"Agent Wagner, report."

Blue fingers touched his ear-bud as he walked along the aisles and rows of books of the Bookshop. At the moment he was wearing his plainclothes while investigating the possibility of a page of merlin in the location. As it was he could feel he was already in an extra-dimensional space, like his skin was stretched just a little as the magic tried to make more of him than there already was. Borrowing from the outer limits, 'someone controlling your horizontal and vertical' was a way he described the sensation to others.
"This is Magnus, permission to-"
"Denied, no gimmicks, we don't know what will happen in the presence of a page."
He turned left and knew he was in the right place as this little bookstore was suddenly quite the massive library. Now he had a new problem as it was now looking for a needle in a stack of needles, blindfolded, while wearing work gloves. Time to take the gloves off.

He took a random book from he shelf to test a theory and held it over a candle's flame, nothing happened, Next he put his hand to the flickering flame... no heat. Perhaps an illusion or a ward. Lastly he took out a book of matches from his pocket and lit the whole set of redheads with a slips of flashpaper before holding it under the pages.

"STOP!"

Just as he hoped, a bookimp familiar, about three feet tall with skin of tough leather hide and a tome fused to its spine for wings. This thing, as a wizards familiar, would be a living encyclopedia to the library he was in. He just hoped the damn thing didn't speak only in quotes of the books it had read like most do.

"I'm here for a page of Merlin."

It looked at him close, craning head from side to side and sniffing about. Magnus had no ability to teleport unless he was ha horseman of war, a thing he hoped to never be again, so he didn't stink of brimstone like his father or hellfire father before him. He put the book away and blew out the matches to show he meant no harm to the bibliophile's bitches.

"Yu t'ink we wuld 'wn a dinky sh'p like t'is used b'k st're if we 'ad a page of Merlin?"

Magnus frowned while he squatted down to its level as his spaded tail swung behind him like a metronome, something the imp seemed to lack and perhaps that is how the wizard procured its services. He shielded his thought with the mental image of a dojo, the one from the matrix does fine, he superimposed the dojo over him and it while closing off the rest of the doors in magnus' mind to keep out the lightest of probes. Back and forth the mutant slid his blue palms over fingerless gloves in time with his tail as he tried to decide just how much to tell this creature.

"This 'dinky place' is hundreds of feet long, I can tell. So let's talk plain, I want to see your boss. Take me to him now and I'll see about getting your tail back."

It blinked in startle before looking at him more intently, then looking behind it and back to him again with only one eye. The other eye was sweeping the library for other guests as it put a hand on the bookshelf to steady its weight. More incredulous than ever that he should know such things, it leaned close and spoke in low tones.

"Uw d' yu kn'w ab'ut imps tails?"

Magnus reached out with a hand suddenly holding a palmed silver coin, rolling it back and forth over knuckles to try and keep his attention on the coin and not the tail moving in the shadow of his arm to loop around its ankle as he says a single word. "Neyaphem."

*FLUTTER*

The imp tried to escape using its power to travel between the pages of books, even cover to cover. In a less organized place, as long as two pages touched it could be anywhere like a current of lightning. In here it was limited to one end of a bookshelf to the other unless the books on one shelf touched the next shelf on the other side, in a library like this it could all but run through the walls at an alarming pace and Magnus was along for the ride.

He used his agility along with spatial relations to keep from getting fatigued like his father would do to other foes so often to weaken them. Up and down then through and through the three foot imp took the demon child for a rampant ride until he managed to grab the imp in a scissor-hold with his legs and the banister of the second floor with his tail to heave them both out into the open air. The two twisted and tumbled with wings beating furiously to dislodge him before-

*WHAM*

The sound of a book being dropped two stories to slap closed on cold marble floor echoed through the great halls. The imp had retreated into himself as a great book two feet on a side by half a foot thick with the demon-spawn squatted atop, even with superhuman agility his legs still trembled from the impact. It was like a turtle in its shell now, so Magnus took this chance to slip off his sling thong from his thigh holster and tied up the little bastard with great care and took a seat at a table to ponder what to do next. Perhaps a familiar in trouble might have the true librarian emerge, for now he was going to do card tricks while he waited.

"This is Magnus, asset acquired, target not, standing by to stand by."

Prolouge - A normal day for Deathlok
[New Metropolis, August 17, 11:35 AM, 2058]

"C'mon. C'mon!" Matt whispered. He had been waiting on this rooftop for 20 minutes now, and finally someone criminal looking had sprung up. Some scruffy white dude with his hands in his sweatpants pockets. That was super shady, but he hadn't pulled a weapon on anyone yet. It was so frustrating being a hero sometimes. Finally, he spotted some other dude, and there was that criminal glint in his eyes. Matt tuned in, and just as he expected, a "Gimme your money!" was half-yelled, and a knife was drawn.

"Showtime." Matt said to himself, grinning. He hopped off of the building, using his foot boosters to slow his fall enough not to make an indent on the pavement. "Hey, douchebag!" Matt shouted to the criminal, hands cupped around his mouth/speaker to amplify the sound. A pissed off and surprised mugger took a look back to see a robot teenager taunting him. "Who the hell 'er you?" He asked, shifting his focus to the metal boy. "I'm Iron Heir." Matt said as he drew his blade. "Wanna knife fight?"

Knife-guy dashed ahead and made an attempt to stab Matt in the side. Matt dodged swiftly, and threw a punch at his face. The criminal crumpled beneath Matt's metallic fist and groaned in pain. Matt put his foot on the criminal's chest and aimed the katana at his face. "Dude, I know you're probably strapped for cash, but robbing people isn't the answer. Now get out of here, before I call the cops." Matt placed his foot on the ground, and watched the criminal run off, rubbing his face.

"So, hi." Matt said, now directing his attention to the businessman trembling in fear. "It's cool dude, I'm not gonna hurt you. I'm a hero, saving people is what I do."

Tesla felt the shifts of digital information. New things were suddenly everywhere. Bios on new heroes and info he had never seen before cropped up all over the place. He had seen the stuff about portals before and research on them. But this was different. New code was being written in and things were changing rapidly. This was his cue to end his world wide Web journey. After the longest time he would be going back to earth...or whatever earth was now.

Finding the right exit wasn't hard. After all Tony Stark kept his online security high and was about the only one who had this certain type of encryption. It wasn't hard to bypass for Tesla though. He slipped through the front door and into the system. Now for the hard part of getting himself out. He would need to find a unit equipped with a laser. Luckily it seemed to be near by. Locating it in the system was easy and making the right adjustments so that he could bring himself into the world. Machines kicked on and the laser whirled to life. Instantaneously Tesla was in the middle of Starks work area in his house. Everything was dark and only the lights from the laser was turned on. "Odd Tony usually has this place lit up like Christmas." He then went over to the monitor and zapped it on. The A.I. Jarvis kicked on and asked what he need. "Well I would love to know where Tony Stark is?" Jarvis brought up a recording. Tesla listened to it all the way through. "So this is why everything is a mess. Tony...I could have helped. If I hadn't been so self absorbed in my work...I made a promise to your father and I intend to keep. Don't worry Tony I am going to find a way to help you. I know you are still out there somewhere." He said as he stood up.

A few more hours had gone by and Tesla had the place up and running again. He had began acquainting himself with Tony's projects and put a few into motion. Sitting down finally he looked around and admired what he had done. Suddenly Tesla felt sharp pains in his sides and his brain began to feel hot. Why in the he'll did he feel like an over charged battery? He requested Jarvis to run a scan. Jarvis found that Tesla's energy was building up. It seemed that the two world's merging doubled his energy output. Jarvis suggested that he off load some of it. Tesla then had a bright idea. "Jarvis open the armory." Complying reluctantly it seemed he did. Inside Tesla jumped into one of them and poured energy into it. "This will do for now but let's make my own shall we?" A rhetorical question but none the less Jarvis went to work on the outer skeleton of the suit.

When it was done Tesla went in and configured the rest of the parts. The suit itself was a deep black with bulbs on it. When it was all finished a day later Tesla put on his suit and was ready for about anything. Next step was to take over stark-wayne enterprise.

I'm bored part of the creature whined within Liz's head as she watched the city from a vantage point. She had grown accustomed to the many voices in her head by now from the creature who seemed to be many beings then merely one. Of course she had always been different to her peers so it was easier for her to grow accustom to the voices, at least now she had company though it made her look insane to any normal person.

[We want to tear something limb from limb another voice chimed in making Liz have a smirk on her face underneath the mask. Legion was one being yet multiple at the same time, an experiment that hadn't gone entirely planned as expected and now could hardly make a decision without an argument erupting from the many persona's. Of course this is where Liz came into play, a person who could at least reason with all the voices to some extent and keep them in line from doing something regrettable. Of course it meant compromises along the way. She had wanted to be a hero but anymore she didn't view herself as one, she was more of an antihero. To sedate the lust of violence that part of Legion had it meant giving out her own form of justice which mostly made the baddies end up in the hospital. It killed two birds with one stone. Sedate the violence and give justice to another persona. Of course these were merely two sides of the many face dice that was Legion and she had to keep everything balanced to keep them happy which she did a good job at doing which was probably why the creature chose her as it's host. Perhaps anyone else would be unable to control it's desires or hunger, perhaps another would ultimately be driven to insanity.

"Patience is key my friends," Liz replied to the voices ",The day is young and we shall all be pleased in the end with the outcomes that come from this day I promise."

Grim was on the rooftop of a building overlooking Gotham City and his steely eyes gazed down over the city. The city had changed greatly over the last two hundred years as well as the rest of the world and Mortimer had seen it all. His existence as a wanderer through the shadows of time and almost unknown guardian to the balance of the world was a lonely one. Ghosts looked upon with wariness because of his ties to Death himself, and demons while bolder were also in some way afraid of his potential as a servant of death. Death was on a whole another than demons and so Grim was quite possibly more powerful than them.

Being immortal had made it seem like time had gone by at such a quick pace that it didn't feel like a couple of centuries had passed since he had been murdered, but here he was in the mid twenty first century trying to keep the balance of the cosmos in the right place. His sight soon caught a glimpse of a crime happening, and even though he was not instructed to interfere in the crimes of mortals, Grim decided that these people needed help in keeping them safe.

He death walked from the rooftop to the area near the where the crime was happening and he lifted himself into the air with his flight ability. He summoned his scythe into his hands and he flew above crowds of people looking for the crime. To those that saw him, his face was completely covered in shadows and only his steely eyes were visible when he had the hood of his robe on. This was why so many who saw him were so afraid of him, his eyes were creepy and unsettling to those that looked at them. He soon spotted the crime and saw that some criminal had a hostage and was threatening to blow her and anyone he could shoot's brains out

Mortimer knew he had to move quickly and he decided to death walk towards the criminal and his victim.

Keep running, keep running.

Prologue to Sakura Allen
August 17, 2099, The future
Stark-Wayne Expo, Battlefield causes the expo to break down....

People live their lives blindly in this world of corruption, everyday time passes by a huge milestone, most of us are chained to this obedience that the so called moniker, Lord Dark Thanos; all lives are nothing but lifeless puppets bind to their master to do their bidding but for me it isn't the case. I am the last legacy of my family and it is my job to stop the inevitable, if anyone sees this video, I am well aware that everyone would hate me but what has been done has failed, the lives lost were all for nothing. To my family, if you see this, one day you will understand.

The military police came in with their Stark-Wayne soldierized Iron Bat drones, just like the sentinels they are able to subdue metahumans and mutants alike, at this rate I won't be able to hold them off. This will probably the last video I made, to everyone I'm sorry for everyone's sacrifices... Sakura Allen out.

I run as fast as I can, all the way down to the basement, SW Mark 17 is ready. A suit that was given to me as a birthday present only to end up as a suit of rebellion, my Uncle had it modified with better features. I have a collection of arc reactors for this leotard flash suit, this should be enough for me to sustain the suit at its full power, I guess maybe I'll see Tony Stark in the past. OUCH!

"Freeze! You are completely surrounded, all rebels are to be executed in the name of our Lord Dark Thanos!" The cold gun these drones are using are 10x stronger than Captain Cold's, this cold gun had been legally authorized by the government since the late 2060's. The cold gun is designed to subdue speedsters like me.

I quickly run again and simultaneously throw grenades at the drones and exploit their weakspots but for sure more will come. Vibrating the machine would mean its destruction just like how a flash vibrates molecules but I can't do it alone. SHIT! Cold chains! how?

The Iron Bat drones got me huh? Is this the end? "Sakura Tanaka Allen. In the name of our Lord. you are hereby sentenced to execution for your heinous schemes, crimes, rebellion, and treason to our Lord. There is no point of struggling further, the harder you struggle, these cold chains would be colder until there's nothing left to freeze." Even my friend betrayed me, what a sad fate is this huh?

Suddenly a loud electric sound of lightning from the sky hit the ground, it was my friends, "Sakura! We'll hold them off, go with Drake to the time machine now! Live and change the time stream and do not slip into different streams! My mutant friend who can control electricity sure knows how to come in late. "Slip? Stream? Oh yes, that gave me an idea. "Danielle, you are so good at coming up with awesome names! Slipstream! I like the sound of that and I am pretty sure I am already slipping into many things, we can slip to this trouble and-- OWWW! THAT HURTS And here is my friend Spiderman of this timeline, "You really need to crack jokes right now do you, Sakura?

"OH COME ON! YOU DIDN'T HAVE TO ELECTRO WEB MY ASS!! I'm going, I'm going! Oh shit, Spidey watch out! I'm not fast enough due these cold chains, damn it. I'm restrained and he's dead........ "Sakura, we got this.....stop talking and go, Spidey's death won't be for nothing as long as you do what you must. My teleporter mutant friend teleported me in the ship, I can't bear to watch my friends die any longer...and turn against each other.

Now I'm in the ship powered by a huge arc reactor, this should help us time travel. "Sakura, the time travelling device is a 2 way trip...... We better get this done until----- Our ship is being attacked and drones are on the wings, from what I can see its happening faster than I can imagine, why can't I move? Why can't I do something? Drake please stand, I don't how to drive this plane, you're the only one who can!

"Shut up already, Sakura... I'm gonna die anyway..... use the cosmic treadmill and don't worry about me.... once you fix the past, everything will be.... No, Drake don't die, I can't accept this. I jump at the cosmic treadmill to run back to the past, ouch! One of the soldiers shot me with a cold bullet. "OAAHHHHH!! Drake unleashed his supercharging powers and overcharged the drones and the soldiers, temporarily. "Sakura, go now... there's not much time.. He said to me in a sad and painful voice.

"Oh come on man, don't say that. We're going to the past together and we're gonna fix everything, so take my hand!." I said while running nonstop in the cosmic treadmill, the ship is falling down anyway and my best hope is to have a good landing in the past for the ship but then Drake..... "Yeah... only a Flash can travel back in time to fix this mayhem... Promise me one thing..... As we were falling, Drake's words were the only thing I can capture, right before his death, he zapped me without even getting to touch him, his super charging powers along with the cosmic treadmill allowed me to travel into the past.

As I go back, the speed force unleashed by my side, helped me do what I must. Running through time, my suit is something cool that I can ever imagine unlike the other flashes, my suit is a neon blur compare to the red blur of my ancestors. WOOAAAAHHHH!!!!

2058
I look at the calendar and it was such a disappointment, "FUCK! FUCK! FUCK! FUCK! FUCK! FUCK! FUCK! 2058? WHY ONLY 2058 DAMNIT! I could at least have gone back to 2051! JUST NO! NO! NO! NO! I try to run in circles or forward just to time travel, I mean Professor Zoom can do that so can I! OUCH! WHY CAN'T I! AHHHHH!!!!!!! I screamed in anger of my failure.

Killing Joker, New Metropolis
Intro to Battle

So far the day was going as any other day had. Luckily for the Harrison he didn't have much of anything to really do. In fact, he'd only just now awoken and rolled out of bed. His hair was a mess and there was a bit of drool still fresh on the edge of his mouth. "Geez... I could have sworn I was supposed to do something today..." He said calmly. No school... So that wasn't it. And he didn't have a job so... Oh wait... He had been wired money to retrieve some... "That's right!" He gleefully threw his fists in the air and without any further delay he was in the bathroom. He began to clean his mouth and face and after that he was showering. "I should hurry. The whole deal thing will happen soon." He said to himself as he bathed. Still, it was a good thing that the young man had woken up. If not he might have missed his chance altogether and would have had to go through an entirely different ordeal.

As Harrison finished his bath he made his way back to his room. He started suiting up, checking all his gear, and applied his white make-up and then spray dyed his hair. "Perfect." His said just as he placed his domino mask on his face. "Now. I'm out." He said as he hopped out of his window and began heading up to the roof. It'd take him roughly 30 minutes to get to his destination. The meeting would take place in 45. That left him 15 minutes to pick up a bagel and scope out the place. Well... At the very least he'd pick up a bagel. "Oh yeah. This is gonna be fun. And as long as the merch doesn't get messed up I can do whatever I want." He laughed as he travelled across the rooftops in a rather giddy mood.

Things could have been going a lot worse. Of course, even if they had been going worse, Harrison could always think of something. As he chomped down on the bagel he’d “acquired” a grin began to form on his face. He wasn’t about to let this thing drag out and lose a client. There wasn’t a doubt in his mind that if after getting paid in advance he didn’t deliver he’d end up being attacked. Then he’d probably kill his current employer and he’d be down a customer who was dumb enough to pay in advance.

“Welp…” He finally arrived. He was currently sneaking into a warehouse. There was a group already present. There was also a small box sitting on a table. He let out a small whistle. “Lotta security.” He whispered as other’s began to enter, one man in particular carrying a case which would like have whatever was being traded. “Now if only I could see the merchandise.” Harrison had a bad habit of talking to himself.

“Lemme see the merch.” The man with the case spoke calmly. He’d done this before. He wasn’t a big boss or anything like that though. None of these guys really were. Harrison had seen and met a few big bosses. So he could pretty much tell now. Still, this was a pretty lucky break. The box was opened and he could see what he was after. “Oh yeah. There it is.” His grin grew wider as he stood up in the rafter he was hiding on and pulled his twin hammers from his back. He slammed each into the rails of the rafters and began to run around laughing cheerfully. Of course, the men were beginning to look around and search for whoever was there. Things were just getting started.
Nicolas Constantine, New Metropolis

Nicolas hadn’t been to New Metropolis in some time. Furthermore, he hadn’t even expected that the destination of the problem he’d discovered using his divination abilities to lead him to the Stark household. “This is quite a problem.” He said as he approached the gate. It was closed. The place had been abandoned, for a while so he wasn’t sure anyone would be around to answer for him now. “Right…” He sighed as he took a few steps back. There weren’t many around this place. That much was very good for him since he could act much more freely.

With one small leap he was able to seamlessly float over the rather large gate and glide quite a ways over the long walk way before landing. “The rich sure seem to have it made.” He let out a small whistle impressed by the land around him. However, he continued on his way to the door. He was here on business after all. Once at the door and began to look around for a way in. He didn’t think answering the door would work and he wasn’t really one to rely completely on his magic. “Bullocks. The rich never make it easy do they.” He sighed as his current task continued.

The silent alarms went off in the lab that Tesla was working in. "What in the!?" He said as he jumped to his feet, bumping his head on the lamp as he did. Bringing a screen in the lab over to him he looked at what the camera displayed, well at least half of it. The house and grounds were in a bit of disrepair and he was meaning to get to it but he was working on several projects to put the Stark part of Stark-Wayne enterprise back on the future track. Don't get it wrong, he had thought when he hacked the system mainframe, they were working on some pretty advanced stuff but the key word was WORKING. Nothing every got finished it seemed in the past little while. Stocks were slumping and the company wasn't doing great so he need to do something while Tony and....Bruce were away. His thoughts back to the screen and the image of a half a man at the door. Who was he and what was going on that brought him to Tony's door. Well he had better go great him or kill him one way or another he pump some extra juice into the suit he was wearing and activated two others. The stealth suit and the Bones suit, both agile enough to help him out and the only two that he had repaired thus far mainly to add upgrades to his own suit and to figure out some tech for the projects. He went upstairs and activated the hologram to project his image behind the man at the door. "Sir might I ask your name and why it is that you have found yourself here?" He asked. Nothing more.

Liz was broken out of her state of observation of the city and controlling the voices in her head by an outburst that came from some near by rooftop. All she saw was a flash of red, unable to really tell who they were.
"Well perhaps he knows where we could find some fun and quench that chaos we desire," she said to herself, deciding to follow behind the man clad in red. Where ever he was going he seemed particularly pleased about it and enjoyed talking to himself quite a bit. She could hardly judge him on talking to himself due to how she herself did the same but she had a reason at least so far the person she followed talked to himself for the sake of talking to himself. She stuck to the shadows as she followed from a distance. Eventually the person in red seemed to find his destination for he stopped, eyes gazing at some warehouse.

"Why is it always warehouses or abandoned buildings, do villains even try to be original this day and age?" She muttered to herself in silence deciding for the time she would watch and observe and unless the person in red needed help she would stay where she was and only watch.

As Matt basked in the glory of heroism, that is to say daydreamed about being adored because of his daring rescues. "Oh Deathlok, your so cool, swoon" everyone would say, and he'd be like "I totally am, wanna go to my golden space mansion?" And-
Matt was suddenly interrupted from his thoughts of adoration by a flash of red darting across one of the roofs he was sitting near. Why did everyone use these as transportation? More importantly, why were people never really complaining about the noise?
"Whatever." Matt said as he shook himself from his thoughts and got up to follow the darting figure. They could be throwing themselves at danger, and that was his job! Matt dashed after the mysterious figure, far enough behind that if they were a villain they wouldn't hear him. He didn't suspect the figure as being as such, especially when they stopped pursuing the person in red. "Uh, hey." Matt said to the person. Judging by the figure they were a twenty-thirty something female, but that was about all the information he could get without her turning around. He really wished his father had built some sort of scanner thing in his eyes...
"So, hi, that guy you were chasin' look evil? He an evil dude that needs apprehending? Because I'm totally the guy for that." He asked her, trying to get her to reveal more information about the situation before leaping into what could potentially be a good guy hideout, and then he'd look like an idiot.

Killing Joke, New Metropolis
The Battle Begins!

There were about 50 men in all flooding into the warehouse. Always a warehouse. Probably because they were cheaper to acquire and own. Not to mention, the abandoned ones were a lot more neutral and hidden from the public eye. Of course, that made Harrison's job that much easier. But honestly, Harrison believed it was because bad guys and fools like this liked to think they were the protagonists, or antagonists, wierdos, in low budget mobster movies. Still as he continued to slam his hammers into the railing he soon let out a loud cackle. "Oh boys boys boys boys boys!" He called out just before leaped over down into the center of the crowd where the bosses were. "Don't all of you just wish you'd called in sick today?" He asked looking around through his domino mask.

"Who the hell is this nut?" One of the leaders asked the other. Now obviously neither were the top of the mafioso food chain. That was probably the reason he received a hammer to the face almost exactly as he finished asking the question. Harrison who had done a complete 360 degree spin in swinging the hammer came to a stop with a small laugh. "I'm glad somebody asked!" He obviously didn't like being ignored by a dumbass who wasn't even cream of the crop member of the mob or whoever any of these guys were. "I'm the Killing Joke. Here to deliver the last punch line you'll ever here." That part was a lie. He usually didn't kill. The more he left alive the more his name spread and the easier some jobs became later on. Plus, more fun for him and less time wasted explaining.

After a brief silence a burst of laughter came from the men in the warehouse. "Oh get outta here twerp." One brave soul said as he stepped up. "The hell's a runt like you gonna..." The man instantly stopped as he flinched the second Harrison swung. However, he and many others were surprised when the hammer didn't hit. "Oh yeah... That's what I..." The next words out of the man's mouth were quickly replaced by a dreadful scream of pain as Harrison's hammers slammed directly into his crotch in an upwards motion. First, the left and then the right to add to the excruciating pain, and just for good measure.

"Welp. Time for the resta ya to go down!" Harrison laughed as he kicked the man down and immediately charged into the crowd. Not many of the men had guns. Probably part of the meeting agreement. Those that did began to shoot, but the shots that weren't dodged didn't stop him. Low calibur rounds. It'd take more than that to bring him down. Still this only managed to increase the fear many began to feel. They yelled. Soon 5! No 10! No 15! Yeah! 15 were already down as a man with about half a gallon of blood and and torn messy suit that he'd likely replace continued to come at them swinging hammers and dropping left and right. Yells and cries for help could be heard. Maybe it was Harrison or maybe some idiots wanting to avoid unwanted attention, but they were locked in here with him and he was sparing no expense in this beat down.
Nicolas Constantine, New Metropolis
First Encounter

Nicolas had honestly, all but given up on finding a way in without magic, until he heard a voice behind him. Now one might expect someone like him to be used to people popping up around him, but he'd been so involved in his thoughts as he tried to think of a quick AND discreet spell that the voice made him jump. "Bullocks! Ya tryin to scare me to death mate?" He asked quickly in a hurried voice as he turned to face the mystery man with whom the voice belonged. He looked him up and down for a moment before sighing. He was Stark, and he didn't seem like a demonic spirit or something of that sort. Although they rarely did give off the impression of being what they actually were, if that made sense.

"Right then..." Nicolas took a moment to gather his thought. What he was about to do could turn out really good or really bad. "My name's Nicolas Constantine. A supernatural detective and self proclaimed, master of the arts, both dark and light." He said in a somewhat hurried manor. "I was doing a little dabbling in the art of divination when I picked up something weird. Really threw a wrench in my original plans, but I had to come and take a little peak." He as he glanced around. "Notice anything strange around here mate? Or could you perhaps be what I picked up?" He asked being a bit forward. The reason of course was that he didn't really think there was anyone else around here. He honestly didn't even think he was wrong in the slightest.

From where he stood he activated the door to open will held up an arm which produced rings around his fist and half way up his forearm. Electrical energy charged through them and Tesla was ready to fire if needed. The hologram gestured for him to go inside before flickering away. "Do come in sir and let us talk about the mystical arts that brought you here to my friends door." Tesla wasn't taking any chances. He let his eyes glass over and began to read the mans electrical impulses that ran through his body. Brain activity was normal and his aura was reading ok but it was really strong. His eyes returned to normal and lowered his weapon and instead stood there waiting for the man to enter.

Liz had been so focused on keeping track of her red prey that she had not noticed she herself had been being watched until the one watching her appeared. It caught her off guard and she cursed herself internally for not being more cautious all the while the many voices in her head squabbled on who's fault it was. Liz tooned the voices out, letting them squabble while she looked over at her new company briefly. Right off the bat she saw he wasn't an enemy, at least judging by his attitude and enthusiasm of wanting to stop the unknown prey she had been following.

"We know not if the one we followed is friend or foe," she finally answered looking back at the warehouse ",When the sounds of battle of come then we will have an answer."

It didn't take long though for what sounded to be a struggle to begin, first it was gunshots then it was screams and she had doubts it was the screams of the prey she had pursued. Now the symbiote was indeed intrigued on the prey, hearing the sounds of combat made it want to join in.

"Now we have an answer lets see if the prey we followed needs assistance, we hunger for a good fight to bring order to the chaos inside us," she replied before jumping from her hiding place and swinging down to the warehouse below not waiting for the other before she found a means of entering the place unseen herself and landing to the floor below.

"Now let us found Mr. Red Guy and have fun with whatever toys he found to play with," she spoke to herself, a mouth forming on the symbiote suite, a smile that would give anyone nightmares with how it went ear to ear and the mouth was full of teeth that could rival a shark's own jaws.

"Ready or not here we come," she whispered before darting around the warehouse looking for the fight that was happening within. It hardly took long finding the chaos in the building but the site she was greeted with was a peculiar one. The way the men screamed from outside she thought the guy in red was using some form of gun or even blade but what she found was him wielding a hammer, a weapon that seem odd but still got the job done. HOw many men were left was hard to say but big and red seemed to of taken a good chunk of them out.

"Oh Red," she called to the hammer wielding maniac who she still did not know if he was friend or foe "Do you share your play things or do we need to find a new warehouse to find entertainment in?"

The woman responded to him, and after a few moments he heard screams. He was tempted to leap into action immediately, but as soon as the girl spoke of "chaos inside us" he froze up for a second. She sounded very... unstable, dangerous, and liable to freak out an become a villain. So, in short, he needed to follow this chick. To do this, he rocketed up to the warehouse's roof and broke through the skylight, striking a heroic pose as he hit the ground... And immediately got shot.
"Ow!" Matt yelled as his metal dented under the force of a bullet colliding with his robotic torso. He loved this plating, it was top of the line highly experimental stuff, and was, up to this point, impenetrable by a lot of stuff. Only the best for daddy's little boy. Matt drew his rifle and toned down it's electrical voltage to levels where it would knock the baddy out, but not kill him. Who's gonna tell other baddys about his exploits otherwise?
"Red Guy me and possibly psycho lady are gonna bum off your supply of mafia goons." Matt said as he electrocuted some suited fools. "Is that cool? An up and coming hero needs to get his name out there, you know? And I think the other person here has some kind of lust for violence too, so... yeah."

Ryan's spaceship flew through the darkness of space at a fast speed, trying to get to earth as soon as possible so that he could begin his investigation of the tyrant Dark-Thanos. He couldn't deny that he was both a little nervous and curious to be heading back to earth after so many years. The last time he was on earth, he had been picked up by the Galactic Warden's scoutship as a very young child and was taken off into space to be trained as one of them. Even though life had been extremely hard and he had been under constant threat of death in the line duty, he would have never wanted to go back to his life at the orphanage, that part of his life was dead to him. But the sight oft he planet brought back the painful memories of his parents and their death.

The possibilities of returning to his old home and seeing what had become of the place went though his mind and considered doing it. But he didn’t expect another family to own the house since normally a home where the residents had been brutally murdered never really recovered from such a tragedy. On his way to earth he had noticed several changes in the structure of the galaxy especially with the new planets he had never really seen before until recently. No doubt that this had to be the work of Dark-Thanos, but he wondered how much the entire universe had from such an event and if it meant something sinister would happen in the coming future.

Earth was soon very close and the ship began to shake a bit as he entered the planet’s atmosphere and descended down towards earth. He was making sure not to do any crazy moves with his ship otherwise it could fall out of the sky and possibly crash. The ship came out of the upper atmosphere and flew down through the clouds towards the world below.

His ship’s computer told him that he was heading towards New Metropolis and Ryan knew that this was city where Superman lived. He decided that this would be a good place to start his investigation of the tyrant Dark-Thanos and he wondered how much the city had changed from when he had visited there as a very kid before his parents had died.

He pulled his ship out of its downward dive and flew above the city and was looking for a more obscure place to land his ship and keep it hidden from the population since earth was still classified as a primitive world and thus would try and use his ship’s technology for their own personal gain.

The city looked really beautiful from where he could see up in the air and he felt happy to see human structures after so many years. He spotted the outskirts of New Metropolis and he flew his ship in that direction. He soon found a place to land the ship and slowly had it land in a clearing.

After he landed the ship Ryan put it in cloaking mode to hide it from any of the people that might come by the place. Once he had all of the things he would need to begin his mission, he took off into the air and started his investigation of Dark-Thanos.
Grim Shadow had finished up his dealing with a criminal and left him cowering in fear and calling for his mother. He wondered what might be another good deed that he may have to do. He then got a message from his master and received instructions from his master to go to New Matropolis and meet with the other heroes. Death told him where he would find them and Mortimer Death Walked to the city and place where Nicholas and Tesla were.

He stood before them dressed in very dark robes and his face covered in shadows, but his eyes which were a cold steely gray looked at the other heroes, curious to know if any of these heroes would good enough for what might come.

"Greetings, I am Grim Shadow, servant of Death" he spoke in a dark voice.

Suddenly there was a shadowy figure close to Tesla and his "guest" and Tesla was about tired of the unexpected today. "Well presuming you can be killed as you are a servant of death and presumably dead does that mean you can be resurrected to be vanquished?" Tesla armed himself once again. As the Coil built itself on his arm and charged for a blast he called out to Constantine. "Is this your doing oh master of the arts!?" Tesla was no stranger to the arts as he had learned alot on the net. He stood in the spot waiting for the creature to make a move or to find out if Constantine was aligned with it.

----Paradox Zone----

Sara hadn't know what was going on and was in distress as her body felt like it was being torn apart for a couple of seconds. Which usually meant that there was a class Z event happening. Time was all the same to her and space as well but she retained a sense of both. "Really? Right now? I just... I just... I just got back he sword glowed for a second and splayed into its three parts. She knew what this meant. She was about to travel again. Holding tightly to the liquid crystal handle the rest of the sword broke apart and flew in front of her spinning as it did to the appropriate time and year that she was to being her mission. Once the clock hand pieces finished spinning rapidly they turned to pure energy. The liquid crystal handle glowed and she lifted it to her face. On top where the blade connected to the guard was a small cap. She pulled it off and drank the liquid inside or at least it looked like she did. Liquid came out but it was like nothing left the container. Her eyes glowed for a second and suddenly her mind was filled with memories and information about and of the new place she was about to visit. She was to meet with a group of heroes when the time was ready until then she was to act normal. There she had her mission and she jumped through the portal in front of her. It collapsed in on itself and a clock like sound rang through the paradox zone.

Killing Joke, New Metropolis

To be quite honest, Harrison was enjoying his little beatdown. He couldn't pull himself away from it until he heard something. Well, someone. He turned quickly his left hammer sending someone flying in the process. Both of his hammer's rested as he gave his arms a slight break. He looked at the person who spoke to him and whistled. "Wow. I don't know who or what you are, but I like it." He grinned before glancing back. They weren't attacking him. Based on their words they wanted a bit of the fun. "Well, I was..." He was interrupted by the arrival of yet another. "Possibly psycho?" He glanced back at the female looking... creature? He chuckled. "You and I deeeeeefffiiiiiinnniiiittteely need to hang out some time." He said to her before facing the 28 assorted thugs that remained. Most were fairly well armed with some heavy automatic weapons and those that weren't looked like they could fight. But in the end they were just petty criminals.

"As I was going to say, feel free to tear into these fucks like you'd tear into presents on Christmas morning. I could care less." Harrison said to the two. "Oh and if you wanna get your name out there, make sure they know it before you take 'em out." He advised the second who'd arrived. "And now, without further ado." He ran forwards twirling both hammers. He was back at it, swinging, left and right, to take down a few more. If he was lucky these two would handle most of what left so he could pick up his target item and head out. Not like he really had a reason to stay or care about these two strangers.
Nicolas Constantine, New Metropolis

Nicolas nodded and walked through the door into the seemingly unabandoned home, formerly belonging to Tony Stark. "Right then. I told you who I am. So why don't you do the same mate. Try to help me make sense of what's going on." He said calmly as he glanced around. He honestly wasn't sure what had happened. He was sure he'd find some sort of demonic being. Or a heavenly one as well. Anything that didn't seem somewhat ordinary. However, just as he'd calmed himself and prepared to move on another appeared. Grim shadow. Nicolas couldn't have been anymore freaked out. The hell was this thing doing here?

"Bloody hell mate. Don't shoot the damn thing." Nicolas reacted almost instantly to Tesla's reaction to the sudden change of stimuli in the area. Another supernatural being appearing out of nowhere would be enough to throw anyone off. "I'm not with him, but he's with the Grim Reaper. I don't know if you know him, but he's not a bloke you wanna be on the wrong side of." He stated in a rather quick manner. "Besides, if it was our time, or he wanted to kill us we'd be dead." He added in for good measure. It was fairly true. He was good at what he did, but didn't think he could properly take on a servant of death without any preparation. And he definitely wasn't equipped to deal with death himself as of yet. "Hear him out first. He might be on our side. Hard to tell most of the time really." He admitted calmly as he stared down both Tesla and Grim Shadow, unsure of the move to make currently.
