So I'm thinking, to facilitate a few more entries, we can maybe postpone the deadline to the 5th of July (gives people one extra week/end to hammer something out). We'll probably have to tighten up the review period a little bit, but that shouldn't be a big problem (especially if *sniff* @KeyGuyPerson and @Ellri aren't supplying the usual installments). Would this help anyone get something in? I don't wanna do it if we're just wasting TTL time, but if it's legitimately going to open a door for you to enter the contest, then I'll make it happen.

Also, do stop by our theme ideas thread and help us figure out what to do next. Cosmos was my idea and it's flopping a little -- so we need YOUR inputs to do better! Let us know what you wanna see.

Wait no screw that,

Please gimme the time; my brain's only giving me fractured pieces to the puzzle known as my entry, along with the 30th being when piles of school work's due in. Typical.

On that note, I think Cosmos is a wonderful idea, maybe just a bit too large? What you could have done is split it in two, one being actually out in space; starwars, startreck and the like, while the other focuses on the mythological side of things.
It might have made a difference, it might not. :)

We've simply been too busy GMing. And RLing. We'd have written something in those days, but we'll need have a keyboard most of those days. Tablet typing isn't as quick or natural-feeling.

Those two were suggested by our lovely staff, and I rolled them together. My fault!! It's no sweat though, we're all here to learn what works and what doesn't. "Literally everything in the universe" was apparently not quite focused enough. C'est la vie.

Well, in any case, let's just call it a July 5th deadline -- put forward what you can, and chip in with suggestions where applicable, and we'll keep improving. Team effort and such.

Don't you worry, mdk. With the deadline as it 'was'? So is July 5th the new deadline? ANYWAYS, if it wasn't. I'm still going to be submitting an entry. Whether it's wholly finished or not, I'd still put it in just to get thoughts on whether people like the progress and such. It's also not a fan fiction, god I was so tempted to blast this contest entry with an epic Revan fanfic but I decided on something different.

I hope you're into a bit of sci-fi horror… That's all you get.

Only 4 entries? Hm, with my other writing mostly done and the extended deadline I might be able to get something on paper. Or, you know, in Word. It will be something short though.

Edit: And I have worked out the idea I had from when I first read about the theme. I will read it over tomorrow to check for spelling errors and probably submit it. ^_^
