Fennec

Concept: A man hailing from the continent of Nymia, Fennec is a cunning man, veiled in magics and held by the will of Haramon. His last name lost via karmic sacrifice, Fennec has no family and thus no legacy to speak of. He is lost, but not so much as to be unable to find himself once more. A curious man he seeks out the city of Olias where all things seem to hide. While his power is perhaps not so great as some, he is nonetheless formidable in his own ways, possessing the ability to perceive as much as Haramon would, though tempered by his humanity of course as no mortal may truly possess the capabilities of a god's incarnation in earnest.

While possessing little overt power, Fennec is capable of subtly pulling on the strings of energy that connect everyone, particularly those that link him to others. He has picked up a variety of tricks in his time and cut deals with many. As such he has come to find it easy to hide himself from the attention of most by manipulating people's connections to his person and sometimes through using glamours he has acquired in certain bargains in his past. Still, should he be truly pressed to defend himself one would be quite surprised to find him capable of at least minor magics of the fourth Order(tier), though his domain is often of the third.

While a seemingly small detail, it should be noted that Fennec is essentially incapable of lying. It should however be known that lies of omission are, in this respect, not lies, though sarcasm is counted as such. Because of this Fennec must strive to tell only truth, at least in some fashion. After all, should his words become lies his agency and magical abilities will suffer, drained by his desecration of Haramon's Will and its trappings. Promises and oaths, because of this, hold particular power making them either a boon when fulfilled or a terribly bane if betrayed or broken.

Fennec is accompanied by his familiar, Elephel, which more often than not takes the form of a firefly, hiding either in his robes, or in plain sight. The familiar's true form is that of a form of Fae known as a Scéal-rugadh, or Storyborn in the common tongue. The familiar is bound to Fennec just as he as bound to it, the two share a connection for the duration of Fennec's life, empowering one another in the meantime.

Equipment: While not possessing much in the regard of armor or weaponry, Fennec carries a great deal in the way of magical ingredients and supplies. Anything from salt to the ground up bones of a sick goat could be found somewhere within the confines of his robes. Additionally despite his lack of true armor, Fennec's clothes have been reinforced with a variety of rune-based enchantments. As an example his robes are not permeable to water and are fire proof, though excessive heat is still something their owner must avoid. Fennec's boots are fire and water proof as well as being uncannily silent. Last among their capabilities is the small bladed tip located in the bottom of the toe of each boot. These are normally retracted unless Fennec requires their use. The heel of his boots also possess this small downwards facing retractable blades. Each blade is only half an inch in length, but is unnaturally sharp, capable of cutting through most materials.

Last, but most important of his possessions is a simple silver ring, which acts as his Implement--an item magically bound via ritual to a magic user to hone their power and amplify their abilities in a given area. Fennec's implement focuses his craft on the idea of connections first and foremost. For further bits of the symbolism that creates the focus of his art due to the item, look here for the substance and here for the item's significance.
Bam, all three cities have been described and a picture provided to set the tone and give a good idea of what one will find there, in spirit, even if not in terribly specific terms.

So yeah, there's that. I'll probably continue to add basic information about Bayera (the name of the main world) as a whole as things progress and/or as lore is submitted.
Gael, Verens Estrada

Nodding as he was allowed leave, Gael turned and exited the alley, his abilities deflecting the attention of everyone nearby. Swiftly he navigated the area, locating the alley in which he had changed. Despite the smell he slipped the clothes back on, knowing he'd need to launder them later. He then quickly got into his car and drove off, quite aware of the safety precautions that the PRT were taking. He out maneuvered them, having drawn information from many minds on the layout of the area, as well as from his incredible memory. With some time in hand he slipped the earpiece that the Precog had given him in place. Useful, but troublesome if they could track his location with it.

He noted that his clothes didn't smell that bad, having only been left in their hiding place for 15 or so minutes, if that much. They had a grimy feel to them despite their being wrapped in something else, but it was considerably less serious than he thought it would have been. He made a note of that. He also made a note to carry something to eliminate the smell and shield the clothes the next time he needed to hide them. As his mind moved through multiple lines of consideration, branching out and elaborating on details and plans he was forced to shift a small amount of his focus to a new development the moment that the Precog contacted him.

He almost smiled, then reconsidered and kept his tone and facial expressions neutral. He began to utilize a psychic screen, drowning out intrusions with mental 'white noise.' The measure might confuse the Precog's ability in regards to him, though it was just as plausible that it wouldn't. Nonetheless, it was better to try and rule one possibility out than to not try at all--at least in these circumstances that was.

First he made a note of the address in his mind's eye, before zooming out to look at his mental picture of the city's layout. He focused in on the single street, recalled the area code, then narrowed the mental search down to a single area. He then ran through the addresses till he found the place. He would have raised an eyebrow, but the precog might sense that, so he didn't. "What's your angle..." he asked Seth, the question clearly aimed only at the Precog. He followed it up with something else, "...and what can I expect if I join the group? It's awfully risky, since they have a reputation now. I've done some research and having a reputation as a new villain is generally not a good thing."

While he didn't ask, he noted that due to the involvement of a Precog and the teleporter--not to mention the reactions they had given when they'd shown up--it was relatively clear that someone else was pulling the strings.

It was a dangerous and risky endeavor since the individual was an unknown variable. Gael didn't like unknown variables. He wondered what would happen if he decided not to join them, especially considering the fact that Seth had just revealed their base of operations. Then again, if they had someone backing them...perhaps finding a new place wasn't such a big deal.

All things to consider...and consider well. His focus branched off further, considering more possibilities. He'd need back up plans for sure. Running blind wasn't his thing and neither was not being prepared.

So he'd make damn sure that he was prepared--whatever came his way.

That brought a tiny grin to his lips. He wondered how things would play out from here. At the very least joining could be...interesting. He just didn't want to be trapped into doing so.

He didn't like having to follow the agenda of others.

So perhaps...perhaps he'd just have to change the dynamic.
Alright. In the Lore thread I have put some time into defining Calivast, the capital of Isira laid upon the continent of Vostira. I'll try and get at least one more done before I leave for work. If not, well I've got the next two days off to get some more work done on it :)
Thanks for pointing that out. I must have missed that when I was combing through the OP before posting. Nonetheless, it is LATSs rather than LATTs. Also, hi there.
Welcome to our humble little thread haha. I've got a busy week ahead of me, but I plan to try and write up some descriptions or maybe brain storm some stuff about the three capitals so that the starting areas are at least somewhat defined (while leaving room for building in their surroundings). I figured it would help to have a little bit of definition. You know, some starting points.
