After tonight I think of a solution to my problem. I live in a college town so there is campus wide wi-fi. I'm gonna start bring my laptop on close deliveries. :P

Yeah, that took... A LOT of collaborative planning and effort from out last run. Luckily, we won't have to worry about that for the next year because of it! \o/

Edit: And it's a 13hr time difference from Japan to East Coast, iirc.

Edit x2: Uh... I believe Ninja and Caits are in OCE time, but they have to deal with university stuff to they'll prob be on early their time or late their time. Or both, if they're lucky.
I'm on East Coast (obv) and have school to worry about, so expect more posts from me from 4 to 10 EST, if anything.
I'd recommend we actually get some general timezone ideas out there so we know what to expect.

I'm sort of making my own maps, since the Mine-crad map isn't exactly accurate (though it is pretty damn detailed). Lake is supposed to be in the northeast, forest in the northwest, and a small mountain range behind the two.

My personal vote is No.
XP and leveling up is rarely a problem if the GM's moderate it and make sure someone doesn't lose their mind and lvl their char out of control and for this kind of RP, which very well may have a few time skips involved, it would be a waste of time and effort (especially for the GMs) having to track/manage the exact xp gains for 20+ people.

I just wanted to get something up quickly. So I used that, and used an editing program to add in new towns and such. If you would love to share your map, and if I like it...I could use that instead

@Caits
I just wanna say you should keep the RP enjoyable for you. I am not going to say whether we should follow through with the XP thing or not, since either way, it will be fun, but keep in mind that you should enjoy the RP. Don't make it a second job. Just wanna say that. But good luck on the decision! :P

That is quite a good view. Honestly, trying to monitor all the experience is hard. As well as monitoring all the posts. Which I have to go back and reread now that I am home and have hours free.

this view is also why I am contemplating another co-gm, especially one that can cover the times Ninja and myself are asleep or busy.

Actually, with the keeping track of levels and exp, if I were to integrate the data into the site, when I make it, it is possible to just have it track for us.
Of course, data control would be required, but I have ways to handle that
It would be more so, someone deciding to kill 100 enemies suddenly, and putting in 1000 into the system but, yeah , doubt it will happen.

Anyway, I plan to integrate it, but not enforce it, more so as my own practice for programming and web development
Personal development if you will
If you guys like it, it might be enforced, otherwise, yeah
The EXP and levels are just guidelines at the moment, as I said previously
So people have an idea of how much they would need to do to level and such

Anyways, @Caits Sith, I honestly would go with either one as they both have their merits and weaknesses. I know that whatever choice made will be the right one as its all up to you and how you have it play through. As for a gm, have a general consensus or pick a person here that you know is competent enough to gm, trustworthy and is in a proper time zone that allows you to extend your reach.

That's my advice. Anyways, adieu, I'm going invisible and to sleep, night!

Haha, I draw it with my pencil, not my computer. I don't have a tablet.
