Looking back on it, it might not have been a good idea to greedily drink that blood so quickly. Anastasia had only just realised how it must have looked like to Alexis. It wasnt just the fact that Anastasia had just drank some blood but the realisation of what Anastasia was that might have frightened Alexis. Anastasia could have banged her head against the table because of her stupidity. For all Alexis knew Anastasia was playing a game with Alexis like how a cat plays with a mouse... Though this mouse would probably not be an easy target... No, stop. Alexis isnt a mouse dammit!
Alexis would probably think of some excuse now to get away from her. Anastasia wouldnt blame her ofcourse. Well, it's been fun having lived as a normal person for a couple of mom-
"It's government food." Wait, what?
"Better than...that other place though." Did she just respond? That was great! Well, sure it wasnt like she was a close friend with her yet but atleast she didnt run away! Progress!
Anastasia looked from Alexis to her food. It didnt really seem all that, euhm, edible. Anastasia cut a piece of, euhm, meat probably and put it in her mouth... Yuck, it tasted like cardboard. Well, she instantly regreted picking that dish. Still, It could have been worse ofcourse... It could have been vegan. But still, ew.
At this point Anastasia noticed that her face was still covered in blood. She licked her lips and consumed the little drips of blood she could salvage. Luckily that odd voice in her head had quit bugging her. It's odd though, back home she never had a problem with a random voice in her head. She used a napkin to clean her cheeks and then looked over to Alexis who at this point seemed to be abit grumpy... How did they solve that in those videos again? Ooh right! With a hug! Though... Looking at Alexis to would probably not be a smart idea to hug her... unless you wanted a fist in your face.
So, instead of making phisical contact, let's try starting a conversation. Great idea... How? Euhm... Yes, this was where Anastasia's lack of social interaction turned out to be a disadvantage, who would have guessed! Okay, euhm, how about she would first ask where Alexis is from. Yeah, that seems like a good idea. Nothing can possibly go wrong with that, right?
Anastasia turned her head to face Alexis and put on a smile.
"So euhm, Alexis... Where are you from?" she awkwardly asked.
