I think I am going to open the character submission early for the tournament. I have a lot to do next week so evaluating characters over the weekend gives me time to scrutinize them without being rushed.

It says in the second post that character sheets are to be posted in the OOC. Also, I was actually planning on creating a new character over the weekend. I guess this means I'm in a bit of a time crunch if I want to join- or I could just use an existing character.

Hi, so I read the first 13 pages and somewhat understand the dynamics of it. I was wondering about how to go about creation of characters, submissions, and where to put them. (Also just joined today so still kind of fumbling around the site.) ^_^;;

You can do whatever you like with your characters, but bare in mind that if you want other people to know about them and potentially challenge them you'll want to put them in the CS section of http://www.roleplayerguild.com/topics/79678-rpguild-ranking-headquarters/ic

If you look in that section you'll probably find a wide range of different characters and the formats in which people have displayed them, this should give you a good idea of what sort of information you need to include for Arena as opposed to normal CS.

Once you have an idea of what power level of character you're looking to create (Unpowered, Mid Powered, High Powered) I'm sure we'll be able to give you more pointers on character creation.

You can't have a knock-out tournament with 10 people, unless you're compensating for leavers and drop-outs.

Got to be 4-8-16 etc.

I work in a grocery store as a stocker.

They don't stock until night, so I go in at 6 or 7 until finished.

this week? that has meant, basically, 2 or later.

plus I worked a six day stretch from Friday to Wednesday. including off at 2, and back at 9:30.

i got 39 hours this week, plus 30+ last week.

Took the week off for my birthday, working a summer job until I go back for my final year of Uni.

I work EMS from 6 PM to 12 in the evening. Basically, I walk in, sit down, and wait for something to happen. When I'm not, I'm either checking the ambulances or funposting.

I own my own business as a consultant, part time educator.

@Rilla I have two people who have submitted characters with no points yet but they are in fights currently. Advice?
