Danica smirked as Armend mentioned the foot powder. "I have been telling him that for years but he never listens," she said as she glanced back over to Sean. "Okay man, brace yourself, this is gonna suck," she warned as she pinned hos shoulders down with her elbows and locked his legs in place with her thighs; trying not to laugh as Armend hummed.

Sean's eyes widened as he watched Armend and attempted to scream as his wound was cauterized but could only manage muffled cries of pain as Armend worked; trying to flail bit Danica kept him pinned in place until Lonestar was done working. Once he was Danica hopped up and grabbed her bag, pulling out a first aid kit and bandaged his foot up.

"There you go twinkle toes," she said before putting her stuff back in her bag, grabbing a few more clips and a katana for good measure before looking over at Armend. "I think we need to give him the raspberry," she said with a laugh as she made her way towards the dining building as she snatched her hoodie from Sean's mouth; who was still laying on the floor whimpering.

"Bloody hell, help me up woman!" Sean grumbled and Danica just kept walking. They were safe for now it seemed, he could deal with this himself for a while.

Otis shrugged at Zomura's comment on the Irishman, and said, "Whatever you say, babe." He gave a hearty laugh after his words. He held his firearm in one hand, pointed towards the ceiling. "But I'll follow you, boss. For now. Till the army shows up." He said.

His attention was suddenly diverted towards the display of cutlery on the wall. Something that piqued his interest was the kukri knife. "Ohhh?" He grinned mischievously as he took it from the wall. He let his firearm hang by the sling as he unsheathed the knife. It was as beautiful and sharp as ever and he took an instant liking to it. He sheathed it and attached it to his field load carrier. He looked exactly the way he thought he looked; like a partisan fighter.

"I would say I feel badass, but I always feel badass." He picked up his gun in hand, and followed behind Zomura, turning and walking backwards out of the armory. "Let's leave Sean, his name, yes? Here, in the compound. He can do administrative work or something, like cleaning and cooking. It's safer. We don't need more zombies to fight."

“No one dares give you the raspberry, yes?” Armend laughed as he saluted Armend before walking off behind Danica, eager to fill his stomach with what he could before the scene turned dark and rather tasteless dinners conquered their afternoons.

He slung the sword he retrieved across his back next to his rifle, and shifted in his armored suit a little as he walked, getting used to the increase in weight after his resupply. After a few steps everything seemed to fall and place, and his suit felt as home as a cotton blanket under the autumn moon, only this could actually keep night time monsters at bay.

A small creeped across his lips as he thought about how silly it would be fighting monsters with blankets, but how sillier it would be if it worked. Suddenly he was thinking about how one could fight with a blanket. Maybe as a distraction to catch the offenders off guard, or as a cushioned shield against blows when wrapped around the arm.

He snapped out of his thoughts suddenly, and his eyes blurred and fixed back onto reality. He coughed, “I vonder vhats for dinner.” He said trying to find something worth while to focus on.

“Of course not, they’ll go plaid if they do,” Danica joked as she wandered into the dining hall, glancing around at her surroundings as she laced her hoodie back around her waist before taking a seat. They had shelter for now, a wall between them and whatever hordes lay out there, food, weapons and people. It seemed to fall into place but she wondered just how long it would last. These type of holdings never seemed to last long in the movies or the T.V. shows and the sad fact of the matter was that it wasn’t usually the zombies that were the biggest issue. It was the people themselves. Even in instances where a group truly bonded and looked out for each other, there were always others that came along to disturb that peace, thinking they could just snatch it away and it would be theirs. They were usually always wrong. Human nature, no matter the situation, always seemed to be the biggest issue and the rest was just decoration for the scenario.

Looking around at the group, they seemed to be well rounded enough and thankfully were able to communicate with each other though things perhaps would get lost in translation over time. Sliding her elbow along the table, she rested her head in the palm of her hand and sat there; drumming the finger of her free hand on the cool surface as she thought. Glancing over towards Otis she nodded slightly to his earlier comment about Sean. “Yeah, probably would be best if he wasn’t on the outside. The man can climb right along-side me up a vertical rock face and not break a sweat; but seems he would just cause more issues out there than in here. I swear if I hear him scream again I am going to duct tape his mouth shut,” she groaned slightly.

Sean had been her photographer for years and she depended on him to help her get the job done but the job was different now. She doubted she was going to be conquering any mountains anytime soon or need any photographs for a travel article. Seeing the sites of Toyko without being bitten might not be the exactly what the magazine was looking for anymore. Then again, who knows, might be able to trade ammo for a survival brochure soon.

Rolling her head slightly on the palm of her hand she looked over towards Armend and smiled. “After this morning, hopefully not noodles,” she said with a slight laugh and then cringed inwardly as she thought back to Sean losing his breakfast after she killed the zombie on the way to the compound. She could gut a creature without flinching, dead people didn’t bother her; a person upchucking though was never a fun experience to her.

“If we are going to be here long term, or even have the hope of being here long term, we might want to keep an eye out for seeds when we are on runs. You know, like a garden center or a home improvement place. Somewhere we can get seeds, repair things like cement, fencing, etc. Once the stores run out of items we will have to grow things ourselves. And we have no idea if this zombie disease is going to affect wildlife, so the meat supply might dwindle quickly as well. Hate to say it but we may have to go red neck at one point; you know grow food and herd our own animals to keep going,” she commented as her finger drew spirals over the table top. “That and a way to collect and purify water for drinking. We have no idea how long this will last, might as well plan for the long run. “

Meanwhile Sean had finally managed to make it to his feet, using his tripod as a makeshift cane and eventually hopping into the dinning hall. Seeing Danica he grumbled a bit before he hobbled over to a free spot away from the rest of the group and collapsed into a chair; pulling another chair over to him he was able to prop her injured foot into it and just tried to remain quiet. He felt like a complete fool the way he had screamed earlier and the incident with the gun was likely to make him look like the weakest link, which in his mind meant that he would be first to be offered up for zombie chum.

Zomura proceeded into the kitchen, the tables and seats in the eating chambers of the building were different then most. The chairs where pillows and he tables for eating were like trays almost. He began to prepare something for their little gang and started by steaming up some rice. While that proceeded he began to pull out some beef and cut it into strips and began to boil it. Yumiko took a seat and just watched him cook. While the beef began to cook and boil he began to chop up various vegitables such as a few peppers, a couple onions, and even some cabbage and then tossed it into a frying pan once he had it all done. He then proceeded to add a few spices to it giving it a little kick.
Once it was done he turned the fryers down to a simmer and then drained the water to the beef and added it in. Stiring it around until it was mixed in.

He then began chopping some raw fish as well for sushi incase anyone wanted it. IT was fine sliced salmon recently brought in from the fish markets. He then checked the rice and nodded. He then proceeded to put that said rice into bowls putting the main entree on a dish and then took them out and placed them on trays. He then took out a seperate tray which held the sushi.
The meal looked like something you would get from Panda express only this time it was made in a country that actually cooked the stuff.

Zomura took to slices of the sushi and placed it on his rice. Yumiko moved to sit close by. "Can you pass the sushi?..." She asked him and he did so. She took a two slices and put one on her rice while she proceeded to stuff her mouth with the other. It was good and she almost forgot how hungry she was earlier. The food quickly reminded her of it.

The manager got out of the limo quite angrily as he grabbed opened the door for Kazumi with some sort of aggression, he hated being forced into this kind of stuff; he wanted his money and he just wanted everything to get back to normal. Kazumi got out slowly before the manager slammed the door and grabbed her arm, forcefully whispering in her ear while her quiet squeaks for help were ignored by the manager ‘Don’t you dare, do anything rash!! do you understand??’ as to which Kazumi nodded. After being shoved away by the manager Kazumi looked to Tzu in shame, she has never experienced her manager being this aggressive before with her.

While being shoved away she fell onto the floor but got up quickly and adjusted herself as much as she could before the manager told her off for not keeping her clothes clean ‘Tzu! I am ready!’ she projected softly’

Armend found himself nodding slowly at Danica’s words, she was right, they needed to start thinking long term. He looked over to the raw fish and he crinkled his nose, “do you have anything that preserves better? I feel ve are going to have to take a few trips to the market, and perhaps to some farmland.”

He didn’t want to come right out and say it, but it might come to just simply raiding a hopefully abandoned farmland and confiscating the goods and seeds. The more human side of him hoped it would come from a more or less farmerless farm, but the idea of it coming from a living farmer seemed little more than simply thievery.

His mind opted to a more realistic and innocent idea, “Markets, vhere are they, and do you know ov any out skirted farmers markets ve could visit, less population.”

His mind started to buzz again, “I also suggest a roster of everyone this area holds, so we can ration correctly.”

Danica perked a brow at the cooking, it wasn’t that she didn’t appreciate it but she was worried about where things would go from here and how to survive in the long and short term. Fixing a more grand scale meal didn’t exactly seem wise to her. Reaching over she picked up a piece of sushi and then pulled her lighter out of her hoodie pocket; flicking it a few times before it lit and then holding the flame under it for a moment until the fish cooked before handing it over to Armend. “Nothing a little fire can’t fix,” she said with a chuckle before grabbing a piece for herself and just eating it as it was. “But might want to get used to raw food, we might not have access to a stove for long,” she said as she leaned back slightly.

“But yeah, you’re right. We are going to need to ration food stores, which always seem to be one of the biggest problems in all the movies. Food runs out and then you’re not only tired, stressed and trying to dodge some Zombie Sailor Moon but on an empty stomach as well,” she said as she laced her fingers behind her head and let her back stretch out. “And if we could walk here this quickly, it won’t take others to try to break in and a horde to follow. This might be good for a day or two but being this close to a major city doesn’t sit well with me. I honestly would rather be further out in the country side.”

The Kitchen

"This here compound has roughly twenty armed men including my Uncle, skilled in the ability to use their guns. Also let me remind you this isn't Hollywood. Basing our survival on them isn't all that smart, but if you want to go look for a better place.... be my guess. There's the gate, you can leave when ever you want. Plus those gates are pretty solid and one can't easily slide through them. Plus with twenty men, we could easily assign guard duty for night watch or even during the day. If someone wants to try and steal from the Yakuza, they can damn well try and get shot for their efforts." He said. He then looked to the rice. "Did you know japanese soldiers in the war could live on one bag of rice for a week or more? this here compound has a stockpile of it in the back. The reason I am preparing sushi is because its easy to prepare and you don't have to cook it. However, like Armend just said, the fish will go bad. Hopefully between us and twenty men including my uncle. The fish will be eaten before it is rotten. " He then looked to the door and the cars. "Being closer to the city makes it easier on the gas that we have when we have to go hunting for supplies. Another thing that I do believe in is ammo rationing as well. Unlike the movies where they seem to have unlimited amounts of ammo, we will have to look for more."

"But you two can go ahead and leave whenever you want. Until Yumiko's ankle get's better we ain't going anywhere. Besides could be worse,... we could be in a place with no walls and with fences that can easily be pushed down by zombies. Unless the know how to climb I don't think they will get over the ones outside. I have a lot of trust in my men, they won't let such a safe haven as this be so easily compromised. Again, don't rely too much on what happens in the big screens. The only thing I see will be a problem is likely food supplies once the rice runs out, and of course ammo."

He then looked into the kitchen and sighed at the mentioning of the stove. "As for the stove,... I know a few places where we can get electric ones. I also have a cousin who is in the business of selling solar panels. We grab one of the trucks in back and take a drive and relieve his shop of all that it has and take it back here and we will have power for a very long time. We can use some of the same trucks to hit the markets close to the ocean and several super stores in the city and take all the canned food and rice we can. As for guns and ammo,.... we got a warehouse full of the stuff in town." He then pointed to the gun Armend was carrying. "Who do you think likely gave him the weapons he is using. He surely did not smuggle them in here. They came from one of the five family's. We also have facilities like this compound all over the country. My next move is to get in contact with them and let them know what has happened.... I think we can be safe here. The country side of Japan is not as safe as you would think, those movies always lacked one thing and that was the animals. You should also trust in my words when I say them. I have lived here in Japan for all of my years. I know where we can find things, and I have a good idea as to where we can go when this place fails.... but you can go ahead and go of course. I don't think you will find a place as safe as ours and as accepting as well."

Yumiko watched the talk and placed her hand on Zomura's. "We can give them a car though and they can spend what time they can to locate another place, and leave our arms open to them when they give up on looking. It is hard to convince certain people what is safe and what is not. Hollywood has given a sugar topping to such things and each movie or show is so different sometimes that you don't know which would be true or not. It is best to let the foreigners find out on their own." She then gestured with her head towards Sean. "Especially when they have someone like him to take care of,... no offense but you have not really proven your ability to survive and we are only on day 1. It will only get worse and I highly doubt there will be anyone like the Governor, but then again who knows. I will take my chances here. Twenty people with guns can be rather intimidating to outer parties. As for zombies... with the gate being the only way in. If we saved our bullets for humans, we could use the swords and melee weapons to clear any zombies from the gates and then burn them. Seeing as ashes will take less room out there then bodies." She then sighed and looked back to Zomura. "It also wouldn't hurt in a day or two to scout the area around us and see what we can use or at least a fall back point. I say we let them go even with a few of ours. With two are three other men they could make some progress."

"Of course when you two do go scouting leave your photographer here,... we might be able to find some use for him and until his foot heals he will be useless to everyone." She said, as if he wasn't useless to begin with. She then patted on Zomura's hand. "It's good to plan ahead, we will also have to find things so we can prepare for the seasons. I noticed that is sort of non existant in the zombie films too, or am I the only one who noticed winter never came to the cast of the walking dead?" Either way they had to scout and take what resources they needed. Whether they stayed here or not. This beautiful property will have to be... re landscaped?.. "Also get used to the beautiful property, it wont last long. If we do stay here we will have to tear some of it up and put in livestock and rice patches in here. Luckily we are in Japan where rice is pretty common, growing it wont be too hard and we can live on it for a long time compared to other things."

Zomura sighed and knew Yumiko was right and Danica somewhat. "Okay we will let Yumiko recover some here while we will send out teams of two starting tomorrow, with the zombie infestation in it's early stages. The best times for foraging are now. First things first we need ourselves a map. It should give us a layout of the country and I can always add a few spots. I don't want us using google maps because we might want to use the phones for when we need to call one another. Do not use your guns on zombies, save it for the insane people. Ammo is not scarce yet,... don't need to make it a reality by wasting it on zombies. Also perhaps once Sean's foot heals the irish man here can learn how to handle himself and give us one extra helper. Tell then he will have to make himself useful in other fields. Like maybe setting up shop in one of the towers on the walls and being a lookout."

Danica perked a brow slightly but listened, sighing slightly as she leaned back in her seat. “No, not basing everything off what I have seen on TV but just making a general analysis of the situation. The CDC back in the states even has a Zombie Survival Guide up on their website, it’s all in fun of course, but it gives basic survival information that can be used in all situations. With the movies and TV, their more like a long list of possibilities, none of us know what can and will happen. Just felt it was best to be prepared for the worst,” she said as she leaned forward and rested her elbows on the table.

“Tokyo has a big population, not going to lie, that worries me. Everyone out there is a potential Zombie and the potential for a big hoard is all I am saying. I’ve always been more comfortable on the side of a mountain in the middle of nowhere. Doesn’t mean I am going to be an idiot and go trekking into the wilderness, even if I have climbed here in Japan before,” she said trying to explain her view on things without causing issue. “And even if we did leave, we would need to as a group and with healthy people that are healed and trained up a bit on survival in general. Her ankle, his foot, that kind of puts a damper on a lot no matter what we plan.”

“Now, if you want to set up rice paddys here, that sounds like a good idea. Would take a lot of water though is my only concern, so goes back to some type of water catch and filtration system. With the fish, we could dry them out to preserve them better, same with other meats, so we wouldn’t have to worry about spoilage. Also along with the rice, might want to look into cultivating a type of bean as well. Together they would provide an overall base diet of both calories and protein, something we are going to need.” She said before looking over at Sean and sighing deeply, that man was either going to end up killing himself or be the cause of someone else if he didn’t start paying more attention and toughen up some.

Outside

Tsu nodded to Kazumi and instantly rose his gun up and towards the manager gesturing to the gate. "We will have none of that here. The world is different now. No one will miss you,... No one will come to save you." He gestured with a nod to one of his men. The man instantly drew forth a Tanto and placing its fine blade against the fat managers neck. It only slid but a inch and already blood was drawn. Tsu then followed as the man began to lead the manager outside. "In this new world,... Never let anyone treat you like that,... Now while my men escort him out. Lets get you better fitted.

He took Kazumi to the armory and rose a brow. Zomura must had already been here. He then moved to a Ak74u,... It was black and designed to be tactical with a nightscope and even a tiny light modification below the muzzle. He grabbed it and a clip. He stood in front of her with the rifle facing her as he slid it in to show her how to load it. He then cocked back spring to get a bullet chambered. He then showed her a switch. This switch on the gun would change modes from auto to semi-auto. He then handed it to her. He then grabbed a ammo belt and helped her put it on. There were three pouches full of the 5.56mm and 4 pouches with 10mm clips in them followed by a holster carrying a Usp.

He stepped away and nodded. He then began to hand he a kevlar vest as well as armor for her arms and legs. "These will protect you from getting bit." He said and afterwards guided her out of the armory. Letting her choose her melee weapon.
