Sorry for not being active for a while, I will post something tomorrow though! The Dutch shall conquer the globe!... Through mercandise!
I AM THE RIGHT NEIGHBOR.
Even though I may sound like a lunatic, I am always right because...

Wait for it.

Foul heretical witchcraft! We shall cleanse you with holy flame!
I don't suppose there's some kind of political map up to show who all is where, is there?

Not to my knowledge. But since this is a galaxy spanning RP I dont think it's really too important as in something which just plays out on one planet.
Ha! I finally got a post up in days... Not that it's much but it's better then nothing I guess :P
Cardia system, Tallarn space

"We have reports of multiple ships entering real space in our vicinity! It must be hundreds, thousands!" This line was uttered in one for or another dozens of times on the command deck of the TCS "Invictus", a Legate class Dreadnought and flagship of the Cardian defence fleet. Baron Jullaran did not only get these frantic reports from his own bridge but also from all the other ships in his fleet. Slowly he also got requests from other the barons living on Cardia what was going on. In all honesty, he didnt know. Last time he checked the war for the fringe world colony with the Draconians was over and resulted in victory, though at a heavy cost of life. Duchess Azazel had been victorious in conquering the planet and right after that the higher ups brokered a peace agreement with the Draconians. But now... Would the Draconians have betrayed them?

"My lord, we are being hailed by the unknown fleet!" One of the junior communications officers yelled in panic. "What should I do sir!?" Jullaran thought the exact same thing... What should he do. If only the Duchess was there to guide them, she would know perfectly what to do. He was but a mere baron who got his position just by birth right... No, that wasnt true. The Duchess gave him this position, that meant that she trusted him. But what could he do against this?

As he was contemplating things were far less chaotic on the surface. Cardia was probably the worst world to encounter next to Tallarn itself. For Cardia was the gateway to the Confederacy... Cardia was the fortress to protect the Confederacy against invaders. All of the citizens were trained from birth to fight and die for the Confederacy. It supplied over half of the Army's troops and even more of it's commanders. Even the children were to be used to defend the planet, be it as couriers or saboteurs. At this very moment, the moment that the orbital fleet was doubting, the people of Cardia reported in to their assigned posts. The surface-to-orbit weaponry was pointed up in the skies. Tanks and troopcarriers were rolling through the streets and the airforce was preparing to launch. If an invasion were to come, the Cardians were ready.

Ofcourse... that was the theory. But this was the first time any alien force entered Confederate space in centuries. The people on the surface were unprepaired for this and the mobilisation went alot slower then expected. At the moment Jullaran made his decision only 5% of the population was under arms... And half of those were part of active the Planet Defence Force.

After half a minute of thinking someone else hailed the "Invictus". After a brief exchange of words the other end of the line broke it's contact and Jullaran knew what to do.

"Get me in direct control with their commander! Meanwhile, make sure that the fleet will be protecting the defence stations. If any battle were to occur they would prove vital to the defence of the planet." The comms officer responded and asked what the hailing message should be. Jullaran responded with: "That they are on Cardia, souvreign Confederate space and that they are transgressing! We will allow them to state their business, if it's not to our liking then they have half an hour to leave. If they wont accept that offer then we will show them how we Cardians deal with intruders!"

And with that message the Cardian Defence Fleet responded.
Before there is really going to be a heated arguement I would like to point out that Duck doesnt really appreciate arguements and will give you a warning really quickly. After 3 warnings you're banned.

Just take that into consideration and if you want to continue, please take it to PM so you dont get a warning. :)
It tastes so delicious dont you think?

N'kara took another bite out of the meat she had in her hand. The meat was still fresh and tender, exactly the way she liked it. You're in my head arent you? You surely know wether I like it or not, dont you? She could hear the voice in her head laughing. Ofcourse I do and I know you love it. Just wanted to hear you say it.. N'kara was walking on a path through the forest towards the town of Rivenwood to find an inn to rest for the night. She wasnt planning on staying for long as she had other business elsewhere.

N'kara took another bite out of the meat as she walked on. Fine, I like it, happy now or are you going to ask me again the next time I eat it? The voice let out a snicker. What do you think? N'kara let out a sigh. I was afraid you would say that...

Just as she finished her sentence she heard the trampling of hooves, it didnt matter to her so she continued on her path, her cloak blowing in the light breeze. As the sound got closer there was also the sound of plate armour clanging against itself. Behind her was a horseman aproaching, he bore the banner of some Imperial priesthood.

The man, who was of a small stature, hailed N'kara. "Hail traveller. Could you aid me in something?" N'kara covered her face with her hood as she stopped and took another bite of her meat, tearing a piece violently off before she grinned. That depends on what you require of me. The man responded with a hint of amazement: "You're a woman!?" Ooh boy... Wrong choice of words. The man quickly readjusted his speech. "I'm sorry, judging by your stature I assumed you were... ooh nevermind. Anyhow, am the bodyguard of a priest but I euhm... Lost him when he was "blessing" a young woman not far from here." And you want to know if I've seen him? she responded with a grin on her face. "Indeed madam, have you?"

That depends...She turned around and faced the man, even though he was sitting on horseback they met eye to eye. When the man saw her face he turned pale in an instant. What he saw was something which was reminicent of the ghost stories he was told as a child. The woman infront of him had pitchblack eyes save for the near white iris and the pupil was very narrow and long. Her mouth was filled with teeth which seemed to come from a wolf and her face was covered in blood. She slowly turned her hand in which she held her food around to him and what he saw shocked him to his core. ...Is this the man you are looking for? The horribly mutalated head of the priest was resting in her hand.

"Demonspawn!" the man shouted. Before he could do anything else however his horse was already dead. N'kara took one swing at the animal's head and fractured it's skull. With this the horse fell and the man became stuck under it. He was desperatly trying to get the horse off but he had no succes. N'kara on the other hand was taking her time as she walked over to him and eventually towered over the man. He looked up, tears in his eyes. "Please, I have a family! They will die without me!" N'kara bend down next to the man. Ooh well that changes thing. She took one last bite out of the priest's head, ripping away the final piece of flesh. Blood fell on the man as he was crying out to her. "Please, dont let me die like this!" N'kara threw away the head and responded. Well... Alright, because you asked so nicely.

With little effort she pushed the carcas of the horse away. The man couldnt believe it, she had been so close to killing him and now she was helping him? Surely the gods were- Before he could finish his train of thought he had a hand around his troat and it lifted him up in the air, slowly chocking the life out of him. You were right, I could let you die like that. I would much rather do it like this. She grinned widly, baring her teeth. At this point the man was starting to wet himself, thinking that his was the end for him... How wrong he was.

15 minutes later N'kara was continuing her path towards Rivenwood, hoping to be able to get a warm bed and meal. A soft moan was still audible and N'kara smiled, she had her fun for the day. As she was walking away the man was still alive... His hands and feet were impaled into a tree nearby and his entire body had runes carved into him. Another fitting sacrifise to the gods my dear. N'kara smiled. Indeed... Now lets hope that Rivenwood can provide us with some more entertainment then he could. Her bloodlust was tamed and with the totem in honour of the dark gods left in behind her she walked on to Rivenwood.
To answer your first question Zoldyck, the Imperium doesn't contain a traditional pantheon of deities. Rather, they hold worship to something called the Overarching Gateway. They believe that it is a portal leading directly to the void between the worlds.

Alright, is this an organised state religion though or is it something else?
<Snipped quote by Zoldyck>

We'll get back to you with an elaborate answer on that.

I'm usually tolerant on the gore levels, though be reasonable with your descriptions.

Thank you for answering, now I can finally finish my post :P
Will be up later tonight. :)
Another quick question, how high is the gore allowance? Is it Warhammer level of gore or is gore not allowed?
