I have lost way too many hours of my life trying to "git gud", to use the parlance of our times, at Skullgirls. It's one of those games where I enjoy playing it with friends, because we are all equally bad at it. Same goes with any of the BlazBlue games.

I'm more interested in finding friends than RPing though for the most part. Good friends are hard to come by. You know, the type that invites you to parties and the like? Dunno why they're so hard to find >.>. And usually you can't invite online buddies to parties since they are across the globe. I want a reason to cook! Oh well

I couldn't agree more. Me? I'm just here because I'm bored. Also, I'm interested in writing and I'm trying to figure out whether I would like to seriously study the technical aspects of this craft. I've written a few short stories over in reddit writing prompts. My writing isn't the best (far from it) but I am having fun exploring this medium.

Sort of! I make cakes and breads, a friend of mine has a little pop-up cafe sort of thing, he sells them there. I did do a stint at a proper bakery once, and it really was not that much fun at all. Great big machines that do all the work is Very Convenient, but Not Fun.

Apologies for the double post, but I've managed to make a post with ten minutes to spare. I have a second part to the post planned, but it's more of a "Meanwhile, On The Far End Of The Galaxy..." thing that mostly explains a throwaway comment, and so can wait until later on.

@ValorIt's really, Really, REALLY minor, so don't panic about it, but Elarin would still be asleep, or resting at least, while the job ad was printed, unless someone intentionally wakes him first, or the food arrives.

Also sorry to everyone if this seems like I'm trying to avoid interaction: Elarin doesn't trust autopilots that much, and no one else seems to be able to fly the ship very well, so I thought it'd be fun to have him be suffering the effects of the intergalactic equivalent of an all-nighter drive from one state to another.

I'll have Toony not go all nanobot on baddies for the most part. After all, she doesn't like being serious and will probably be pretty lazy or snarky at boarders. Otherwise you have that episode in Futurama with Bender turning into nanobots xD. After all, I'm assuming this is much more like Futurama, just food based.

I was at the movies all day so sorry I couldn't get a post up til now. Writing on my end is a bit sloppy but I had a lot of ground to make up xD.

@DepressedSoviet@DracoLunaris Your characters probably should already know that Toony is made out of nanobots and what they do, so your free to say what she can and can't do. You two are her bosses after all xD.

So I'll assume protection was one reason Toony was hired onto the crew. She seems the most combat oriented out of everyone. Though most robots tend to be very combat proficient anyway. xD.

If everyone could please let me know in character or in the ooc if you have some preference for which mission we go on(as I think we currently have 1 suggestion). because I am assuming as both the captain and 80% of the tables voting base I will be the one with the final say in what we do in the end, so we actually leave the restaurant at some point(@Hylozoist please correct me if i am wrong on this) and will be doing so after everyone has a post about the news letter. sorry if I missed any that have been made so far for the yes camp, let me know if I have.

@DracoLunaris Eh, I did say Toony's stance on the whole thing. Shes rightfully scared of military grade combat since they most certainly have EMP devices that would totally wreck her plus after that little bit with Will shes getting quickly attached to this crew but doesn't care about any of the other missions too much. But probably mission 2 if she had to pick something since it deals with food.

EDIT: Though come to think of it, the party sounds like a great time. Wonder if a robot can get drunk? Or think shes drunk. Dunno who she'd hit on though.

One of the responsibilities of wearing the Captain's Hat(s) is being the one with the final say; while I think it'd be awfully nice to make sure everyone - or most of everyone - is on board for any given course of action, the Captain(s) is (are) the one(s) with the final say. If it just so happens that the Captain wants X and everyone else wants Y one too many times, I can dust off the folder entitled "ISF: Mutiny Aboard The Quest For Flavour!" and see how it plays out.
