What happened?

An unknown pathogenic alien was acquired by a scientific corperation. Was attempted to be used as a weapon and spread near instantly. It took over the people minds and created a hive system. Patient zero was housed in the moon near Saturn. Patient Zero was actually the peeson my father originally was looking for. But later found she was first to be infected. Some time later an attempt to destroy the moon that housed the initial aliens failed but my father stayed knowing he was gonna die anyways. The radiation that came from the aliens was very high. Killer to humans. He found a way to destroy the moon and all of the aliens by using the drive engines that were attached to the moon and send it to the sun.

Yes. Boring old politics. I'm glad that I'm retiring my position. Many lives were lost under my command during the war with the Crimson Armada. Almost 60 quintillion. Sad thing is, I did everything I could to save them and to save the people under my rule from this, yet it wasnt enough. there is no winner in a war, only who survives. And we managed.
