Living with the good doctor, well, Ferghus calls him doc. Wouldn't so bad, sure he is a little scattered and hard to understand sometimes, but Rohrbach does have good intentions, and thats admirable. I suppose I don't mind too much however.
Good intentions being scienceScientific crimefighting! Or perhaps he has dark ulterior motives!
She's hot, I like her personality its wife material.... I wish she was real :(
Also, Emily Clarke is accepted. I like her a lot. Definitely worth the wait. (:Yay :D -blushes- Also, Emily has an apartment. It's unlikely she'd move out to move into a lab where she doesn't have to pay to live there. I was thinking off-campus, but there could be an apartment complex next to the lab perhaps. After all, I'm typing this from my ON-campus apartment. Also also, OMG ROSE LOOK AT THE TOP RIGHT CORNER OF YOUR POSTS
Name: Ray Joe Ali Johnson
Age: 19
Gender: Male
Personality:
Tough, hardworking and determined are the traits he is most identified with. He hates being treated as weak and moreover hates other people being weak. Joe honestly believes that a person that doesn't stand up for themselves is pathetic and is just making excuses. Joe when outside of work or studies likes to have fun and goof off. Despite all appearances however, he is actually intelligent and knowledgeable about various topics, as well as talented and skilled in numerous daily tasks such as cooking; those close to him dubbed him as a true 'Renaissance Man' - a master of multiple things.
This is not quite true though: Everything he does is done out of a desperate need to avoid going back to his former lifestyle. It has made him reckless, cynical, and prone to self-destructive actions. Finally, the thing that can be considered a true weakness is his inability to trust a woman under any circumstance - no matter the consequence.
Background:
He was born as the son of an aspiring boxer and his High school sweetheart. Named after the greatest boxers the world as ever seen, his father hoped to raise him and create a great boxer out of him. He only got to do half of that. His father died just before he could sign a deal for his first Title Fight due to a car crash. At the time, Joe was 8 years old. His mother, 24 at the time, who had taken care of him up until that point went into depression, before leaving him with his neighbors and disappearing. He resented her ever since.
Two years passed, and his life was living hell. His neighbors wife hated him greatly and saw him only as an extra burden. She repeatedly beat him and constantly drove him out of the house. The only reason she didn't kick him out completely was because her husband owed a debt of gratitude to his father, and actually liked him. Still, there was a limit to how much a person could endure. One day, he snapped and just . . . knocked her out. All it took was one hit and a ten year old boy knocked out a fully grown adult. Joe had definitely inherited his fathers genes. Still, out of fear or retribution, he ran out of the house and hid in a nearby park.
The park, incidentally, was the training ground of a particular gym owner, who specialized in boxing. Like a moment of true destiny, the man found Joe and in an awkward attempt to snap him out of his depression, began an impromptu boxing session. Joe loved every minute of it. The man, Terry Finkles, was so impressed with him that he invited him to practice at his gym for free. He accepted. As soon as he got back home, he told his aunt and uncle about his meeting with Terry, and announced his intent to become the worlds best boxer. His neighbor was glad to see his father in him, and his wife was glad just to have him out more.
Joe took odd jobs once he was fifteen to earn money for himself, and practiced constantly in the gym. Another event occurred, however, and all the money he had earned was stolen by a girl that pretended to be in love with him, and indirectly ruined his reputation in the gym. His distrust towards women solidified even more. The only person that he had left to trust was himself and Terry, he decided.
Currently, he is practicing for his debut on the international boxing stage.
Chosen Pill Color: Brown
Other: Really, really good at boxing, cooking and cleaning.BACON!I couldn't help but notice that you said something about delicious crispy pig! You're alright person.
Hmmm, I would think that they would need to live at the lab just so they can be monitor in case there is any unknown side effects. But I could also see many of the characters deciding to remain in their place of residences, because many of these characters are seem very independent or they would want to retain some normality. How close is the lab to the school? It's off campus but it's close enough that people could walk to it from dorms.
I KNOW AREN'T I SPECIAL. Gives me fuzzy feelings inside. I think I might need to go to the doctor. She's hot, I like her personality its wife material.... Ah, I see. I didn't read the list, heh. GG Also, I'm gonna' go make some bacon and shtuff. I'm skipping school today-tisks Xaynce- But bacon does sound good, provided it's not greasy. My stomach can't seem to take grease very well a good deal of the time. @TheHangedMan, you're fine. xD It's understandable. I should have put it in both places. I'll take the blame for that one. I didn't really have a problem with him, other than the broken 'rule' So it's fine. What three powers would you like to contribute to our Power Roulette?
Pfft, who can deny the sizzling, delicious meat of the gods? If your character loves bacon, then I daresay that our characters will be the two bestest friends in the entire RP.Penelope likes food. Period. So ye... If someone can cook, she'll love them forever because she can't cook for the life of her. Alright. So, after looking at some of the responses, I think I've come up with a solution to our problem. And if someone sees flaws with this solution, please be gentle with me. ( I scare easily. (; ) We have our campus which looks something akin to this. I tried to put names in but couldn't so I'll attempt to do that at some point. If someone wants to take a stab at it, they are also more than welcome. On North Broadway Street (I didn't care to block out the street names.) there is Rohrbach's lab which works with the University in some instances and across the street from his lab will be an apartment complex. Some students live in the dorm that is on the otherside of Rohrbach's Lab, some in his lab, and some in the apartment complex across the street. That way, they are all still centralized on the Lab and everyone is happy, ye?
