WoW Roleplay – I think just under 3 years, give or take. Still do it now!
Forum Roleplay – 9 months, according to how long this account has been active for. Dragged into it by my WoW friends, they all left, boom I'm still here.

Writing for as long as I can remember, though. That's the dream!

Kudos for still remaining, @McHaggis! Glad you did.

For forums, I want to say about four or five years before I found this site. Before that, I LARPed with friends, and held a D&D group.

I started writing actual stories roughly thirteen years ago. At least, that's as far back as I can remember. Anything before that's mostly a blur of jumbled memories. Ha.

Forum Roleplaying: Uh... I started when I was 9? On a site called Neko Kyugyay, tbt, and I haven't truly stopped sooo nine years now? That's a lot of writing.

I've done tumblr rping once and rp on skype with friends sometimes so I guess I just write too much for the time I have.

Well, as embarassing as it is to admit, since I was 12-or-so back when chatroom RPs were a thing. (Not sure if they are anymore, but I digress.)

So...14 years? I didn't start writing like I do now however, until about...4-5ish years ago on OneManga Forums and ummm....LFGComic forums. Inbetween intermittent bits with D&D groups and such, I kinda avoid those now though...because I miiiight've gotten creeped after once or twice.

Wow! That's impressive you started forum RPing so young. Never heard of that site, though.

Tumbler and Skype roleplaying would be chat-based, then, right? I've used Skype a couple times in general, but never Tumbler. I don't need another thing to distract me. Ha.

Yeah, I'm a little old-school. In-Person groups, on-line doesn't bother me much. And yeah, things got creepy with a high-school group I used to hang out with. I was overweight at first and then I...er....blossomed late, if you catch my drift. I went from being "one of the guys" to...er...not-so-much.

... Yeah, I can see where that would get awkward, especially in a high school age group. I was the DM for mine. At first, I was actually the only girl (GIRL DOMINATION!), but then over time, two others joined, one replacing someone who ended up moving out of town, before school ultimately dissolved the group. When we first started, the characters the others played ended up being an insane eladrin wizard who almost got the group killed a couple times, a dragonborn paladin allergic to smoke, a cleric who couldn't stand the sight of blood, a halfling afraid of heights, and a dwarf afraid of the dark. Good times.

I have been table top rping since 2006. Forum rping since 2005. But doing a free form thing since I learned how to use the Internet, meaning chat room days and being like 10. I've been writing since I was 10 as well. It was a lot of escapism.

I started role playing when I was 13, on fourms. So... its been about 13 years, almost 14. I do rp over IM, skype, chat services, DnD, LARP... uh... yeah. I love role play.

I know I'm late to the party but I'm gonna say how long I've been role playing XD So, I'm currently 14 (Oh no! A kid!) in third grade I began to play 2nd edition D&D. About fourth or fifth grade I got into White Wolf, Such as Vampire the Masquerade and Werewolf the Apocalypse. About 2012 or 2013 I got into Role Playing online. I figured, "Hey, if my friends don't want to play any role playing games with me why not play online" So I started. I'm currently going into my Freshman year and have been role playing for about six years now, which I'm proud of for a kid my age and because people around where I live think it's dumb and sometimes Satan worship XD
