Right, right. That does remind me that technically, the Jotunheim doesn't have very much in the way of energy shielding at all. This would make cooperation with at least the Trekkies helpful, if we could work together on getting some energy shields for my ship up and running. I know the R-type universe had optical shielding technology available at the time (see the R-9B Strider's tech) but just couldn't apply it in general for their ships.

Removing the second polity thing might be a good idea, or they can only have another if their's dies, same as we have with Penultimate really. Sure thing, where would you prefer the Int. check? Advanced, or General? (As I guess you already have one in Casual anyway.)

I was thinking. The lightspeed the Exodus achieves is made by bluespace, and there's erp lizard birds named the Vox, which live in Bluespace. Their leaders are partially made of Bluespace. Anyone up for a Vox shipjack coming out of bluespace with my station when I finally retreat from the Empire?

EDIT: Also second app, Gratuitous Space Battles or EYE Divine Cybermancy?

Can I point out again that we don't all need second ships. So far the people to have them we are disposing of our current vessels. I just want ot make that clear with everyone talking about adding a second ship. Rainbow, you have had a couple of issues keeping up to date due to real life issues. Can I propose that you wait until you know you have time before you go adding a second ship?

Also I shall add that second ships get extreme GM scrutiny and may not even be accepted even if you got your first ship in. I mention that in the rules somewhere.

I was going to re-write some bits but didn't want to tread on your toes good sir. I'll have another look tomorrow then too. Me going to bed too. I hope the cats and the wife have left me some room......

Well, I am back. Yay. As for linking up, I figure my guys may be going far away, but like any good FTL system, they can get dragged out by gravity wells, like ones they don't see coming.

Sad about the Osprey. I was looking forward to having them as part of my posse :p Now I'm stuck with Mr. "Unsubtle" Halo over here.

I did have a thought that perhaps some remnant of the Engi crewman that got murdered by Cade kinda hitched a ride back and survives as like a data fragment in the AI core, but I haven't played FTL so I don't know if that's how it works.

Not to far off at all. Im coming up with an idea right, now Caden kinda...went insane from a defect in his memory core casing interacting with the odd radiation from the Extra-Universe jump. Its a working concept. I should be back for awhile. Management cant get their shit together so we are just sitting in our "Vans" (AKA, Starbucks) Waiting.

I was rather hoping our AI's could have a chat at some point Noble. Valerie cant do the whole ship invading thing due to the nature of her hardware and software, but she can definitely still talk to people over comms with the incredible speed at which AI's communicate.
