> > Yeah, it takes a lot of work to keep a roleplay rolling and I admit that sometimes I have lost the drive to keep playing and dropped out. The death of some roleplays have been on me for that but this is one roleplay I have no intention on killing. And far-off is correct. I know for sure that Act 1 is not going to be short and I doubt Act 2(And maybe 3) is going to be short either. > > Occasionally roleplays just leave you bored or you generally get shunned by others(I've personally had this experience and it's more irritating than depressing), so dropping out on occasion is understandable. Glad you're dedicated to this, as it's hard to find a GM really looking to see something through rather than just amuse him/herself for a short while before not caring anymore. > > Just throw a few more acts onto that list and this could turn into a Diablo RP. Lol. Yep, I've never actually seen a Diablo roleplay before though. I also never understood why Diablo needed so many Acts. It is a straight forward dungeon delving game. You do several quests following the main line and then you have another act which follows the same style. In the end you are going to reach the same ending. It is not like the Acts are necessary. On the other hand, our Acts will actually have different focuses. As a person can infer about Act 1: Forgotten, it is about the memories our characters have forgotten. Edit: Also, getting late on my so I will be switching to my phone to get ready for bed.

I suppose it's just for organization, or something along those lines. Iunno really. I don't even care about it, I just like the rad action the games have to offer. (Especially 2. Though currently I'm playing Titan Quest so I can clear out my backlog of games, so I won't be playing a Druid anytime soon. Hehe.) > >"Damn it! They're both pretty scary when they want to be, I bet.

>Though it's been because of life giving me painful situations. I think I really jinxed myself when I said this, as something has come up IRL that might lead to me being gone for awhile. I won't know for sure until I see what the following days have in store, but keep it in mind. Seriously sorry if I just seem to disappear. I'll be continuing on as normal for now, but for how long, I'm currently unsure.

Dawn'll likely wait for Loki, since he (she?) said he'll be available to post in a couple of hours.

Sad to see you going Raddum. Due to the state by which you are required to pop out, I won't kill off your character. Instead, mostly due to the liquid plot I have, your character will instead be in a coma until you are back. The coma will be a thing(if you wish) the next time I post as I will temporarily take control of your character for it. If you wish for Ruko to get any memories in her coma then just shoot me a PM if you can of what you have planned. Once more, sad to see you going but I can say with an almost certainty that we will be in Act 1 when you come back.

So, in light of everything that is going on, I wanted to ask a question. Why did you guys start roleplaying? For me, I started to roleplaying to escape the reality of what was going on around me. My parents were getting divorced and I was still in hoghschool at the time. It was difficult for me to handle everything including my terrible school life so I turned towards roleplaying. It gavee the chance to create a person I wished I could be. This all changed after I moved out last year and started living on my own. Now roleplaying is my outlet for creativity and a way for me to avoid stress. Now I write so I can release what I am thinking, the fantastical worlds where people live in tandem with mythological beings. It also allows me to avoid worry because I get caught up in the work I am doing, whether this means making a character, writing a post or creating a world. Over the years, roleplaying has become a part of me as much as heart is

I saw a page about an RP on TV Tropes and thought the idea of RPing sounded cool (I believe it was called the Insanity Quest)

I was bored with playing games on the internet. I wanted to do something different, I remembered that I used to love to roleplay, so i searched for roleplaying sites on the internet and found this. Not much of a story.

I started roleplaying when I was in sixth grade. I always loved writing. I was on another website (not an RP website, mind you), and I was scrolling through the forums and always say this section called "Roleplaying," though I never paid it much attention. Then one day, on a whim, I clicked on it and figured out that roleplaying was (other than playing roles, duh) essentially writing but with partners. Anyone, like I said, the site wasn't dedicated to RP'ing, so the forum was pretty slow, and someone posted there saying "I'm leaving this forum, I found this new site that's so much cooler...." So yeah. As for the "why"... I dunno. I like writing. ¯\\_(ツ)_/¯
