Hello! I'm Yankee.
I'm usually down for pretty much anything: action, adventure, romance, horror, taboo, comedy, smut, gore, slice-of-life, etc.
I like cute, fun stories just as much as dark, gross, traumatic stories. I love fluff and whump in equal measure (well... maybe whump a lil more)
I enjoy creating original characters for RP, but I get as much enjoyment writing as canon characters in fandom-based games!
On that note I like comic books, cartoons, and videogames. I'm also very into cosplay and art!

I am a very slow writer, so my preferred posting pace is once per week or less. I usually post on weekends.
I like to have fun while writing, so I prefer relaxed partners who don't take things too seriously.
Remember: fiction =/= reality.

Feel free to PM me if you like,
however I do not check PMs immediately. Might take me a day or two... or ten to get back to you.

Forward all complaints to @stone

The Soviet couldn't keep the sour expression from his face. These ladies were exhausting. Their progress was slow, and the woman on the stage kept talking, her voice was grating. Lilliane slipped outside and Taras moved away from the opening. She'd said to tell Yonaka to move back when she looked ready, but the woman and Ritz were in the middle of a close quarters battle - she was probably ready for it to be over at any time. They needed another opening to at least get those damned civilians out of the way.

"Yonaka, move back!" Taras was not about to find is way over there and whisper it to her, and his words took the shape of an order rather than a suggestion despite the fact that the four of them were from different countries, with different hierarchies and he was in no way their superior despite how often he felt he was. The woman was close to the other wall already. If she did as he said and moved back, Lilliane would hear her.

Next was Oscuro. The small agent was doing a fine job of fending off the identical stands and the soldiers they were attached too. Between them and the despicable duo on stage, it was clear who was the larger threat, but there were still many of the foot soldiers. Taras summoned his stand.

It was the same tiny, metal thing as always. It was fast - and in the chaos Taras thought it might go unnoticed. He let「Bad Case」scuttled down his legs and speed towards the group of soldiers while Taras himself moved closer to the stage. He held his pistol up and despite the dancer's reflective ability, he shot again at the man with the black eyes. Surely that shiny stand would move to defend him, and give Oscuro and his own stand the opportunity to wipe out the battalion. 「Bad Case」slipped between the soldiers' legs, far from where「Miss Murder」was spraying her bullets above. It stabbed at their heels, severing the tendons there from the inside, only a dot of blood left behind with the needle wound. It would slow them down, make them easier targets for petrification. Without the squad bearing down on them, the stand users on stage would be much easier to deal with.

Walking through the city was fun. It was warm and lively, and even if it was cramped it was new - it reminded Ames of a big city. Suddenly, she thought to herself how dumb that would have sounded if she'd expressed herself aloud. Nyu-Taro was a big city. Anytime a particularly large person or animal pushed past, the red head grinned. When tiny but inhumanly strong people she presumed were other players easily parted the crowed, she laughed. When the swell of bodies pushed their group out of the congested road and into a more open area, the newly classed warrior did a quick head count. No one was missing, thankfully.

Not only had they managed to stay together, but it seems they found their target too. Ames momentarily bristled when the old man grabbed Ari, but Raime and Amulak were there questioning him, and Ari herself didn't seem too disturbed. While they did their thing, Ames nudged Calace with her shoulder.

"Don't worry, we'll get everyone going in the class they want to be in soon," she reassured the woman.  "Get these talismans, meet up with Lew, beat each other up a bit..." at this, Ames waggled her brows at Mags who'd tagged along with only minimal complaints.  "...get Kriz up to speed and be on our way! ...oh yeah, Kriz!"

The head spinning walk to the tea shop nearly made Ames forget about the friend they left back at the Keystone. The red head pushed past the group in front of the talisman maker, ignoring the questions they had for the old man and for each other. She knelt down and dropped all of the silver she had into the man's hat, a total of fourty, and smiled at the artisan.

 "Two please!"

The man raised his hand to his mouth and gratefully produced a couple of talismans. Ames took them with a nod and stood up.  "I'm gonna take one back to Kriz, I'll see you guys at the gate we were gonna meet Lew at," she announced, before diving back into the throng of people and letting them sweep her along back in the direction of the Keystone at the city's center.

Wow. That lizard really takes his food seriously. Flick hid his face in his glass, taking a long, slow sip of his drink while he watched the kobold over the rim of the cup. He was partly impressed at the display, but also a bit disturbed. At the very least he could appreciate the kobold's dedication to his patron... Flick was busy staring and trying to recall if he'd ever gotten the kobold or the other genasi's name when he realized the latter was speaking. She was agreeing with him, and he huffed appreciatively. He even grinned slightly at the nickname. He'd certainly been called worse.

Flicker shrugged off the woman's glare, and his next words came easily.

"If we're gonna do this, we'd better do it right, hm? I'm sure the officers are tired of a bunch of money hungry do-gooders askin' questions, but like ya said - can't hurt to be thorough."

It seemed the group had decided that investigating the town first would be best, which Flick had no issues with. A wilderness trek wasn't uncommon for him, in fact it was his job, but he'd just gotten back. Plus, as competent as these people were turning out to be, there was still a trust issue. It would be good for all of them to keep getting used to each other before they went blustering out of town. Since they were splitting up, the genasi thought about where he'd rather go. As he mulled it over, he glanced between Faint and the other genasi - Sin... something, right? Probably Cinder, given her heritage. His own name was a product of that too.

"Can't speak for anyone else, but I'm a guide," he told the human. He didn't say it proudly, more as a matter of fact. "Tour guide, wilderness guide, trailblazer, occasional detective considerin' the amount of times I've had to take people out there lookin' for the same thing as us."

The events of his latest stint into the frontier came back to him and he frowned. His jaw hurt. He was starting to feel bad about telling Garrick flat out his wife was dead. Flick made up his mind to avoid the man's estate for now.

"Never found anythin' of course. Then again, I've never went with such a... interestin' group as y'all. When we're done in town, I'll take everyone to where some of the bodies been found out there. Speakin' of town," Flick leaned over and tapped lightly on the warforged's chasis. "I'll go with Nemo here to the sheriff's office. I'm sure they'd love to see me back there askin' around again. I can drop G..."

He trailed off and suddenly looked at the man with the goliath skeleton behind him. The necromancer's name was Graves? Of course it was Graves! He'd missed it before but the absurdity of it had Flick cracking an uneasy smile.

"...drop Graves off at the coroner's nearby. But I'm not gonna be there when he does his thing."
Legend made me turn on signatures just to look at it. Anyway, welcome! Enjoy yourself here!

Yeah I'm with OwO. Not the penchant for violence part, but in that I don't have much to add at the moment that wasn't already covered by someone else, so I'll wait a bit!

Some of the group wandered off after the spirit claiming, but not Cadet. As eager was he was to get going, fight the big bad thing and free the good people of Lumbridge (or so he'd been told would probably happen), the hunter was glad he'd stayed put this time. He felt like he learned a little more about this crazy world they all found themselves in, listening to words that weren't exactly meant for him. By the time the whole group came back together again and Peach gave them her short, but inspiring speech, Cadet was more ready then ever. He let out a whoop with Peach's rallying cry and honestly? He was crushing a little bit. The Princess was cool.

Everyone filtered together to cross the bridge at the mountain's top. As Cadet waited his turn to cross, he shifted his weight back and forth between each of his feet, and the cage at his hip jangled lightly. An idea formed in his head, something that would help if Bowser was right and they faced a maze inside of the dark portal.

"Oh! Real quick," Ace Cadet spoke to the squad at large, holding his scoutfly cage up and shaking it gently open to let the glowing insects inside out. "If it's really a maze inside, it'll be a good idea for these guys to get all of your scents. That way if we get separated, we can find each other. And if it's not a maze, well, can't hurt right?" The scoutflies drifted over to each member of their group, buzzing around them briefly before returning to their holding chamber. The hunter made sure that the members of the crew he most recently met, the likes of Fox, Sectonia, Cuphead and Link, got an extra face full of brightly lit bugs. "Their noses are even better than a poogie's - well, I don't actually know if they have noses but you get what I mean!"

Of course, once crossing over the threshold it was quite clear that the other side wasn't a maze so much as it was... a dark, nasty general area. The sudden change from daylight to swirling darkness took a moment to get used to, but after blinking a few times the Cadet peered out from behind the procession and studied the landscape - and lack thereof. "Kind of gross in here," he murmured to himself, looking over the multitude of tiny islands and the larger central land mass. In the middle of considering how they'd get everyone over to the center island, something appeared close by. Something hostile, apparently. Team really couldn't catch a break. Euden, Bowser and Jr. went to handle it, and Cadet unsheathed his sword and shield. Although he was much looking forward to getting to use the long sword, it wasn't very ideal in the relatively small area, so ol' tried and true it was. He didn't jump into battle, instead scanning the area again. Where there's one, there's probably more. That thing was dark, hard to see against the dismal sky that surrounded them on all sides, but... a shift of black on static purple drew the hunter's attention.

Another one of those creatures? Cadet could barely make it out from this distance, but it seemed to be the same kind of thing. This one didn't seem to notice them - until it did, and the red head could feel the thing turning to watch him as he watched it. Suddenly Cadet was watching it from way closer up. The creature appeared in front of him in a flash, and if he hadn't already been on the look out for enemies Cadet would have taken a swipe to his mid section. "Whoa!" When the creature's arm struck the metal of the Master Bang's shield, the hunter jumped backward and readied himself for another fight.

Ah, Calace was a character alright. Ames laughed and opened her arms, welcoming the short female avatar into them as she stalked over. "Okay, okay! At least you can actually walk. We'll bring everyone who wants to come." Amulak's... colorful word choice had the red head floundering for a few moments, but she recovered quickly enough. "Uh... thanks? I definitely wouldn't... do that." Then again, with this new make believe body she actually could, right? ...well, that wasn't a rabbit hole she wanted her thoughts to go down right now. She squeezed her eyes shut and when she opened them again, it was just in time to see Lew walk away.

"Oh, okay! West Gate..." she mumbled after the man, then turned back to their heavily accented friend to reassure him. "Don't worry, some of us aren't in a rush, so it's okay." Ames had to try very hard not to turn her eyes pointedly in Mags' direction with that last comment, especially after her vague - but very real - threat, but she succeeded.

After collecting Kriz's silver coins with a promise to return as soon as possible, Ames was pretty much ready to go - save for one thing. She looked over at the keystone again, studying the results it'd returned for her. Ascetic, kekkaishi... Those were pretty good classes... Right? Maybe? Ames smiled blankly at the screen the stone produced, sweat beginning to form at the base of her neck. What the fuck was an ascetic or a kekkaishi? What the hell was "Smartman" supposed to mean?? The only one listed that was even vaguely familiar to the red head was exorcist. That one also seemed the easiest to satisfy the requirements for. She committed the location names to memory and closed the screen, then helped Calace over to the rest of the group with a supporting arm as they ventured away from their spawn point for the first time.
