Iris?" The runaway dancer moved towards the road, walking along it towards the town's exit. Flynn didn't really have any plans in mind, had no goal at the moment, but staying in New Bark wouldn't be that bad, right? Though Iris apparently didn't agree. The Oddish was indeed a little further ahead, halfway between Flynn and a group of people gathering up. Most of them seemed to be roughly Flynn's age. Some of them even looked a little a familiar. Wait -

They didn't just look familiar, Flynn was fairly sure they knew most of those people's names. Dante, Cho, and was that Naoko? Bartholomew? Flynn slowed to a halt, their mind piecing the scene together. People that had lived in New Bark for years, and those that had moved away - ones Flynn knew well, and some only serving as playmates at the park. They all had bags with them, they looked ready to go somewhere. Was it... some kind of trip? It made sense, a group of old friends getting together for a getaway. One that Flynn may have even been invited too, though they were sure their grandmother would have thrown away such invitations. That said, would it... Would it be rude of me to try and tag along? they thought. Kat entered Flynn's vision, and their heart ached a little. They all look like their already having fun. I...

Iris turned to look at Flynn, waving it's leaves about. They might have imagined it, but her leaves did look a bit healthier since yesterday. Leaving Ecruteak had been good for the Oddish. It had been good for Flynn too, even if most of the time was spent walking aimlessly. Only a few more moments of hesitation passed before Flynn sighed, then stood up straight and walked forward. Their posture was perfect, their steps were graceful even just walking down a road, and when they passed Iris the pokémon happily chirped and followed along until both of them were standing close by the group of friends.

"Excuse me, I'm not sure if any of you remember me - My name is Arata. Ah, Flynn Arata." How sad it would be if Flynn had been purged from their minds, but the dancer would deal with it if that was the case. Still, they mentally chastised themself for the slightly botched opening before moving on, an air of determination twinkling in their eyes. "I... would like to come along with you all. Very much."
