Thanks Serenity. I'll do some research. Posted by the way ^_^
The world turned, the orb of light fell, and another rose, a satellite. Unseen form, perceived while nothing noted its presence. The flowing substance, liquid, water, covered much of the world it observed. The air was thick with moisture and chemical mixtures, gaseous and to something less aware, invisible. The world's surface seemed inert to the entity, without activity, but it had no way to truly understand this state of being.

Stillness, lack of motion. These concepts did not fit what it considered this to be.

Then, moving closer to the vast water, the being entered it, unimpeded or affected by the liquid, and explored with unfeeling catharsis.

It found what it sought, in concept.

Life.

Observing for a long while, the Matrices analyzed this...life and watched it move and interact with its surroundings, being effected by them and effecting them in turn. Reaching out with its formless presence it influenced the tiny creatures and found that unlike all else, its touch had an effect. The code within the tiny...organisms, reacted and one of the things became sick and quickly perished. A mutation caused that did not properly sync with the rest of its form.

Intrigued by this, the Matrices drifted over the small amorphous things and again made its presence touch that of the things. It touched life and watched as its influence caused something most beautiful: Change.

While it had seen movement in the heavens by the two celestial orbs, the formless being had never seen much of this thing. Change was foreign to it, and yet now it was becoming a part of it. With each alteration it made, the creatures, cells, were modified and change occurred. This, to the being, was beautiful, but it needed something...more. So, with great patience the being tinkered and eventually the amoebas gained a heightened defense against others not of their own kind. This, however, isolated them from one another. That would be the next change, but the Matrices would take its time, for haste created only waste and time was not a worry for the being.

Not at all.

antarctic termite said It's pretty much the same 'try to create a singular ultimate species' idea, except it does so by stealing genes (not sure if that's a thing IRL but it can be here, if you can make it work), stealing the qualities of other organisms and assimilating them... Or like a virus, that tries to assert its own DNA over other species (absolutely no idea how that would work). All I'm thinking about is that it doesn't leave much for the entity itself to do, seeing as the species manages its own DNA either way. :|Ed: Ok so I lost computer access halfway thtough a post, and it'll be up either within a few hours or tomorrw morning. Everyone just keep doing whatever it is you think you're doing. You can grow a further +5% if you so desire.

There is an ideal of perfection, yes, but you're wrong in that the entity wouldn't have much to do. Just as you have no idea how the concept would work, I'm still working it out in my head and so the entity will need to experiment with the idea (and apply it through his sphere) to see what works and what doesn't.

I expect a lot of trial and error on The Matrices' part to even figure out if its possible for such a thing to occur in general, which I think will be rather fun :D

Plus, I gave The Matrices some leeway so that if such a thing seems impossible, or it loses hope for some amount of time, that it will not just stop functioning and will rather pursue other goals, even if they aren't entirely related to the original (or just don't seem to be initially).

Anyways, I'd like to get a post up methinks.

Oh, consider this: Integrating foreign DNA is likely to (for awhile) cause problems for the organisms and it'll take awhile to fine the right mixture of genetic code that will allow the creature to even 'store' the DNA properly to begin with. Plus, such an ability initially seems completely useless in regards to the creature's individual survival and instincts towards proliferating its genes to the next generation.

Aka it's a development that, unless integrated into the instincts of said creature, would be something that The Matrices would have to either work up to, or would be entirely contrary to certain basic instincts. So there is that.

I've thought it out quite a bit ^_^

Oh yeah, I also plan to have an organism (at some point) which has traits that are both plant-like and animal-like in nature. It should be intriguing to see if I can end up with such a result after a good while~

【Full Name】
Aevus Zarr.
【Alias】
The Time Lord.
【Gender】
Male
【Age】
36.

【Additional Appearances】
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
【Guild Name】
Sabertooth.
【Mage Rank】
A Rank.
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
【Personality】
Careless, unintentionally deceptive, and most of all Humorous. Aevus is a pleasant guy to be around, tending to liven up any situation and add a comical air to things regardless of their intended seriousness. Of course this can be quite the bane, or at least an annoyance, in times of strife or high tension, though it is always nice to have someone to break the ice. He's fun, good humored, in fact a bit too good humored. In fact, within Sabertooth Aevus is said to be the best humored individual, one of the seldom few in fact, having almost every type of humor possible in his figurative arsenal. Some have even thought his magic was related to humor, only to be horribly disappointed and beaten when they found out they didn't have enoughtime to stop underestimating him. Regardless he tends to even be good natured to his opponents, be they sworn enemies, rivals, allies, idiots, geniuses, the whole 9 yards really. He is accepting, open minded, typically calm, and incredibly intelligent to the extent that he tends to almost subconsciously analyze and understand things and people passively. Life is simple to him, he likes t keep it that way, made rather ironic by his love of time --a rather complex concept-- and people in general --who also tend to be incredibly multifaceted. On the other hand, not everyone can get along with him usually due to the fact that he is so spontaneous and constantly humorous that it is not only hard to take him seriously but it can be difficult to tolerate or trust him. Strangely though he tends to be very companionable, though not necessarily loyal, and shows that he keeps his promises as long as they are logically good ideas to keep.

Of course while he is almost always exceptionally good natured, this is not always the case as he can indeed be annoyed. In fact, he is actually capable of being serious, something a good amount of people do not believe. While he can be annoyed and he can be serious, he is almost entirely incapable of true anger, rage, or any emotion of similar nature and intensity. He is eccentric at all times except for when serious, for once he drops all the pleasantries and fun he becomes a deadly, blunt, and all-business-no-bullshit kinda guy, the person who tends to be a horrible stick in the mud. He dislikes getting serious, doing his utmost to avoid it completely as it is as unpleasant for him as it is for others. Not to mention that it reveals to others his true age, while his normal actions and appearance tend to just make one thing he is quite young. This, of course, is false as he is older and far more experienced than he appears making him especially difficult to predict or understand in a battle, or even at a glance. Of course, it's not like he was easy to get anyways.

Arc of Time - Diabolus Ring: Focusing his magical energies into a ring surrounding his body time warps surrounding him and he raises his arm, aiming it at the target of his choice. The ring spins at increased speeds producing several more of itself which flow upwards downwards respectively continuing to move through one another and around Aevus's body. Finally when the energies have reached a peak a low thrum and several frequencied sounds resonate outwards and he proclaims the name of the spell. He then releases the rings from around him, sending them towards the target. The results have only been witnessed by onlookers and several of his guild members. Everyone else was too dead to recall the results.

Beyond these he simply names things on the fly, using basic manipulation and his deep understanding of time to combat his opponents.
Title: The Matrices
Intent: To create a creature who serves as the ultimate medium, devouring other beings and storing their genetic codes in themselves and modifying them into their own. The Matrices wishes to create a being that can both assimilate life and split it off of itself independently, or symbiotically with its own kind. While this entity has no explicit goal to dominate the world which its children live on, it seeks to craft the genetics of a creature that cannot be overpowered by another without either great consequence or a loss of its own self in some manor. The Matrices' mentality is neither objective nor subjective, but rather free flowing allowing it to change and adapt its strategies and thought processes easier than most. While this is its primary intent, The Matrices is unlike most other entities, though it does not know of them, and can choose to change its goal or deviate from it somewhat to experiment.

However, the Matrices is likely to come back to its original goal due to its bias towards such an intriguing creature. Such is its nature.
Meta? How so? I'm just going for something bizarre and unlike the other entities already created. It'll make a bit more sense later I suppose. It'd be a lot like a virus, kind of, that hijacks the DNA of the cells in other organisms and modifies them so as to reproduce themselves.

Idk, I made the goal so that it's interesting and different, but also tweakable if it doesn't make sense or is the like.
Sooo. I have no records of I'onriyi's CS and i remember only fragments of it. Like I've entirely forgotten exactly what he looks like, or his exact height/weight.

I still have the name of his staff (and luckily the pic which is uploaded on my deviantart). I remember bits and pieces of his history, his name, his title, and the basic level of his general capabilities (magical, physical, and mental).

Not really sure what to do. I'll probably make a much shorter, truncated/summary, version of his original CS. So yeah *sighs*
Pretty sure yeah.
Pretty sure it's perpetually open :)
