As a note, while it is possible for an angel to regain their archangel status via the past life regression, it is extremely difficult for the reasons stated above. If not clear enough, well let me put it like this. Often the angel's more or less human body will crash due to the strain put on its essence by the increasingly pure and potent angelic essence as the angel recalls their past lives. While there can be/are ways around this, it tends to be quite difficult for you to get through the entire 7000 years of the angel's existence and back to archangel status.

In season one, my character, Saella (who was a tamer angel) managed to get through the majority of her past lives because she had the assistance of several demons (which she had tamed and was controlling to varied extents) to keep her mind and essence stable and allow her body to properly adjust as she regressed/regained her memories. It was in no way a painless process....

You can post for both in the same post, and thus reduce the amount you have to write for either character as the post paragraph count (which is largely pointless lol) can be split between characters. It was half in jest, I am a little sad that no one has joined the 12th division, but it is fairly typical in my experience. I mean, most of the time people in 12th division are scientists, eccentrics, crazy, and/or downright bizarre. So it's not all that strange that no one has joined it thus far....

With minimal skill and individual can draw forth these things from it and use them for their own purposes. Fulcrum can be used in a more active fashion to actually sap emotions from people consciously, but this process is incredibly gradual and only works through pulling at the essence of those nearby. The object cannot work on anyone thirty meters from its location. Prolonged exposure its effects can cause mood swings, depression, apathy, and emotional exhaustion.

Metentis(Harvester): The instrument given to him by the Academy a few years prior to his moving to his apartment near its location. This instrument is always kept spiralled around his wrist and it has several essential methods of use. Timore can use it as a whip, allowing it to become a dangerous implement that he can channel his essence through so as to instigate a severing effect on any essence it comes into contact with. When it is kept around his wrist, Timore can channel his essence through it with incredible precision to instigate different notes, which can influence the emotions of others. In this state it is capable of invoking only two major emotions in those it effects, and Timore will be incapable of deciding who its notes are directed at. The two emotions are fear and love.

The third use is the traditional method that the intrument can be utilized, which is by unwinding it from his wrist, straightening it out, and allowing it to temporarily become rigid. In this state it acts much like a mixture of a flute and a saxophone, though the music it produces is much more akin to a flute. In this state Metentis is in what is nearly its optimal form and thus it can manipulate the emotions of the listener(s) to varying extents depending on the skill of the user. Metentis' final form is instigated by feeding it emotional energy, and raw essence, allowing it to become considerably larger in both thickness and length, and act as an actual snake does. In this state the instrument's mentality becomes quite apparent and it can, to some measure, act on its lonesome.

In terms of Metentis' personality, the instrument is a ravenous deceiver, considering people to be as a winery is to wine, worth something only for the emotions they produce. Its creators marveled at how coherent the serpent's mind and thoughts appear to be, but in actuality there is quite a bit of chaos that goes on in the instrument's twisted little mind. However, many of the personalities held within it have agreed to cooperate with the one who refers to itself as Metentis, as this particular being –who was once a demon-- seeks almost solely to feed them as a whole. Yet, secretly, Metentis wishes to escape the instrument's form and regain his own body, something that has so far been a slow and grueling process. In terms of communication, Metentis is capable of speaking with Timore telepathically and verbally through the mouth of the flute. Metentis has had several players over the years, but all of them have, thus far, succumbed to various ailments, be they mental or otherwise. However, the instrument thinks that it's current wielder, Timore, holds much promise....

Praecisio: The concealed form of his not so inconspicuous weapon, this ring is in actuality an enchanted weapon, which has shifted its shape to its master's will. It is actually a rather dangerous curved sword, which feeds on the blood of those it cuts. While the blade is plainly demonic in nature, it has no aura to speak of unless it has recently been fed. When it has been fed the blade will cause others near it to feel uneasy.

Physical and Mental Capabilities

Athletic Physique: While he does in fact enjoy playing his instrument, Timore makes it a point to stay in shape and thus goes to the Gym tri-weekly as well as practicing mixed martial arts at a nearby establishment. Still, he is no Olympic athlete, but he does possess a considerable amount of stamina and an above average level of physical strength and speed.

Genius Flutist: Having studied, and played, the flute since he was young, Timore has a passion, and a natural talent, for it. Thus he has gained quite the level of skill throughout his years, allowing him to now play somewhere between a skilled musician and a professional.

Sweet Talker: In short, Timore is an exceptionally charming young man and is very good at getting people to think that what he wants them to do, was their own idea (and furthermore that it is a good idea). He is well acquainted with the opposite sex and how they think and happens to be a very intense hopeless romantic.

Physiological Knowledge: Having grown up with a doctor for a father, Timore was often asked questions and taught about human biology. Thus, over the years, he has gained a considerable amount of knowledge in said field both through his father, and through his own research in more recent years.

Specifically Timore is able to create pulses or generate a push or pull utilizing his own essence. Timore, through his unique synesthesia, and ability to manipulate the flow of essence, is capable of differentiating between different types of essence. This allows him to recognize the use of different forms of magic within a half a mile or so, but only if it is fairly strong. The closer it is to him, the easier it is for him to sense. Additionally, he can typically tell someone's race as well. He could learn how to read people's emotions through this ability with time.

Still, because of this, Timore prefers to stay away from places with massive crowds.

*Essence Manipulation: Timore can weave essence into simple constructs such as barriers, blades or other fairly simple implements. He can charge essence with emotions imparting different effects, which he can then weaponize. All weaponized/emotion charged essence requires at least 1 prep to infuse before it can be utilized. The more preps the stronger the effect.

Emotions

Rage: Containing a great amount of malcontent and destructive influence, any essence infused with this emotion can explode or burn those touching it, including the user. Can be explosive.

Joy: Charges anything touched with incredible energy. This energy can, if too greatly infused, cause an explosion. However, things touched by the explosion are strengthened rather than harmed, becoming more durable.

Love: Slightly reinforces things touched by the infused essence. However, has the primary effect of repairing or healing things in contact with itself.

Despair: Degrading effect, causes things in contact with the infused essence to gradually deteriorate be they physical or energetic.

Additional Appearance Information: Hanayaka stands at roughly 5'2 and weighs in healthily for her height and age. She has the tendency to wear a somewhat more form fitting shihakusho than is normal. While not too much lower, it should be noted that she tends to allow her shihakusho's collar to be somewhat looser around her neck, as if putting certain assets subtly on display.

Personality: Hanayaka is a very pleasant girl to be around whose charm easily grows on those few who she surrounds herself with, though not due to her own choice. She enjoys just having a conversation with someone, walking through gardens on a beautiful day, and she'd really enjoy if her sword spirit would stuff it for just one month so she could get laid. Possessing a good sense of humor and a quite healthy appreciation for the art of sarcasm, Hana can be considered a generally amicable individual with a fairly moderate temperament and a certain kindness about her. While not gentle to a fault or overly considerate, Hanayaka is a very empathetic individual, tending towards caring for others and attempting to comfort them when they're down. Or at least she would if her sword spirit didn't get in the goddamn way all the time. Regardless, there are times wher Hana ceases to care for other's emotions or simply pushes her natural empathy deep below the surface to do what needs to be done, which is often the case in both battle and in the interrogation chamber....

Still, beneath all this there is a slowly growing enjoyment of the suffering that she inflicts upon others in these situations. It is something that, despite its miniscule nature, she is quite ashamed of. In fact, one could say she even struggles with guilt issues because of said feelings. For the most part, Hana is a fairly respectful young lady, referring to her betters by their proper titles and keeping things polite...usually. However when it comes to her friends she is considerably less reserved and will crack jokes at their expense, though typically only when they're in relatively good taste. Beyond this is should be noted that Hanayaka has an extreme dislike for her sword spirit as while she is as interested in the opposite as most girls her age, her zanpakuto has been an extreme deterrent for such situations, be they either in the interest of romance, or in more the direction of sexuality and the like. When it comes to combat, Hana will readily admit that she enjoys it, though she will never entirely admit that she enjoys the pain she inflicts, only that she is somewhat wrapped up in the thrill of it all.

History:

While there is certainly something of a rich history behind this maiden, very few seem to know much of anything about Hana's past, and she speaks of it seldom if at all. Still, the last several decades have been spent in both the academy and the gotei 13 achieving the position she holds today. She is widely known as one of, or perhaps the only, female Idol of the gotei 13, not to mention the excessive imfamy of her zanpakuto spirit, Misute Shingai-sha.

Zanpakuto Spirit & Inner World: A world of apparent beauty and wonder, Hanayaka's inner world is certainly one that cannot be judged wholly by its appearance. In fact, one would be unwise to do so at all, for it is indeed a mask for the true horror that lurks just beneath the surface of its false beauty. Should Misute will it, or lose her composure the world is more likely to appear as a grotesque mockery of its former beauty, the plants turning into fungal growths, the air becoming filled with spores of a sickening scent, and the very ground gaining the consistency of rancid flesh, squelching and moving underfoot. When one initially gazes upon this world it will dazzle and draw them in with its beauty, but as with any good it appears alluring only at first, before it gradually reveals those within to the sickening nature of its alien existence, revealing non-euclidean geometries, among other things. As if this were not enough already, Hanayaka's sword spirit, Misute Shingai-sha's appearance is of similar make. At first she might appear at least somewhat pleasant, though always a measure disturbing, but with the passage of time her humanoid guise can be seen to leak bodily fluids and acidic grime, smell of death, and hint at the wrongness that it attempts to hide.

While Misute Shingai-sha may initially hide its true form, it is in actuality impossible to perceive as the mortal mind is incapable of understanding its wrongness. Thus, Shingai-sha is, when without glamour, subject to shift its appearance depending on the viewer's unique perception of what is wrong in the world, down to the most basic level, and up to the most existential of concepts. Such is simply its nature.

Zanpakuto Spirit Personality: A difficult being to fathom, to say the least, Misute shingai-sha's personality shifts not only with the seasons, but with the passing of minutes or even seconds. However, there are some traits that tend to lurk within the mire of its persona and these are its unpredictability, its utter hatred of nigh everything outside of its master and counterparts, and its insane and maddening over protectiveness in regards to Hanayaka. Despite its masters kind and gentle nature, Misute considers her the very object of perfection and purity, and while in any other scenario it would writhe at the thought of such a thing even existing in its presence, with Hana it has become obsessed and will stop at nothing to protect. Yet, its idea of protection is quite over exaggerated and seems to have been extrapolated upon a great deal, as well as warped out of proportion entirely, in fact it's almost as if Misute does not truly understand the concept.... Rather, instead of merely keeping what it considers its charge away from danger, Misute has the tendency to push Hanayaka towards conflict, whereas it will forbid or vehemently make its dislike of any and all individuals who attempt to involve themselves with Hanayaka. It is almost as if Misute considers Hana to be its possession, rather than its master and counterpart, which it very well may, but who knows, the thing is impossible to predict anyways.

Sealed State: While its shikai sports only one blade, the sealed state of Misute Shingai-sha is composed of two blades, one of which is marred with all manners of decay and misuse. The second blade is entirely dissimilar to its counterpart, though it is smaller in length, akin to a wakizashi rather than a katana. It is this blade that Hanayaka has the tendency to draw when she intends to fight without the use of her shikai. This second blade remains even when she releases her shikai, though it seems to play no role and possess no abilities of its own.

Shikai: Placing her hand on the decayed and delapidated blade of her zanpakuto, its imaculate counterpart untouched, Hanayaka pulls it mere inches from its sheath as she states, “Corrode the unseen, withhold your purity, pervade all levels...” as the third statement is spoken, she draws the blade more quickly. The more of its form is removed from its sheath, the more it begins to corrode and warp, becoming increasingly grotesque until it has morphed from the form of a katana entirely and instead shifted into what can be amounted to a writhing mass of flesh. As the transformation is completed, she calmly states its name, “...Misute Shingai-sha(見捨て侵害者 'Forsaken Invader')”.

Note: The full name of Hanayaka's zanpakuto is Misute Shingai-sha, Kūkyo no jundo(見捨て侵害者, 空虚の純度 'Purity of Emptiness, Forsaken Invader') however, she does not state the second half during its shikai release for some reason. In fact, she very rarely uses its full name at all. Additionally it should be noted that she has not mastered her shikai.

Abilities: Fitting to its appearance, Hanayaka's zanpakuto has mind shattering and generally sickening effects on those who remain within its half mile sphere of influence. The longer an individual is exposed to the intense aura of wrongness emitted in Misute Shingai-sha's reiatsu, as well as the excessively high, and often unheard, sound of its shrill, insidious voice the less mentally stable they will generally become. Regardless, all are influenced by this zanpakuto's terrifying intentions, gradually sending them into deeper and deeper state of paranoia, nervousness, panic, and general terror. While most animals can perceive the sound of Misute Shingai-sha most individuals with functionally human ears will be incapable of realizing that they are being exposed to the sound at all.

The longer one is affected by Misute's presence, the more difficult they become to resist and the more powerful their effects become on the minds of its victims. After roughly five minutes of exposure, most individuals will begin to experience minor hallucinations, typically depicting grotesque, shocking, or utterly terrifying images and occurrences. Beyond this, Hana's shikai is capable of altering its form and devouring organic and energetic material allowing it to increase its own size or mass respectively. Lastly, the mass of flesh that is Hana's shikai can devour non-biological matter to some degree, though it will take longer to digest for use depending on the resistance of the material to acids.

Techniques

Hen'yō suru(変容する 'Metamorphose'): Through its ability to shift its composition and shape, as well as to devour both materials and reiryoku this technique comes into being. Hen'yō suru allows Hanayaka to alter the shape, position, and composition of Misute's shikai. This means that the amorphous mass of biological matter is capable of rearranging itself into both recognizable, and unrecognizable biological shapes. In shikai this ability is however somewhat limited in nature as the mass is unable to create new organs or the like aside from those seen in most mammalian animals and several avian or reptilian ones. This generally applies to its physical characteristics as well, meaning it can only creates weapons in the form of talons, claws, or at least use the same materials to create similar biological structures. Beyond this, Misute is capable of assimilating other materials through acidic digestion after enveloping the material(s) in its fleshy mass of a body. This can give it new biological, or otherwise, material to synthesize and incorporate into its form. The general complexity of its available forms remains quite limited though.

Imawashī kyōmei(忌まわしい共鳴 'Abhorrent resonance'): Both a passive and active ability, Imawashī kyōmei is a technique that relates to the psychological effects of Hanayaka's shikai. In particular this technique allow the user to amplify or manipulate the nature and effects of the zanpakuto's frequency, thus making it possible for Hana to reduce, add, or increase its various properties. However, this active effect can only be applied when Hana or Misute is in direct or indirect contact with her. This means that she, or the mass of flesh, must be touching the individual. Conversely, Hana can enact this technique if her wakizashi is in contact with the intended victim's body or weapon respectively.

This technique's passive effect is rather simple and goes as follows. The intensity of the frequency and reiatsu's psychological effects increase or decrease directly proportional to how far away individuals are from her in relation to the half mile radius of her shikai. The closer they are the more intense the effects and the greater the speed of their onset. This technique is primarily related to the frequency emitted by Hana's zanpakuto, though it does have minor relation to the reiatsu signature as well.

Inshitsuna seishinbyō(陰湿な精神病 'Insidious psychosis'): In contrast its counterpart, Imawashī kyōmei, this technique is related almost solely to the reiatsu signature emitted by Hanayaka's zanpakuto. Rather than have to do with the intensity, Inshitsuna seishinbyō has dominance over both the long lasting consequences of exposure to her shikai as well as control over what occurs if one is directly damaged either by Hana's blade or Misute herself. In regards to damage taken from her shikai, through this technique, no matter the severity of the wound, Hana is capable of manipulating the pain instilled via any wound inflicted by the aforementioned things. If any of her reiryoku enters the body of her aggressors the effects become even more drastic, allowing her to drastically increase, or straight up manifest, pain in the body of the effected. This technique is also what allows Hanayaka, or Misute, to create and manipulate the hallucinations of those effected by the zanpakuto's core ability. Furthermore, once an individual is damaged or exposed internally to her reiryoku they become subject to the possibility of nightmares and mental manipulation by either spirit or master. This means that should either wish it they can delve into the psyche of their opponent(s) and draw forth their greatest fears or most traumatic experiences so as to better torture them and debilitate them in any given situation. Extraction of such details is easier depending on how much of her reiryoku is in their system, or how much damage she has inflicted with her shikai.
