Right...hope it was worth the wait.

So read the post and lets get purging some xenos.

Currently you are located in a corridor within the bowels of the Dark Eldar Cruiser, if your character has any questions then Roa is constantly 'on the line' and will do his best to guide you. Right now you're just leaping out of the transport and I assume forming a perimeter - or I'd suggest that... - but we'll get moving soon enough.

It was decent.

If by 'make a perimeter' you mean obliterate all life on board starting with a path of death to the bridge, then sure, we'll do that.

I need to think out my next move. In tight spaces I'm not much use with the tac marines+ so I may have to be a mary sue and go lone wolf once we reach a split of passages, take at least a few dark eldies by surprise. Besides, I'm not being ordered around by someone who is neither a Captain nor an Ultramarine.

@Zelosse You want to run off by yourself and shoot some Eldar? Go ahead, but I'd imagine you're more likely to encounter twisted slave-things than full-blown Dark Eldar warriors at this point.

I think what they went was: will we describe attacks and you describe the results or will we describe the whole attach and reaction from the npc

basically "I shoot my bolter at the thrall, aiming for its stupid face" vs "I blast the thrall to bloody gibs with my bolter"

the first gives you control over how successful we are where so we don't just godmode our way through everything but the latter lets us be way more descriptive in our combat maneuver because we know what we are doing will work but you have to rely on us self limiting our success.
you probably knew this already so I apologize if this sounded patronizing.

@DracoLunaris No worries...hhhmm...then I would say to go for the latter for now; attack what and how you like to start with, once you get to the harder adversaries then I'll take a hand in it.

Suddenly, one of the pipes along the damaged wall burst and started shooting fumes into the corridor. Powerarmor cogitators immediately identified the vapors spectroscopicly as steam, but it could have been anything noxious on a xeno vessel. It was a sign to gtfo before this corridor caught fire for whatever reason.

"Killteam advance!" Everyone was in position, and with eyes on Drascal and Victor, Aldaric gave the order to move. Sounds were already moving toward them from in front, and now the view in back was obscured by white clouds. There was little time before the Dark Eldar realized that they had been boarded. A stormshield and bolterfire would be the first and possibly only thing the xenos would witness before hitting the floor.

I... I am sorry. I was not pissed in the least. I did not realize I had come across that way. Please forgive me, everyone. I will tread more cautiously.
