Dillard is 6'5 in height. His skin is fair and his hair and eyes are brown. He prefers darker colors for clothing, usually with a black hoodie, brown tee, and grey or black joggers– chasing the typical grunge aesthetic. He also loves fingerless gloves and plans to have a collection of them He has a lean body with toned muscles.

Dillard is rather friendly and is always open to making small talk even in the most unlikely situations. He is open minded and willing to learn new things. He has a tendency to act stubborn when he feels overwhelmed with responsibility but never refuses a challenge. Lacking tact and critical thinking, Dillard can come off as dumb or insensitive sometimes. He hates feeling cornered and will fight tooth and nail to feel like a bird again. As such, he can risk himself to get a friend out of a tight spot. He has a habit of making a detailed sketch of anything he finds interesting, despite cameras existing. He has a hard time falling asleep even when thoroughly exhausted and wakes up late and full of energy. He is very good at scouting, parkour, and close combat as well. He has no skill in using a gun.

Dillard's mother died when he was five, forcing his dad to raise him alone. Growing up in the community was tough, with less than enough resources, they had to subsist on what they had. Dillard was taught at length about zombies. He was trained by a neighbor in close combat and given a crowbar as a defense he'd need if zombies somehow got past the gate.
At twelve, he was given his first sketchbook. Then, he usually kept to himself; far from home in some alley staring at the wall or doodling with a pen. By the age of fifteen, he began schooling at the local neighborhood's makeshift high school where most of his schoolmates were already good friends. Here, he learns more about the outside world and develops a deep interest in it. He studies hard, keen on finding a cure.
Four years later, Dillard's dad dies of a heart attack while being rushed to the nearest hospital. Now, he sets his mind to get out of the cramped community despite knowing little of the horrors his parents faced.

Dillard has a black rucksack in which he has packed a blue crowbar, a flashlight, a sketchbook, an extra pair of joggers, a full matchbox, some rags, three ball point pens, and a 9mm bullet.
