Hey GuySenpai-- can you throw a few enter keys into your last few posts there? Big walls of text like that are kinda tough to follow. Especially with all the dialogue.

Heya everyone, heard there may have been some spots and got my butt right quick over with a Baklava approved Char.

Name: Nil

Age: 17

Race: Round-eared Hylian
Gender: Male

Appearance:
Nil is of a medium build with an average height of 5’ 9.5’’, his hair is the color of the calm blue sky and his eyes are the color of the setting sun, amber. His skin is somewhat tanned from spending so much time outside but is for the most part covered by regular pants and a hooded vest that seems like it may have been too small for Nil had it not been resized many times and had two cuts placed at the shoulder on both arms.

Theme Song:

Personality: Kind, Caring, Stubborn, Coward, Confidence issues, Calm.

Backstory: Nil had been born to a mother and father who, were from what he remembered before they died, loving and caring people. After they had died when he was 8 the village that he grew up in, located northwest of Lon Lon Ranch, began to see him as a nuisance despite the fact that He tried to be helpful to everyone when he could, and although they were bitter towards him they never let him starve or sleep in the cold. It was when he was 15 that the village began to receive very sparse rumors about Ganondorf coming back. Hearing this the village elders began made a decision that Nil learned of on his 17th birthday and that was to send him out as the hero of the village to seek out answers and if he encountered evil to vanquish it. It was ridiculous and Nil was all ready to argue against it and the fake excited faces that the townspeople wore, two birds with one stone send someone out to collect information and get rid of the freeloader but he stopped when a little girl he’d known since she’d been born bore genuine hope on her face. He couldn’t bear to destroy such hope and so he left without a word.
He spent months on the road learning what he could, and none of it was either good nor definitive. Some said that nothing was wrong while others said that Ganondorf was free and rampaging across the world. Then Nil began to hear the whisper. He ignored it for the first few nights chalking it up to the wind playing tricks but after those few nights began to yell at it to leave him alone, a week gone by and he was arguing with it to leave him be, that he wasn’t a hero and the only thing that depended on him was himself. After the second week he just gave up and began to travel towards Kakariko for the festival hoping that simply going there would make the whisper go away.

Skills/Talents:

1.Blinking (MS): Quick short ranged (~25 Feet) light based teleportation of himself or others/objects. Nil must be touching in order to Blink something else and the larger something is the shorter the distance that Nil can blink it. He is also capable of controlling orientation when blinking and can blink onto the other side of a wall though that has its dangers of not quite teleporting correctly and ending up inside the wall.

2.Drawing (PS): A large part of Nils spare time is devoted to drawing which he loves and cherishes. He likes most of all to draw scenery from an open field at sunset or a town on a normal day. As such he has managed to be able to quickly memorize what he sees and it has become almost like breathing to memorize what he sees so he can draw it later.

3.Hiding (SS): Nil has, in his travels, managed to learn to hide very well from those who would harm him. This is made easier with being able to Blink as he can get to a hiding spot that his pursuers wouldn’t think to look.

4. Short spear (FS): Fighting with a short spear is about all Nil knows when it comes to fighting he’s fairly adept at wielding his short spear but rarely has a chance to use it. That’s not to say that he doesn’t practice with it as doing so put him at ease for some reason.

5. Dodge ‘n Run (FS/SS): When hiding doesn’t work there is always the more direct approach of just getting the heck outta dodge and run like the wind.

6. Hunting (SS): Nil has never been the best hunter and never will. However most animals don’t expect a human to suddenly appear beside them with a spear driving into their gut, so Nil doesn’t starve.

7. First aid (SS): Running from people leaves one not only weary but usually covered in injuries. Nil has gotten okay at patching himself up enough to run again without being hindered by his injuries for the most part.

Goal(s): To find a village or town where no one is trying to make him out to be some sort of hero that he isn’t or maybe even return to his own village to live out a peaceful life.

Inventory:
1 Short spear
1 Pad of drawing paper
1 Set of drawing pencils
enough dried jerky to last till the end of the week.
1 canteen of water

Wallet: 1 rupee

Now we definitely need a title for this 'chapter'. Adventurers Assemble... lol. I was thinking maybe something like or . Something ironically serious/intense.

Lol, it's fine. I should have the sheets finished up today, or at least the first one.

Everyone please note the time-warping additions to Lethe's list:

“A man of Noble heart and deed. He is a ranger, tall and with a green cloak.

A hylian woman, somehow related to Fish. A fisherwoman, perhaps? She has long red hair….

An Old man. Very short with fair skin, a cloak and long white beard.

A young child garbed in Green. Red hair tied with a green ribbon….

A Cursed man wearing a mask… he has a somewhat strange appearance.

A young man with sky blue hair... Reluctant all his life and reluctant now to serve his calling....

A small, lonely creature-- eternally Lost. Her appearance is that of a never ending autumn-- hiding behind a Keaton mask.

A young Deku girl... Timid and sweet-- a bud not yet bloomed.

A strong, sturdy man covered in soot with an enduring smile... A Kindly individual.

And lastly, a Foolish Shiekah warrior. He is an older man… with an injured arm. “

Incoming uberjerk!

Brace yourself, peasants of Hyrule.
Name: Maryev

Age: 68 (Out of a lifespan of at least a couple hundred years)

Race: Darknut

Gender: Male

Appearance: Commanding an erect, proud posture of a noble born son of a House that commanded and safeguarded an invaluable resource, Maryev is a towering figure standing at a full 7’02” with a warrior’s physique, toned from a lifetime of training and skirmishes. The stout canine-like features are more readily notable as he wields none of the equipment normally associated with the Darknut Legions, his dark grey-blue fur is lighter under the muzzle and his front and is naturally short, as befitting of a desert-adapted creature, and featureless red eyes sporting a demanding gaze under a stern and taciturn gaze.

Theme Song: Suidakra – March of Conquest

For respect is much harder to earn
Beyond the bond forged on the battlefield
Friendship makes one weak not strong
To do whatever has to be done
Side by side with banners high
To the last one they would fight
Relentless, fearless to the end
But none of them he called his friend

Personality:

Arrogant, Determined, Lordly, Racist, Brave, Condescending, Honest

Backstory:

Misfortune wasn’t always Maryev’s lot in life. He was a minor Noble in Unyus, the Southernmost city in the mountains of the Western Desert overlooking thegreat river that serves as the primary source of water to Lake Hylia commanding a hold that watched over the invaluable subterranean water spring that provided the majority of water in the arid desert city. A respected and proven lord and commander, Maryev had led skirmishing campaigns from the city against regional enemies on numerous occasions and had earned himself a reputation for both his skill in battle and commanding presence. However, his House was a small one and Maryev was ambitious, wishing to take more than his station allowed. His audacity, greed, and arrogance would eventually lead to his downfall.

In an attempt to wed the only daughter and heir of a rival lord, Lord Striatcus, Maryev was challenged to a duel of honour, which would take place in the districts Maryev commanded. The battle between the two bitter rivals lasted several minutes before an underhanded strike forced Maryev into the fast flowing stream and he was carried from his hold, and his people, cursing defiance as he was powerless against the current. Managing to remove the heavy armour he bore with great difficulty on whatever rocky outcropping’s he could grasp, Maryev managed to survive drowning when he was plunged into the heated river flowing from Gerudo Valley and his struggling and weakening body was eventually brought to Lake Hylia where chance would allow him to wash up on shore after he lost consciousness. Now trapped in a land belonging to a royal family he sees as Imperialistic warmongering occupiers and surrounded by lesser races of weak, disgusting people, Maryev is forced to take some truly desperate choices to find his way back home and reclaim his birth right, even if it means keeping his head down and cooperating with the filthy peasants of Hyrule.

Skills/Talents

Fighting skills:

Swordplay: A Darknut is raised from adolescence to wield his sword and become a warrior. I suppose you could never understand the strength and discipline required to do so, since you are here bagging my groceries like a servant. Maryev was introduced to the fundamentals of battle the same age many of other races were being introduced to basic education. A lifetime of experience and training has made him extremely formidable with a two-handed sword.

Immense Strength: This is a two-handed sword? I’ve used toothpicks that were more substantial! Perhaps if you spent less time counting rupees and bending steel, you’d find it in yourself to forge something larger… very well, it will do. For now. It is no surprise that the massive Darknuts, always feared amongst Ganon’s forces as powerful, unstoppable forces of nature amongst the ignorant, are among the most physically robust and powerful creatures that exist in the land. Capable of wielding two-handed weapons with one hand and lifting weights others may consider impossible, Maryev’s strength is something that should never be underestimated. Along with his sword, Maryev was increasingly burdened from a young age with the heaviest and strongest armours his frame could carry until the point the crushing weight became something of a second skin. He is comfortable moving in heavy armour, keeping surprisingly agile and unfatigued during heavy fighting.

Constitution: I survived being thrown down a rocky chasm and nearly drowned for the better part of two days and I turned out fine, and you’re complaining about a sunburn? Along with the massive, hardy frame and physical conditioning from a lifetime of training as the perfect warrior, Maryev is incredibly pain tolerant and has been able to shrug off wounds that would cripple a lesser man. It is very uncommon for an opponent to be able to endure more punishment than a Darknut.
Survival:

Cooking: Why does it come as a shock to your feeble mind that I am capable of turning the gruel you called food into something edible? I have standards. Both as a man with an independent personality back in Unyus and as a desperate survivor trying to survive off the lands, Maryev has a knack for cooking and preparing food from even the most basic of supplies. You won’t believe its rat!

Shelter construction: I had swiftly decided I severely dislike this rain phenomenon your kind endure nearly daily. I have endeavored to keep it at bay as much as I can. Owing to his physical strength and time overseeing military fortifications, Maryev is more than capable of making the most of the terrain around him and making a suitable shelter for a relatively comfortable time out of doors, provided he has the materials to work with.

Practical skills:

Armour mending: You claim this is the finest steel in the lands, yet I have had food packaged in more robust containment. If I am to fight in this refuse, I need to make sure it is functional. Not trusting the armour he’s scraped together and his ability to hammer out dents, abrasions, and other signs of damage and wear, Maryev’s dogged pursuit of perfection and quality has given him ample experience in keeping his equipment in the best condition he can.

Map reading: What do you think I am, a Forest Child? I know my way around this cursed slag of a shanty you call home. Thanks to a Noble Upbringing and military experience as a field commander, Maryev is well familiar with geography and how to navigate using just about every kind of common map type.

Literacy: Why does it always come as a surprise to those with such puny forms that a Darknut is well-read? You seem to think the larger they are the more decrepitly idiotic they come. In my experience, the inverse is true, you sniveling insect. Well educated since his youth with the best tutors rupees could afford, Maryev is a knowledgeable and intelligent man with a love for reading.

Goals: To reclaim his family honour and status; raise banner men to reclaim his hold; to escape the wretched existence of lesser races.

Also, to discover who crafts Lon Lon milk to profess my admiration of being the only thing that is done right in this horrible land.

Inventory:
-Steel greatsword
-Cheaply re-forged plate armour
-Round shield
-Tinderbox
-Travel sack
-A battered set of noble clothing
-Scant rations
-A map of the kingdom
-A bedroll
-A wood axe

So, I'm one of Baklava's BFFs for all eternity and using the power of her hypnotism has caused me to apply. Also because Corporal Lance and I are also good buddies, and Mila and Maryev needed to go on more love-hate adventures. Nice to meet you all!

Haha, as I said, I've known her for a longass time and I'm a mainstay in her other Zelda RP, and she was in one of my Elder Scrolls games on the Oldguild. I'm pretty much as reliable as they come. ;D And many thanks for the welcome.

Actually no. She's anything but. If Izzaz were to know of her, he would know her as a thieving fortune teller/palm reader/enchanter/otherwise mysteriously eccentric woman that seems mostly to thrive off of the gullibility of others. Her reputation as a legitimate source of information or proper enchantments is pretty bad-- not that she has much of a reputation though. Only long-time Kakariko Villagers would have much of any knowledge of her and her schemes. She tends to prey on tourists/visitors. Thus her flow of business tends to only gain momentum during events like the HOT Festival.

Izzaz might remember her name, but it might be lost on him at first. Regarding what Asrid does, Izzaz might have a awkward and crooked sense of morality, but he considers Gerudo sneak-thievery and banditry more honest professions than superstitious notions of crystal scrying and tarot card reading.
