Well, there are the elements, Fire, Lightning, Wind, Earth, Metal, Water and Ice...and then there is things such as Shadow, Light. My favorite is the body enhancing magic. Otherwise known as Full Body Magic.

Because the language is alot to remember, people usually specialize in certain forces and words. That is what a wind mage would use. In translation that would be called the Gust Dragon's Roar.
