I don't know about that. Ultimately, the only person you need to prove yourself to is you. Everyone else has their own standards for you, and trying to meet all of them is impossible.

I feel like I'm not making the kind of progress everyone else is. And I don't know what to do about it.
Now that is something I can answer. Nobody ever sees the progress they make and thinks it's enough. It's much harder to see something from within it than outside of it.
