"Well I don't look dead now do I?" He said rather dryly, holding his own hands up, his left hand twisted around to show the back of his hand rather than the palm. "But no, I'm no survivor myself. Got hired by some anonymous donor to kill this plague. Frankly a quite ridiculous amount of money to do so too." He noticed the one he had passed on the way up, seemingly having a sword of some kind. Really? A sword? What kind of dark age society was he from? Those soldiers though.. he liked the look of those turrets they had set up

"To my knowledge, there's nothing here living that's not plague. Of course, to my knowledge, this guy didn't exist either, so maybe there's some survivor group. I wouldn't count on it."

He sighs at the question of whether he's infected "Do I look like I've been bloody infected? I'm no zombie." He says firmly "But I'd tell your jetpack troops to watch out for any projectiles, those big guys are quite strong from what I've seen."

"Aww..." She pouts, seeming rather disappointed that the knight didn't know who she was looking for, before vaguely gesturing towards the lake "Oh they're somewhere... off that way. Eventau-, Evetan- ...somewhere. Might be a while if you're looking for them."

She perks up at the mention of coming here along, though frowning at the same time, rather paradoxically all things considered. "Well I came here alone unfortanu-... untunfor... sadly. It's like an adventure but I'm all alone, instead of with my sis..."

Cuna nodded to Pirila. Fucking.... "Fine. No f-swearing." Well whatever. He snickered slightly at Dino talking to him, then frowned. Important eventually? He was important dammit!
He eyed Shard as she winks at him, and gives her a wink and grin in return. His eyes widened as he stepped outside and suddenly kinda stopped existing, simply sliding to sit down on the floor, looking around the spaceship or whatever he's in now.

The strange fortune teller would pass the sniper on his way in, who was simply leaning on a wall nearby the door, out of sight from the street. Said sniper would calmly unsling his rifle from his back, quietly unclip the… well, clip from it, and check his ammo, before reclipping it back in and nodding to himself. Now then, how did that one escape the spores…? He knew his own method, but he couldn’t see any respirator or breathing filter on that one, and he highly doubted that it used his method as well.

The sniper shifted slightly towards the window to watch the ships, managing to somehow see the pilot of one even from the distance he was at, noting the strange body armor worn. He watched them fly up towards the rooftop of.. The building he just came down from. He gave a quiet sigh, and reslung the rifle over his back, before breaking into a light jog up the stairs (passing the fortune teller on his way and not saying a word), slowing down not for an instant, and opening the door to the roof only about half a minute after the troops would have landed. Presumably they were here for the same reason he was. Not that he cared, he got paid one way or another as long as he could prove he was involved in the plague’s destruction. He calmly raised his voice towards the troops, knowing silence was no longer a priority given the damnable noise of those engines. “You got lucky, this buildings one of the few clear ones. I cleared it myself on my way down. That said, if you’re looking for anything I’d move fast, they’ll be on their way in.” Hmm, was there anything else..? Oh yes, he had seen something… odd once or twice since his entrance, infected climbing the buildings with ease “And watch the buildings sides, there’s a variant with spider legs or some shit.” ...Oh yeah. It was probably suspicious of his lack of helmet or whatever with these spores around. Too late now, anyways.

Kura grasps randomly at the air above her, soon enough feeling some weird, cool, hand shaped object in the air, pulling herself up with it, and stumbling around a bit. Woah, getting off a ship was weird... She blinked a couple times and looked at the hand shaped object, which had an arm shaped object attached to it, which had an... oh, it was just a knight. She should have figured that out earlier really.

"Oh yeah, I'm fine! Don't worry about-" She trips and falls backwards onto the ground again, before soon jumping back up to her feet "me! I'm fine, totally!" She notices a small scrape on her knee and frowns, placing one hand over it, before removing her hand, and apparently the cut with it, as the scrape was gone. "I'm Kura! Have you seen anybody else around looking, erm, around yay tall?" She holds a hand up... to the top of her own head. "She looks sorta similar to me!"

The city, despite having some operational facilities (at least one of which would be a somewhat functional power supply, given some flickering street lights), seems to completely lack any sort of non-plagued life. Herds of cat-sized Reevers skitter along the streets, down back alleys, looking for any possible signs of life, not that there are any to be found, only more infection. The sky is clouded and a sickly green, but not quite thick with spores. Sure, breathing without a ventilator of some kind would be a fatal mistake, but by no means does it impede vision. The ships approach is easily noticed, as the second a Reever notices it, all nearby infected turn to watch the ship, and begin amassing to assault it once it lands, brutes surrounded by masses of normal infected, reevers diverting their course towards the general area, although it seems the other, more advanced types aren’t joining the area quite yet. Of course, they have quite a distance to go, so some simply stay behind to continue searching for any pocket of life. Not every infected would go after a single threat, of course.

Meanwhile, the sniper sprints his way downstairs, his head snapping to one side as he hears the whine of engines nearby. The hell..? There weren’t supposed to be any functional vehicles left, especially airborne by the sounds of it, or he would have taken one himself… he soon made his way out of the vehicle, easily dispatching the lesser infected in his way, which seemed distracted by the approaching vehicles, whatever they were, anyways, almost stepping out on the street, before waiting around a corner, avoiding the various infected grouping along the streets. Wasn’t his type of fight. Open areas, enclosed spaces, bah.

Kura glanced over at some woman running through the lounge acting all high and self-important and stuff, before looking back at Allysse. "Woah! That's pretty cool!" She frowned as Allysse suddenly stood up and run outside after the self-important lady, glancing over to the door, but not really getting up. Probably something boring like accidentally running into the dock or something like that. Would be more interesting than the rest of the trip, but still real boring.

She ignored Allysse's hand motion to stay there, as she was going to stay right where she was anyways, if it was really interesting, someone would come to bother her directly about it. That's what always happened back at the house. ...usually. WOAH HEY PERSON. She gave a small jump as some pretty girl appeared right in front of her, just kinda there. Had she blinked or something? Or had she taken a nap..? That happened sometimes. Hopefully she hadn't taken a nap and missed anything... "That is pretty cool! ...I mean, assuming I wasn't asleep or anything." She blushed lightly "But yeah, I'm here to find my sister!" Kura exclaimed, excited "And she has cookies too, so I gotta find her before she eats all of them!" Oh! They would probably be docking soon too! She should go up on deck to be the first off! "Be right back. Well.... I guess not as we're kinda getting off. See you maybe eventually I guess!" She jumped up and run out of the lounge onto the deck, after all the commotion had died down, sprinting off the ship, managing to not trip over anything, at least until she got on land, then promptly tripping over the ground not moving "...ow."

Cuna blinked as Fanny suddenly disappeared "Bloody.. cryptic advi-" He blinks in surprise again as Pirila suddenly runs past him down the stairs, and follows her down.

Oh, it was Dino again. Seemed like her... fellow barbarian. Fucking jackass... had been kidnapped. Was that who she was talking about, the one she didn't want him to swear around? Likely. "I can't promise I can do all that much myself" He says dryly, "But I'll help out myself in any way I can."

With that said, there... doesn't seem to be much he can do at the moment, other than wait.

Kura watched the man at another table curiously as he spoke to the person beside him who... didn't exist. Must be insane, he could be fun to hang around with! Oh, someone else was sitting down by her, good, someone to talk to.

She grinned widely and happily took Allysse's handshake, shaking quite vigorously as she does so, before eventually releasing her grin, looking at the woman with an almost mischievous sparkle in her eyes "Hello!~ I'm Kura!" She said rather proudly "Kura Qubus, to be more speficic. Specicic. Spefific. Whatever! That word. Whatever it is. It's good to meet somebody new and fun to hang around with! Anything weird about you? Anything cool? Do you know magic, can you shoot things, you know, stuff like that!"

A girl scampered up to the captain and briefly held a conversation with him, soon leaving with a pout on her face and wandering around the ship briefly. Soon enough, her face suddenly brightens and she goes off to find a corner to sit herself down in, digging into her pouch to pull out a small hand mirror and, oddly, tap the center of it.

She seems to speak quietly into the mirror, laughing aloud and quickly looking around, then quiets back down and scoots away from an approaching crewmember who offers her a friendly smile, returning to talking to her mirror for a time.

Eventually, she waves at the mirror, and returns it to her pouch, leaping back to her feet and grinning. She wanders into the lounge, settling down on a chair and kicking her feet, her grin fading. This was booorinnng. She was booooored. Hopefully someone else would come into the lounge to maybe mess around with. Or talk to, whatever. SO BOOOOORED. That inner revelation took place in about ten seconds of happiness before she got bored.

Eye Colours: She has one Orange eye, and one Purple eye
Hair Colours: Her hair starts off as white and slowly turns to light blue. The hair is about waist-length.

but without arm ribbons, blue decorative ribbon, and the weird thingies that extend from their back. The skirt is also a bit longer, extending to about mid-thigh (halfway between torso and knee).
She also wears gloves like in this image

but black instead of brown. She also has a similar bag and cloak for storage and warmth respectively.

Abilities

Kura knows a spell to conjure several ricocheting projectiles. They're fast, can bounce off of solid objects, and give off light. But they're not lethal, and getting hit by one is like getting hit by a dodgeball ball.
She also has very, VERY basic healing magic that is practically useless when dealing with anything beyond the usual injuries children tend to get while playing.
In addition to the above, Kura has a very minor ability in illusions, which she mostly applies to herself.
She also has the ability to give objects velocity, turning them into erratic bouncing weaponry. This ability is near impossible to control once it’s started, but she can at the least give it a starting direction. This is limited to giving objects around the weight of a brick any reasonable velocity, although she can make large objects move slowly.

Inventory: A single (stale) cookie wrapped in paper, a hand mirror, and a large, but nonspecific amount of money in a pouch.
Weaknesses: Although capable of advanced magical expressions necessary to do her magic, she has little knowledge of basic arithmetic and math in general. She’s a decent liar, but very bad at reading others lies. She’s also a child, so not particularly skilled or strong.

Backstory: Kura is one of a pair of similar princesses from a different continent. Most of her childhood was spent playing with her sister and learning about boring politics, in addition to magic. Her and her sister eventually snuck off to go find adventure and made their way onto a ship. After arriving on the coast, they ran into trouble, and were forced to separate. So far, Kura has not been able to locate her sister, although she’s searching in the town.
