Here is the reason for no abilities, Avis lives on an Earth that will slowly be overrun by super-human beings. And there are attacks that come every now and then. But I was hoping that the limitedness of power with the other chars would cause for some specail think of fighting back those super beings. And the people that Avis meet are regular humans.
