In theory, yes, seeing as it is the program itself. The reason it's able to control pain receptor is because all chips are connected to their user's brain (temporal, frontal, etc.) If it wanted to, it could potentially control weak-willed people fully, though that might be a last resort for its "research".

I would have guessed Lucy was a Bishop. With all the talk of healing and all that jazz. Oh and yeah, wouldn't anyone touching another person's chip be considered taboo or something?

For anyone curious, I'm asking about chess pieces because I'm pretty sure we have enough PCs to make a full chess squad

Assuming that all the kings are special pieces + Retsu as a special piece and the rest of the players are pawns

Sam would probably be a knight. Moves easily across the board and whatnot.

I thought about saying Bishop but I always think of them as very faith driven, not necessarily religious, for obvious reasons. Though I guess maybe she is? She does have extreme faith in people as a whole. Hmmmmmm

The faith and the fact that I personally associate a Bishop with healing :P

Rooks are more charging bulls imo

I don't think so... but that's something to be decided via RP.

Either way I want in on this collab since Sten is right there after all!

I won't be working on it tonight, but I'll definitely be up for it after I get some sleep in.

I just said bishop because bishops because of that, +bishops are misc as heck +Lucy doesn't fit with anything else

Also rooks are supposed to be more defence, because standing in front of one is not a good idea and you can swap places with the king to protect the king under certain circumstances

That's how I always though of rooks too. I figured her healing fit with defense and her personality.she just isn't all tank like.
